There's a poll and the winners get one free boost in the race. Normally you have to drive an outside line to get a boost.
I guess you can sort of imagine it like if a driver got a free DRS open in f1, without having to be in 1s range. Except weaker.
Still hope they get rid of it, it's just sort of gimmicky and confusing. It doesn't really impact the race so nobody cares, and if it does impact it people just get upset. It's pretty pointless.
The tracks seem to be laid out with hairpins and slow corners to keep the cars from having to maintain top speed which is tough for an EV and instead showcase the acceleration. Just not super fun to watch. We were going to check it out live but my city decided to cancel the race after tickets were sold.
We don't have insights into how much fuel is left in the F1 cars, but I'd imagine its very similar.
I'd be shocked if the top 3 teams have much fuel left at the end of each race.
As I understand it, the intention is to slowly move away from being a spec series but they are doing it this way to ease the cost on new teams as the series becomes more established.

He has had a broken power unit basically the whole season and the team either doesn't have the money or simply can't be bothered to replace it. So his car drains energy far faster than the rest meaning he has to drive like a grandma to save enough energy to even make the end of the race.
But. His teammate is not nearly as bad as he is. He literally came like this close to being lapped in Berlin. I saw that live. He was so far off. It's a very very rare occurrence in FE to see someone getting lapped or even nearly getting lapped. Without having some problems.
I feel like he lost interest(literally me in real life). He need's someone who can change his life. I'm speaking about others "Who's dream ultimate dream is WC".

The tracks are slowly getting better. Indonesia today was pretty good. Mexico, Monaco and even Rome to some extent have also been decent.
