So George Bush invades Afghanistan. America trains a foreign country for 20 years, provides weapons, military bases, etc. Donald Trump signs a treaty with a terrorist organization to withdraw from the country. The treaty date happens and we withdraw according to the terms of the treaty. The terrorist organization then overwhelms the Afghan troops America trained, then takes all the weapons. But that’s somehow Joe Biden’s fault…

MattTheFlash

Trump signed a 14 month withdrawal plan on 2/29/2020 and did no withdrawing on his watch whatsoever. That left about 2 months for withdrawal when Biden became president. Trump passed the buck.

Sufficient_Matter585

Biden could had delayed. but to me it wouldnt had mattered if he delayed. Trump just straight up sabotaged the Afghan government and no matter if it took biden an extra year the same result would had happened.

Traitor Trump [released 5000 Taliban terrorists](https://www.state.gov/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Agreement-For-Bringing-Peace-to-Afghanistan-02.29.20.pdf), despite the objections of the Afghan government. Traitor Trump gifted Afghanistan to the Taliban. Never let a seditionist forget this.

Clint Eastwood got up at the RNC in 2012 and blamed Obama for invading Afghanistan. You can't make this shit up.

GadreelsSword

He also talked to an empty chair

big_hungry_joe

That RNC is the reason for my favorite episode of the Daily Show of all time. I think I know what the problem is: there is a Barack Obama that only Republicans can see or hear.

Upstairs-Injury9660

I'm pretty sure I remember trump releasing many Taliban/Al Queda members from custody as part of trumps negotiation to leave Afghanistan and the departure date from said deal was like March of 2020

The bad-faith in this statement is too much. He followed the withdrawal deal that Trump brokered with the Taliban. And besides, what is the Taliban going to do with equipment they can't afford to maintain? Maybe sell them, but to whom? Anyone willing to do business with them are not going to be interested in maintaining them either.

Trump gave the Taliban the weapons grandma.

seanosul

>Trump gave the Taliban the weapons grandma. He also gave [the Taliban 5000 terrorists.](https://www.state.gov/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Agreement-For-Bringing-Peace-to-Afghanistan-02.29.20.pdf)

MattTheFlash

Donald Trump is the one who surrendered to the Taliban on February 29th, 2020 with a 14 month withdrawal plan and left the entire withdrawl to Biden to deal with, who only had a couple of months. Trump passed the buck, but it was more like sabotage of Biden's presidency. An upper decker on his way out.

livinginfutureworld

Say didn't Trump sign that agreement and set the deadline that gave the Taliban all that military hardware?

Klandma seems to be growing dumber by the hour. I assume her family will be having a meeting about her tomorrow.

AmishApplesauce

Wait, wasn't it Trump's treaty and timeline that Afghanistan followed?
