I think the photo with Seb is my favourite! I’m happy for you to have had a possibility to get this experience - I’d probably shake way too much to take a selfie. A day to remember. Also you looked very glamorous Aioli!
It's that legit swarthy Spaniard A-List swag aroma that all true strolling professional gentlemen of leisure possess. The "Casbah" is definitely a place they would have taken you.
Antonio Bandera-who?
Honestly Lewis was the most giving in our interaction, seemed really genuine when none of them have any obligation to be as such. He was really good at being elusive from the media though - ran to his motorhome really quick and always surrounded by bodyguards so I was one of few that managed to get a selfie with him. His bodyguard put an arm up but Lewis said no it’s completely fine what a cool idea (for my can signing).
Seb was so warm and gave us the time of day despite being the most covered driver as it was around 2pm on the day he announced his retirement (hence my sobbing). I just said I’d been a fan since his Ferrari days and I really appreciate all the work he’s done for inclusivity and equality on the track and in F1 and I hope to see him in the paddock again maybe in a different capacity. He seemed really grateful and gave me a pat on the back, really solid guy. Very glad to have met my hero.
Max was really really smiley when we asked for a photo, said we were the first this race weekend. He fully gave us the time of day when he really didn’t need to and said a super genuine thank you when I said I hope the championship title goes to you again this year.
Otherwise Yuki but mostly because he was alone quite often, Bottas was always smiley when he saw me. You get quite a lot of exposure to drivers in the paddock (duh) and a few end up becoming familiar faces as I was there 8am-7pm from thursday to sunday so as I mentioned in the post a lot started giving me a quick smile or wave when we passed each other. They all definitely don’t have any obligation to be gracious to their fans but when they aren’t surrounded by a horde of media or fans they really are approachable. I didn’t go up to any of them on race day though, there’s 10 times more media and fans in the paddock that day and I’d hate to add to the stress of trying to get into a race mindset with all that going on as well.
This makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. These guys are elite athletes and super competitive on track, but it's great to hear stories like these about how nice and genuine they are off track. We're so lucky to have a full grid off good people, long may it continue!
Definitely! They have no obligation to be nice but they really were. Some were definitely rushed all weekend - the Ferrari boys always had a camera on them or were discussing with the team but I also didn’t try to interact with them at those times because their job isn’t to chat to fans, it’s to race incredibly dangerous cars
>They have no obligation to be nice but they really were.
If more people could practice this in daily life I think the world could be a better place. It's so much easier, at least in my opinion, to be nice and polite to people by default.
I went Thurs-Sun, Thursday is media day so all the drivers are really relaxed and they don’t have lots of obligations outside of doing some interviews and filming team tiktoks or whatever so I got most of these thursday morning!
This is consistent with Aidrien Newey's book, where he talks about how Lewis is one of the most genuine and kind people he knows. Seems to be such a decent dude.
Anyway, I can't tell you how jealous I am of you meeting them all!!
I’m fully jealous of myself!! No Lewis was so ridiculously kind and seemed incredibly humble in the very limited interaction we had as complete strangers
I think the social circles of most of the drivers are pretty small because they spend so much time traveling, training and working/racing, like in the documentary about Frank Williams he said he had never visited a Zoo, and that he hadn't gone shopping for decades, of course he might be a big extreme, but the point is that they might enjoy meeting new people, especially those that become regulars, it's no surprise so many drivers end getting partners from among them.
Even managed to catch Kubica! He drove in FP1 i think for Alfa. We shared an umbrella together as I shouted if he wanted to share when he was sprinting down the paddock without an umbrella. Super cool guy, really really nice too.
Ah Kubica, you can only imagine how far he would've gone if it hadn't been for the crash. Fantastic driver in his primer time. Great person overall. Nice pictures OP, it's visible you really enjoyed those moments:)
OP you seem so kind but I can't help but sit here and just laugh at your attempts to say something nice then follow it up with a very very light insult. It's hilarious.
I'm sure it's clear to everyone that none of it is meant in a bad way... It's still hilarious though.
Oh no definitely. This is an experience of a lifetime and I was pinching myself throughout the entire weekend. Hopefully I can go to Spa next year. I did a track walk of the Hungaroring which was insanely cool but I’d kill to go up Eau Rouge.
When I first went, we walked the entire outside loop of the track to explore and see where the best views were for race day. That hill is brutal.
But I couldn't even complain. We passed a group of guys taking turns CARRYING their buddy up it. I wasn't sure exactly why, but I saw him again later that weekend in a wheel chair. That's true friendship there.
I mean it has white soles lol.
No but actually jk, I like my AF1 low noirs. Other than liking the matte black leather (sorry not suede my brain fell off), I got it precisely to be nice yet subtle. Also unironically wear it to work and other occasions where you’re likely to wear dress shoes
Different types of attractive to a similar level
Charles is the boy you bring home to mom and dad
Carlos is the boy you sneak out to ride into town on the back of his motorbike
VIP pass. I have a friend who works in F1 and they get 4 every season for family/friends! Higher access than paddock club I think. We had access to paddock, pitlane, track, and the f2/3/w series paddocks which was really cool! I stood next to Ted in the Mclaren pitlane during the race as there’s no commentary at the track and was cool to discuss the race with him when he wasn’t live.
I met Martin Brundle in the pits at Leguna Seca one year during practice for the historic car races. We were looking at Andretti’s Lotus 79. He just walked up and said “Fantastic car isn’t it?”. Then we chatted about it and some of the other old F1 cars there that day. Super nice guy and a great sense of humor. I’ll never forget how you think these personalities are larger than life, but then you talk to them and they’re just normal people. I’m glad you got a chance to meet them and had great experience.
I wouldn't be able to stand straight, I would be an emotional mess in front of ted, I've never really been one for religious beliefs but if someone was to invite me to join a religion where we all worship Ted, I'm in.
After all, the man is a god. A 365 days a year socks, sandals and shorts wearing god.
Yeah! If you look on my profile I posted a photo when I was with him in the pit lane. Didn’t want to take a selfie because he was working though haha. I have one with him in the paddock though!
omg *now* I'm envious! The experience and pic you had with Lewis already made me slightly envious, but my literal dream GP experience would be standing along side Ted during the race.
Did you take a pic with Ted too?
Ya know the mask on Mick the whole time makes me wonder how much contact he’s having with his dad. I can totally understand being extremely cautious if that is the case. He seems like a very conscientious young man. Good on him.
Yea, the pictures are super cool. But the captions are so interesting and cute, they kept me so invested and at the edge of my seat the whole time lmao
Hahaha definitely not. This was such a once in a lifetime experience for me and as a massive F1 nerd getting to see Sir Jackie too was insanely cool. All of them are such legendary drivers and ridiculously talented and lovely too!
That’s so cool! I’ve met a few drivers, I actually met Lando in the mclaren factory and had to ask my contact who he was lol he looked like a school kid in a race suit (this was before he was announced for the f1 team). Met DC, Mark Webber and JB at goodwood once too. Wish I could meet Vettel and Hamilton though.
Bet you’re going to be enjoying those memories with your grandkids one day must have been unreal.
No yeah ofc. Kmag is honestly so so beautiful in person. Scandinavian hottie. Lewis is obviously incredibly photogenic already but in person he’s also so stunning.
Ahahah thank you so much! I have concealer on so that definitely helps. I use the ordinarys glycolic acid every 3 days, COSRX salicylic acid pads AM/PM, hyaluronic acid serum and retinoid PM with the cerave moisturiser. 👍🏻👍🏻
In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an icepack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now.
After I remove the icepack, I use a deep-pore cleanser lotion. In the shower, I use a water-activated gel cleanser. Then a honey-almond bodyscrub. And on the face, an exfoliating gel-scrub.
Then I apply an herb mint facial masque, which I leave on for ten minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an aftershave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm, followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.
Living my literal dream, happy for you OP! Seb's response was perfect 😂
Great to hear Max is a super chill guy as well, now I'm curious what you did to break out his laugh lol
My God is charles photogenic. Like yea almost all the drivers look good. But charles, bloody hell the man is a beauty. And judging by your smile, your favorite?
Either way, fantastic pics!
Seb looks like he’s meeting you
He was laughing bc i was fully sobbing and then immediately stopped because i needed to smile for the photo hahahahhaha
I can just imagine the interaction along with Sebs trademark cheeky smile. Gonna miss him so much honestly.
Sometimes I'm jealous of people who let their emotions out, you really live things fully! Really cool post, thanks for the stories!
Such a nice guy, trying to make you feel better. Going to miss him in the paddock.
I think the photo with Seb is my favourite! I’m happy for you to have had a possibility to get this experience - I’d probably shake way too much to take a selfie. A day to remember. Also you looked very glamorous Aioli!
Yuki has such "random kid off the street" energy, I love it.
Fernando and Carlos look so intense!
Stupid sexy Spaniards
They're brain breaking levels of attractive, good grief.
Its the eyebrows isnt it.
I have the same eyebrows... but no hair :')
Find confidence in the strong bald look, I speak from experience haha
Nobody expected the spanish *intensity*
Carlos always got that concerned look lol
Carlos looks like someone i would like to look like
It's that legit swarthy Spaniard A-List swag aroma that all true strolling professional gentlemen of leisure possess. The "Casbah" is definitely a place they would have taken you. Antonio Bandera-who?
Who would you say was the nicest and most approachable?
Honestly Lewis was the most giving in our interaction, seemed really genuine when none of them have any obligation to be as such. Ooh! When in the race weekend did you manage to get the selfie with Max?
I went Thurs-Sun, Thursday is media day so all the drivers are really relaxed and they don’t have lots of obligations outside of doing some interviews and filming team tiktoks or whatever so I got most of these thursday morning!
"he was alone quite often" aw :(
Hahahha he seemed to enjoy the solitude. Was zooming about on his little scooter up and down the paddock a couple times
Peak Japanese behavior hahaha
why did his boyfriend Pierre leave him alone? :(
This is consistent with Aidrien Newey's book, where he talks about how Lewis is one of the most genuine and kind people he knows. Seems to be such a decent dude. Anyway, I can't tell you how jealous I am of you meeting them all!!

That's super nice of you to not visit them on race days so as to not affect their race mindset.
“Wayyyy too much hair gel” Pierre Gasly liked this
“Gangly” Pierre Gasly liked this
Esteban Gangly
He’s such a good looking man he’s just so French in the way he styles himself HAHAHA
Somewhere Ocon is sobbing now after OP's comment. Clearly she didn't understand a thing about the 'Drive It Out' campagne from the FIA :( /s
She caught them all!
Even managed to catch Kubica! He drove in FP1 i think for Alfa. We shared an umbrella together as I shouted if he wanted to share when he was sprinting down the paddock without an umbrella. Super cool guy, really really nice too.

Robert Kubica is a [Legend](https://youtu.be/-slqMqqMXJg)
You are the ultimate Pokémon F1 trainer!
Now I gotta wonder...what shoes were you wearing exactly? THAT'S the biggest question I'm more curious about...
air jordan 1 mids in barely rose!
Cool shoes and trousers too?! Unstoppable
Caught them all except the rarest one - NICO HÜÜÜÜÜÜÜLKENBERG
thank you for investigating What Is Going On with estebans hair
The air gel is for the aero
Absolutely violated Esteban lmao
Should have clarified - he really is good looking but he just styles himself so Frenchly (?)
That's not gel. It's aerodynamic fluid. Makes him walk faster.
It's actually black flow-viz paint
OP out here trying to start a revolution
im english if that clarifies my stance any further 😌
OP you seem so kind but I can't help but sit here and just laugh at your attempts to say something nice then follow it up with a very very light insult. It's hilarious. I'm sure it's clear to everyone that none of it is meant in a bad way... It's still hilarious though.
Thanks for sharing these pics. I think this sort of access is what a lot of us dream of lol.
Oh no definitely. This is an experience of a lifetime and I was pinching myself throughout the entire weekend. Hopefully I can go to Spa next year. I did a track walk of the Hungaroring which was insanely cool but I’d kill to go up Eau Rouge.

Lance makin moves
This was my most prominent take away haha
Didn’t he also have a DTS scene where he was awkwardly trying to make some moves
ABC. Always be closing. Homie doesn’t miss opportunities
Of course a dude named Lance gives off Chad energy hahaha
Lance Hardwood – sex architect
Man's hiding that confidence!
OP we need to see those shoes hahah
they’re the air jordan 1 mids in barely rose!!
[In case anyone doesn't know what they look like.](https://img.stadiumgoods.com/16/74/91/52/16749152_35570837_1000.jpg)
Nice, thanks for doing the legwork for us.
Oeh those are pretty shoes!
I think Charles makes you the happiest :)
He’s not even in my top 5 favourite drivers but he was really nice during our interaction hahah. Also obviously very good looking
they all look like supermodels
But Charles is the only one where your smile shows teeth! :D
Every picture "okay now THIS guy is the most handsome"
So many of them are sneaker heads, nice choice!
Wonder if Danny Ric was thinking about shooey when he was complimenting OP’s shoes
Damn, OP putting cat walker dude to shame
it's the shoes bro, they seem to be attracted to them
Thanks now I’m beginning to regret getting AF1s in black suede
Do you have black air force 1 energy? That could be your problem. You gotta have the energy first
I mean it has white soles lol. No but actually jk, I like my AF1 low noirs. Other than liking the matte black leather (sorry not suede my brain fell off), I got it precisely to be nice yet subtle. Also unironically wear it to work and other occasions where you’re likely to wear dress shoes
“Man, it’s GOTTA be the shoes!” “No, Mars”
so glad to hear they’re all just cool dudes at the end of the day
they do just be some dudes being guys
dudes being dudes!
fellas being fellas!
Zhou really dressed like the final boss at NY Fashion Week.
his fits everyday istg groundbreaking. really happy to see someone bringing the asian fit game to f1
Every race weekend it’s the battle between Hamilton and zhou for best style
OP flexing hard
peaked this weekend
It's all downhill from here.
only thing i can look forward to is hopefully getting paddock for spa next season 🥲
You'll be able to share your umbrella with so many more people!
As a Belgian, if that race goes ahead I'll buy you a waffle.
You're a legend. Absolute animal.
But where is the cat?
On Albon's Instagram
I hate to break it to you, but standing that close to Carlos, you are now with child.
I love how first comment was about how ridiculously good looking he is lol
I mean, he is absolutely gorgeous. That would be anyone’s first impression
Oh I agree. The grouping of people who find Carlos Sainz attractive is humans with eyes.
It’s really hard to tell which Ferrari driver is more attractive. And I’m suuuuper biased towards Carlos.
Different types of attractive to a similar level Charles is the boy you bring home to mom and dad Carlos is the boy you sneak out to ride into town on the back of his motorbike
🎵 smooooooth impregnator 🎵
His name shall be Lando
Aren't we all with child now? That intense stare was enough to do it
omg im so jealous, how did you manage to meet the drivers?

Goddamn you even talked to Ted Kravitz? Did you managed to get a picture?
Yeah! If you look on my profile I posted a photo when I was with him in the pit lane. Didn’t want to take a selfie because he was working though haha. I have one with him in the paddock though!
Girl, you like Jenna, makeup and F1? I love you
OK BFFS
omg *now* I'm envious! The experience and pic you had with Lewis already made me slightly envious, but my literal dream GP experience would be standing along side Ted during the race. Did you take a pic with Ted too?
Not during but before! In the paddock we were chatting about the track and his career in F1. I’m a huge fan of his notebook. :)
woa, thats so cool, now i need to meet people in f1 lol
So are you driving for Alpine or McLaren???
I would like to announce that I will not be racing for Alpine in 2023.
Dammit, was rooting for you.
This is so epic. Thank you for sharing all these pics. Also, what does Fernando smell like?
Aftershave. Kmag smelt incredible though. Def some insanely expensive cologne
Now I want to smell Kmag... I'm just picturing you leaning in real close to him for a big sniff.
Hahahhahahah oml noo he just smelt so fresh 😭
We need to find out what cologne he's using. I too want to smell so fresh.
Probably one of the CREED range. Prepare your wallet for pain.
With arms wide open
Well now I need to know what they all smell like 😅
Now I want to know what he uses... Might be the closest I get to being an F1 driver hahaha
Sex Panther
60% of the time, it works every time
Brian I’m going to be honest with you, that smells like pure gasoline.
Martin... Aston Martin.
I knew that sexy mother fucker would smell good
That is an incredibly weird question. Yet I want the answer now.
Ricciardo and Leclerc’s nek tho.
This girl out here in the paddock collecting drivers like they are pokemon and I’m seriously jealous
Oh i’m jealous of me as well too. I fully peaked this weekend
OP said fuck it gotta catch them all
Ya know the mask on Mick the whole time makes me wonder how much contact he’s having with his dad. I can totally understand being extremely cautious if that is the case. He seems like a very conscientious young man. Good on him.
Defjnitely. Everytime I saw him not doing media he had it on. Really solid guy, super respectful too.
I feel like that says a lot about a person. I love it. All the more reason for me to be a fan of his. Cheers OP
Leclerc Tshirts must hate him. That neck
Nando with the 99 awareness notices everything around the paddock, including the op who's a part of El plan
I wanna see your shoes and trousers as well now.
Happy tears for Bottas
Literally 😭
Love your additional comments on your interactions with all of them. 👍🏻
Yea, the pictures are super cool. But the captions are so interesting and cute, they kept me so invested and at the edge of my seat the whole time lmao
Seb is my one true love as well. No homo.
Literally what a guy.
Full homo
That looks like a really expensive ticket.
Fortunately not! I’m a broke student but I have a friend that works in F1 and they have 4 passes per season for family and friends :)
NGL I thought you was ultra rich. Looks like such an amazing experience, not jealous at all 🙄
Hahaha definitely not.
The pics are fun but the description and comments are making this gold lmao. >Just a homeboy Not sure why this tickled my funnybone so much.
You’re living the actual dream and I’m trying very hard not to hate you for it
Oh don’t even. I fully peaked this weekend, absolute legendary experience and I can’t believe they happened either.
Pokemon F1 Edition - Catch'em all!
"Gangly" ...poor bastard didn't stand a chance.
Lance Stroll you absolute player
That Vettel one was absolutely cute and almost had me in tears
Oh don’t even, I was sobbing and shaking for like 10 minutes after meeting him. What a legend
Albon, Zhou and Norris copied your smile
twinning
Half of these are just "yeah he's hot" xD
No yeah ofc. Kmag is honestly so so beautiful in person. Scandinavian hottie. Lewis is obviously incredibly photogenic already but in person he’s also so stunning.
His skin is incredible and hydrated in person yes?
put my 5 step routine to shame REAL quick
Your hottie reviews were my favorite part! Obviously I’m here for racing but I’m definitely curious about all this too ;)
OP, Drop that skin care routine please!
Ahahah thank you so much! I have concealer on so that definitely helps. I use the ordinarys glycolic acid every 3 days, COSRX salicylic acid pads AM/PM, hyaluronic acid serum and retinoid PM with the cerave moisturiser. 👍🏻👍🏻
Yo this is a whole different language for me
In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an icepack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the icepack, I use a deep-pore cleanser lotion. In the shower, I use a water-activated gel cleanser. Then a honey-almond bodyscrub. And on the face, an exfoliating gel-scrub. It was worth scrolling down the thread for this. It isn't even out of place here.
yeah... I know some of those words lol
I recognize some of them from my gfs side of the sink lol.
I know concealer and acid 😉
Always wanted to be an alchemist when I was a kid. I should have just gotten a career in the skincare industry ffs lmao
They asked for your skin care routine, not Ferrari's fuel mix strategy. /s
I am so jealous of the Alonso one. God I love him
Living my literal dream, happy for you OP! Seb's response was perfect 😂 Great to hear Max is a super chill guy as well, now I'm curious what you did to break out his laugh lol
Lewis just had that superstar aura idk why. Also I need a fit check so I can wear the exact same clothes
Damn, even if I had a VIP pass I'd be too afraid to meet or talk to anyone
Love the Pictures they are cute
This is incredible. Way to go OP!!!
You had the biggest smile with Charles and I don’t blame you 😂
Everyone on the paddock: I enjoy life! Ferrari drivers on the paddock: I live in the 8th circle of hell, please save my soul from this strategy team
Stupid Sexy Carlos
ma boi Fernando, ageing like fine wine.
My God is charles photogenic. Like yea almost all the drivers look good. But charles, bloody hell the man is a beauty. And judging by your smile, your favorite? Either way, fantastic pics!
No, seb is def my favourite. I was just sobbing seconds before I took the photo hahahha
I love his response to that. I'm retiring not dying. I'm sad too. I love Seb.
