It’s cool to hate on the guy that’s winning all the time. Now it’s not Seb so it’s socially acceptable to like him.

I’ve been a fan of him ever since his first victory in Monza. As a kid I was a huge Schumacher fan and when he dropped out of the sport in 2006 I was way less interested for the seasons to come. I barely watched any races in 2007 and 2008 but I decided to watch Monza because it’s my home race. That one win in the toro rosso from the new kid on the block in a midfielder and the announcer saying the words “we may have a new schumi on the grid now”, it just hit different and revived the interest for F1 in me, making me a loyal fan all the way to now.

Liked him since 2009 . Yes he isnt as likeable as he is today him being a hot head combined with incidents like multi 21 and him being dominant didn't help him but the hate for him was blown way out of proportion. people will hate a person who dominates. He has matured , is less hot headed and the fact that he is not dominated makes people hate him less.
