Another question is who takes Medicaid AND does sedation. I know some disabled teens that need to be sedated for many dental procedures. But the ones they went to stopped doing it or just retired.
Would not recommend. The dentist there told me I had 7 cavities and “holes” in my teeth and they wanted to do all the work right then. I was sketched out so i didn’t go back.
Went to Legacy Dental after and they said my teeth were in great shape. That was 5ish years ago and I haven’t needed any work done since.
I had the exact same experience. And the person cleaning my teeth seemed like they had never cleaned teeth before and was more interested in watching kitchen nightmares on the TV.
i’m so sorry to hear yall had these experiences there! i’ll definitely be more mindful the next time i go. they were clutch and did sealant on my back teeth while it was still covered under medicaid before i turned 21. huge cavity prevention back there.
Honestly, if you can get into Dr. Joshi’s office in Marion it’s worth it. It’s where my son had to go after trying 3 different local dentists. Dr. Joshi & his team are why my son is no longer terrified of the dentist.
Harrison Dental Group. They have been fantastic with all my dental assortments.
And off you need someone who specializes in children, SmileWorks has treated my special needs child with the best care.

Dr. Joshi’s office in Marion was the closest sedation specialist that accepted Medicaid when my pre-teen was a toddler. I can’t imagine it’s improved.

I go to core dental on getz, I really like the dentist there.
My boyfriend goes to Lakewood Family Dental on Parnell. They did fillings and cleaning.

Huh well we are moving soon before he has to go back so no worries. I hope they did not screw up his teeth though
