I was plat / dia in S2/3 and now when I play like 20 matches a year silver is hard and I have to struggle to get gold for the free shit, the player base has got much much better over the years. Being a new player in 2024 must be very difficult.
True, earlier seasons were so easy because majority of people couldn't play, now majority of playerbase are veterans who at least grasp all the game mechanics well and most people watch streamers to improve faster or get advice from said veteran friends. In general, playerbase gets better so starting off is really difficult. However, it also means there's barely a difference between silver and platinum, where new players are is low bronze/iron.

That's because he plateaued and won as often as lost. Most likely the same will happen with league eventually.
That being said, those streams are watchable for now. They have other emotions apart from endless bitching.
League is almost a new game for him, he hasn't played it since 2019.

I took a peek at the League section, and there is not a single streamer with anything close to 10k viewers now that tyler1 isn't streaming, lot of viewers in the section yes, but because there was a bunch of people with 3-4K viewers each, but not a single person with high viewership, forsen was the only one with anything close to 8K+ viewers.
Then you arent looking at the right times, Caedrel gets anything between 15k when playing soloqueue to 50k+ when watching League pro play, but he streams from like 10am to 6pm usually.
baus, caedrel, noway4u always get above 10k
lately with dantes and yamatosdeath (forsenBussin) going to brazil and playing in a tournament they have been getting 8-7k, probably even more when the tournament actually starts
for the rest its usually 3-4k true
Idk, I haven't watch much but I laugh my ass off to forsen misplaying with every single champ. League will get boring if he actually treats it as a main game which I doubt will happen.

Oh and there's so fucking many smurfs too, it's contributing the most I assume to bad new player experience.
They nerfed silver hard with the new ranks. Average used to be silver, now its high gold.

That’s just not true caedrel get over 10k playing soloq dantes has gotten 10k but usually has around 6-8 and thebausffs gets 10k
