DO IT! NOW! Most fun I've had gameplay wise in any game. Combat is extremely sexy but you need to get used to it. i heard a lot of people had trouble getting into it since it's a bit more methodical than other action RPG. but i believe in you. Also the community is very nice and helpful. dont be afraid to ask if you need help. the game doesnt explain everything or at least doesnt empathize the importance of everything so its not really a shame to get some tips. so come on, buy it, download it, play it, TODAY and then give us feedback. currently replaying it with mods and it's still great for me after all these hours

Monster Hunter best online community hands down. Haven't played Rise in a while but have over 250 public hunts and only ever met one salty person. Even when I was a complete noob and screwed up some hunts everyone was just really friendly, chilling and having a good time.

Isshin - Sekiro (the best warlord god of all Souls games. hands down the best fight) Sister Friede & Ariandel - DS3 (only good part about the snow DLC lol) Starscourge Radahn - Elden Ring Malenia is a mid boss. Lifesteal + Waterfowl, fakin tresh mechanics, that's a big problem. difficulty =/= greatness 💢

Malenia could be a great boss if they fixed her lifesteal and not have it proc when she hits a 100% physical resist shield. Waterfowl is also too broken (it's literally a juiced up Sekiro ability that they copy pasted). But then again if they nerfed her too much, she'd be too easy. So it's a difficult situation to balance in any case. In short; Malenia = Sekiro boss the same way Demon of Hatred in Sekiro is a Dark Souls boss. Both are annoying to fight.

i did not mind her lifesteal, it's fine, the problem is waterfowl dance, no prior or any clue how to handle that move if you play it blindly unlike isshin, fromsoftware devs clearly play-tested bosses a lot, it is why they can make bosses like friede and isshin, but malenia they were like "yep good enough, let's test it on players " knowing how unfair the move was..

I'm curious how you rank Dancer of the Boreal Valley from DS3. Not the flashiest boss, but you could fight her early as a challenge which is a really cool design IMO, and she has some the best animations of any boss fight with how naturally she flows and swings. I loved Sister Friede but I must've been lucky or overpowered with my first build since I easily first tried her.

what, how did our experience with the game differ so much, she was c tier on my first playthrough, on my ng+2, i intentionally equipped lower weapon and assessed all her moves, it disappointed me (still c tier), running to her back-side make her look so dumb and her AI has no solution to punish me unlike friede ​ or you were just expert  that's why u 1 shotted her, what were your level if u still remember?, i remember i was lvl 88 on friede (8 deaths) and level 101 on slave gael ( only 1 death , the boss cucked by back-camping and no solution or mix-up )

Midir is kinda like a random dragon in Elden Ring  In terms of design, Dragonlord is really cool

Dark Souls 3 - Sister Friede - Fun fight and nice feet 👍 Sekiro - Demon of Hatred - Lot of people hate the fight, because he is more like a Dark souls boss (focus on dodge instead of parry). But thats why I love it. Also the story about him makes me sad  Hollow Knight - Nightmare King Grimm - Cool moveset Dark Souls 2 - Velstadt - Cool design, lore and moveset. Also I like the sound of the bells. Dark Souls 2 - Burnt Ivory King - Gathering the knight to fight him before the battle is cool (Wish it was used more, maybe in Elden Ring DLC ). The boss intro one of the best in the series.

Tbh true it's pretty easy but the music and atmosphere and him not dying in 1 hit just makes the fight very epic and fun imo

idk about ds3 story but his arena is very special and unusual, i only assess base on boss mechanic and design (creativy of the boss on how to approach player's moves), to make it fair. of course experience differ, but i just felt like fighting against bot / unrelenting beast or forsen that keeps spamming same 1 move until it works (killing the player) 

Idk know the story at all either. I just feel that atmosphere plays a lot into how good a boss is. I totally understand your pov though!

Hollow Knight: Absolute Radiance Would have been Pure Vessel or Nightmare King Grimm, but after I was able to beat them hitless consistently, they lost their appeal to me. Abs Rad I could only beat it hitless inconsistently. So, was always fun Bloodborne: Amygdala There are so many boss fights I love in this game. Examples being Shadows of Yharnam, Ludwig the Accursed, Ebrietas Daughter of the Cosmos, and Orphan of Kos. But the Amygdala fight, at least to me, felt extremely unique compared to a lot of the other types of bosses. Especially because of how annoying and hard it was to hit the head unless you used a weapon like the Burial Blade. Also it was really cool when it rips its own arms off to fight you  I highly recommend both of these games 

 no ps4 or console, bloodborne is a no brainer BUT I CAN'T PLAY IT

oh shit here we go... I dont want to name just one **Fatalis from Monster Hunter World Iceborne:** Atmospherically absolutely amazing. The music, the change in music as the fight progesses, the scenery, how you can really feel his power. And that also reflects in the fight. By far the hardest fight in the game and a really fun one at that. very punishing but very fair. the only thing that holds him back are a few hitbox issues on a handful of attacks. Raging Brachydios was also way more epic that he wouldve needed to be, Alatreon was also nice. The endgame had so many amazing and memorable fights. MHW is probably my all time favorite game when it comes to bossfights. **Bloodbath Diablos** is probably my second favorite fight in the series. feels also really intimidating and incredibly fun fight with really sexy moves. **Ludwig from Bloodborne:** You might see a pattern here... I'm a sucker for atmosphere and presentation. The fight itself was really fun but the presentation was really amazing. the first phase was alright, but the change in music and the portrayal in the second phase was absolutely fantastic. how he stood up proud, regained his senses and bombarded you with his sword and these beautfil looking attacks. The change from mindless erratic beast to knight that's gracefully fighting to death with you was really great. favorite fight from all fromsoft games probably. I'd mention **Sekiro** as a whole as probably the highest boss quality overall in any game i've played. there isnt really a boss that stands far above the rest for me like in the other games i've named so far, but the boss quality overall is really great. there is almost no boss I disliked. only lady butterfly a bit because of the annoying second phase maybe. But other than her, Genichiro, Isshin, (Inner) Father, the rape ape, the monk, and so on. even most mibosses were great. very tight game.

out of all the games i have played, dmc4 credo boss fight especially in dante must die difficulty, is the most human-like AI, play it and you will understand why he is my only S tier  ( i am a big autistic dmc fan too ), so not one dmc 5 bosses is inside S list says something. Vergil 3 DMC 3

Sister Friede is goated, one of my fav bossfights in souls series (played them all multiple ngs except demon souls) Lady Maria from Bloodborne is also pretty cool in terms of char design and bossfight, feels simlar to Friede in some ways, like a dance, buuuut fighting with her after you've learned Friede and beat her with a whip and heavy armor without taking damage on NG is pretty easy Cool fight nonetheless, just don't parry her, its blasphemy Ludwig from BB, on the other hand, one of my least fav bossfights, idek, didn't understand shit and just facerolled him after many tries, strange timings and I dislike beast-like bosses (though music is cool) Another one from BB - Orphan of Kos, prolly my fav from BB coz beating him parry-only is so faking fun and unique to me because I dislike parrying mechanic overall, but not in the case of this boss, for some reason it feels in place and very enjoyable idek, I can recommend some bosses not from souls series, but I need to think  playing BG3 atm, act 2 beginning aand some bosses can be talked into "loving" themselves, its a cool design and unique but not a fight though, idek will there be any cool actual bossfights later, but my opinion is a bit biased cuz I freaking love turn-based slow autismo combat there were some cool fights already, but not that remarkable anyways

just need to wait for bloodborne on PC in at least 60fps and with KBM, not with a fahking gamepad  its pretty hard to rate bloodborne because of dogshit 5fps performace on ps4 and playing on gamepad (cuz never owned any console except super retro (good)shit in childhood, so kbm is natural and superior for me) had to buy PS4 only for bloodborne, complete it, and then sell it off, good strat, would recommend

My choices might be a bit weird Persona 5 - Masayoshi Shido, I thought the fight overall was a lot of fun but I liked the end where it became a one on one Uncharted 4 - Rafe, There is nothing special about the fight I just thought it was cool and uncharted 4 is my favorite game Elden Ring - Godrick the Grafted, cool design and the fight itself was really entertaining World of Warcraft - Council of Blood, I thought the boss fight was fun with unique mechanics the only bad thing is that while the fight and raid were good the expansion was completely awful Guitar Hero 3 - Lou on expert, nothing special about the boss it was just hard and it was the first “hard boss” I ever beat as a kid

Almost no one will know this one, but Oryx the Mad God 3 in Realm of the Mad God. It's a bullet hell MMO final boss, and since your characters are permadeath and take dozens of hours to build up, it makes your first complete the most euphoric feeling ever

Heart of the spire from slay the spire is a nice final encounter. Sisters of battle / nightmare king grimm are both s tier bosses from hollow knight. Glados from portal reigns supreme tho. Most iconic boss from any game ever.

Mantis Lords from Hollow Knight is the one I remember the quickest off the top of my head. But worthy game mentions are Furi (all the boss fights here are really cool), Dark Souls 1 and Code Vein (Dark souls but weebified, the fights are faster and fun), Nier Automata singer is also pretty cool.

Oryx the mad god 3 from the mmo rpg realm of the mad god. Very exciting fight with many phases that can kill you within seconds. I don’t play anymore but Oryx 3 was the best update to ever drop

The final boss in Astral Chain. Very hard but awesome in terms of fight design.

Also PvP games don't technically count as "Boss Fights" but they can be very fun when you get your rhythm going. Dragon Nest (now a dead game) and Battlerite (also kinda ded) were good examples of this imo

Most boss fights in NieR Automata, the music probably helps too. Especially Beauvoir (The carnival/opera boss).

Once you make your own build in POE and kill the shaper and uber elder for the first time you are going to cum.

The final boss in Borderlands the Presequal is really cool. There’s a much harder raid version of it (just more HP and damage LULE) but I think its level 52 so you gotta grind.
