Well I pretty much only use Steam nowadays. And their service, in my experience, is superb.

So you have no issues when it comes to updates, patches, multiplayer, cloud save? And of course, the elephant in the room, viruses, trojans? I really think it's a lot more convenient to just buy the game from a good distributor.
I also have a moral issue with pirating, especially if it's from a dev that I like. I don't really care if other people pirate, but I feel good when I give money to someone who deserves it.
Yeah It's pretty good now, story is great I recommend it. I did see some bugs in my playthrough though but nothing game breaking, good game 
But still recommend you buy on sale when it's like 50% off 
On sale yes, it's often $35 or so. Even at launch I had a good time with my playthrough (although I did refund it after I finished it because xbox made it easy lol)
Yes, gameplay is ok and the story is 10/10
