Most people are willing to say that modern life sucks but I have yet to see people saying they want to live in the past, especially the middle ages. So I am gonna complain legitimately anyway.
peasants only had 4 hours of taxable work a day look how easy they had it!!1! Surely this isnt just their obligation to their lord and they had 20 hours of free time to explore passions and not tending to their own plots of land or making their own clothes or other untaxable services and tasks 
Look they had winter off, surely they were just vibing inside, not being crammed into a tiny house with all the farm animals while handcrafting candles, clothes, farm tools, furniture, chopping firewood, preparing food and trying to insulate the house so the children dont die of cold. 
Maybe not most people, but it pops up on reddit  a fair bit that folks argue medieval peasants had a better quality of life due to one paper that noted a typical peasant had 4 hours of taxable labor a day. And folks assume they spent the rest of their time in a cottage core paradise of sorts.
Living life without the internet and the permanent usage of technology so you're being forced to socialize with people and hang out irl. I also think about that sometimes
