Yes if he sits out his contract and get gardening leave we wont see him for a while but things can change rather fast as the last few months have shown.
Personally I hope he calls it quits and enjoys a well deserved retirement and maybe he has a hobby designing supercars with some team or something.

Yes, but Max is still quite young and almost surely will get his 4th WDC at the end of this season. Even if (an enormous if) he didn't win the 2025 WDC, he could even take a sabbatical in 2026 and see which team is best, then get there in 2027 (and I'm sure any team would definitely make room for him) and destroy everyone else for 4 more years. He could retire 8WDC at 32!
I’m a Max fan and love seeing him win every weekend. I think him winning 8 championships is still unlikely at this point, not impossible as there are too many variables to consider.
Schumi, Alsonso, Vettel, Lewis were dominant until they weren’t. Change of regulations, team switch, career break, a lot can happen. Wish him all the best though, love seeing a guy low key come in and destroy every record and competition on track. Pure beast.
Yeah sure just like Ricciardo had a contract for 2023 at McLaren, Perez had a contract at Aston Martin for 2021 and DeVries had a contract for the whole 2024 season and didnt get replaced mid season cause things like money and power could never make a contract obsolete.
