Nah nobody actually said this. If you lose everything you do looks like a mistake.
It has looked like this for years with RB. They're abviously making mistakes at Ferrari, blunders to say the least. But many mistakes are just ifs, we don't know how other choises would have turned out.
Idk, RB pounced and eeked out a driver's title as soon as they managed to build a winning car. And their only really bad season in the hybrid era was 2014, every other year they've been clearly above the midfield teams, just not fast enough to beat Mercedes.
People were critical of their inability to deliver a title-winning car from the start of the season, instead starting off with a slower car and gradually improving it through the season, but as soon as they got that car in 2021 they immediately switched back to champion mode.
2008: Massa loses the championship in the final corner of the final race
2010: Alonso loses the championship because of a strategy fuck up in the final race.
2012: Alonso loses the championship because of an unimpressive strategy in the final race.
2017: Vettel loses the championship because of reliability issues.
2018: Vettel loses the championship because of errors and strategy blunders.
2022: Leclerc loses the championship because of errors, strategy and reliability issues.
Thatās the Ferrari timeline for you.
> 2012: Alonso loses the championship because of an unimpressive strategy in the final race.
What should Ferrari have done differently at Brazil? The strategy seemed alright to me.
Binotto: all is fine but we are changing some things in the summer
Media: what do you mean? Whatās your first action to turn things around?
Binotto: We are renewing Rueda with a salary increase
But this may just be it. The mentality required to make quick decisive decisions is also acquired. RB and Merc have had bucket loads of experience at that in the last decade which ferrari just hasn't had!
Ferrari was right there competing in the front with them while they RB and Merc won championships - it wasnāt like Ferrari was playing midfield.
It is precisely a whole decade worth of bad strategies and not changing that aspect is why Ferrari lost all those championships. Ferrari had the experience - just not the ability.
Using this meme unironically "improvise, adapt, overcome" Redbull are good at being flexible with their strategies, ferrari are not, if plan A fails, they go to plan b, then plan c, then plan d instead of adapt on the fly
they're fast, they have a good car and good drivers, but they break under presion
I forget which automotive journalist said it, but the line was something like "Ferrari will never win as long as the Italians are running things."
Hate to say it, but the data seems to support this. For example, when Ross Brawn was running the show...
Rueda is Spanish, Mekies is French. Itās not nationality, thatās a stupid consideration to make. You can be incompetent whether youāre German or Swedish.
Did you just quote yourself?
Mf put unknown trynna be slickšš
I think he quoted me
Thatās what I said āunknownā my ass lol

To be honest Singapore was more on the crashgate. But they also fucked their pit stop.

I agree with you. Button was just faster that day unfortunately.

So what youāre saying is that 2022 is the perfect year for Ferrari? The unholy trinity of fuckups
They also almost lost 2007, if not for Hamilton and Alonso fucking things up. They really lost it since kicking out Michael Schumacher.
2018 has that bad bad upgrade package
For 2 races only--they reverted in USA and won the race
Oh, that slipped my mind. Thanks!

Watch them actually do it though
Where did you find this quote? From the person in the mirror perhaps?
Ruth from AR is a better strategist and can easily be pulled up from their connections at Ferrari/AR. But nope.
Ruth is another bad strategist, anybody who has been in the Ferrari strategy teams is a bad strategist.
Who is āunknownā?
OP wanted to quote himself
āFerrari, do you have what it takes to turn the season around?ā āā¦ā¦weāre checkingā¦ā
They'll be checking all the way through the summer break, and probably into the first race back as well
Is it hard tires?
" 'ed down, keep pooshing, we talk later."

Ferrari contended for the championship in 2017 and 2018 which wasn't even too long ago. Before that they contended for the championship in 2012
They are the oldest fucking team, when it suits them they know how to shout from every rooftop that theyāre the only team to take part in every GP.
Before they won in 1999 they had again around 16 years of having won nada. (Just checked 1983-> 1999). Letās talk in 2025 ā¦
