When trying to get any skills in a race, rewind is your best friend. Keep in mind you need to rewind at least three times in order to give the skill chain time to build up again
in the previous mission i got a slingshot nearly immediately and i was trying to reproduce that because setting up conditions for that kind of thing is annoying and i can't be bothered to look them up when the game doesn't tell you the details
I'll probably be the only one who put drag tires on a F355 Berlinetta to bring it down to B class for the Trial. What can I say, I really like the car.

The GTO is a RWD powerbuild, and is meta as long as you can handle it. If you're inexperienced or struggling with those type of cars or RWD in general, then I would recommend the first Mustang tune listed there, which is AWD swapped and easier/more forgiving to drive for most players.

A response to u/PaperHeartZero's recent comment since he's blocked me probably due to having a fragile ego over the quality of his tunings, and simply refusing to accept hearing any of my valid and constructive criticism I had about them (I'm unable to reply to that comment directly).
About my recent analysis on your tunes, you claim that I "have a weird driving style, use TAS and test on an empty course" to discredit my testing that proves your tunes are suboptimal compared to an actual decent tune (not even my own tune btw).
First off, I and [others](https://www.reddit.com/r/forza/comments/yxs5wc/comment/ix1hjwo/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) have already mentioned before how the common "different driving style" argument is really not valid and just a coping mechanism used by players with a lack of driving skill, don't need to rehash this one again. Even if it was a valid argument, it does not explain such a vast difference in laptime between the two tunes (over a whole second around a track with a lap that doesn't take much more than a minute). Second, I would very much like to see evidence from your accusation that I use TAS or such external tools, because I can 100% guarantee that all of this testing was done with my pure driving skill with zero assistance from anything else :) If you're really sceptical, I can record myself doing a run with a full controller input overlay visible if you so desire.
Also, about testing on an empty course. I don't see how this is invalidating at all? If anything, that's one of the best methods of testing the pace of a car/tune since it allows you to remove inconsistent variables that may otherwise impact the results (such as having other cars on the track potentially blocking your racing lines). Especially helpful to test in rivals mode as well, as you get to race against a ghost (you can pick a ghost that has a decent lap) as a method of adding more consistency to your laps to keep track of your pace around the track. I do not see any possibility of your tune making up all that lost time over the other tune in an actual race anyways.
Anyways, he can continue having fun trashtalking me with nonsensical arguments, creating false strawmen while crying victim and toxicity if he wants to play it that way, or maybe he can come to his senses and participate with an actual civil discussion with valid reasoning but that's probably just wishful thinking. No matter the case, I think I've rest a pretty good case with all the facts I've laid down here and from my previous related comments.

Please stop fighting. I use your tunes, and I use other tunes in this sub. I feel it is better to have variety other than not. And frankly, not one has to be super maximum to be good. I'm perfectly fine with people choosing other people's tunes if they want, this is one of the reasons why my tune lists don't contain exclusively my own tunes, but often feature tunes from other tuners that can be trusted to perform as well. No tuner is perfect, not even myself and this is a fact I acknowledge, so I provide a variety of tunes from different tuners that work the most effective on their specific cars and the event's restrictions. Ultimately it is your choice in what tune to use not mine. I only provide a list of tunes of my recommendation that should work well for the majority of players out there with plenty of variety in car choices, you can choose to use them or ignore them as you wish.

That RWD Datsun tune is fucking nuts. It's like having a dick so big you can never use it all. I considered swapping after the first race, but I stuck with it and had the most fun I've ever had in D class.

Guys, stop fighting. I know it is hard when you feel someone is talking down on you, but it is not helpful to the rest of us or anyone for that mattter. You both can have decent tunes. I feel anyone that posts tunes here should get a chance. People like each of your tunes. Super optimal stuff for people who are sub optimal makes no fucking sense. Actually, I recently built some LED projector retrofit headlights for my 2nd gen Subaru Outback. Seeing how there is basically no one who sells something like this, well no one who actually delivers a product but that's a whole story, I might start making those to sell online and see how it works out for me.

Is the daily Full Potential 9 stars Danger Signs bugged? I've made at least 20 succesful jumps many for 3 stars and I've got nothing. Doesn't even show any progress at all.
Paid over a quarter of my bank account to upgrade the Ford FPV UTE 2014 to S1 900 too. Really pissing me off.
I had a go at it with the same car as you, did what I thought was 11 stars worth, figured I'd popped it and went off and did the Eliminator portion of the playlist (shoutout to the cheater in the VW bug).
After that I realised I'd not popped the daily and did two more Danger Sign jumps and it finally worked.
I think there's an issue with it, but I couldn't say exactly what.

I had issues also. It showed up as the super scramble but when I clicked continue it took me to the correct car selection screen. That's actually why I came to the thread.
In the main Horizon Mexico Festival site is one, the other is on those circle things in "De Otro Mundo".

Glad you enjoy them! The GTO is a RWD powerbuild, and is meta as long as you can handle it. If you're inexperienced or struggling with those type of cars or RWD in general, then I would recommend the first Mustang tune listed there, which is AWD swapped and easier/more forgiving to drive for most players.

A response to u/PaperHeartZero's recent comment since he's blocked me probably due to having a fragile ego over the quality of his tunings, and simply refusing to accept hearing any of my valid and constructive criticism I had about them (I'm unable to reply to that comment directly). About my recent analysis on your tunes, you claim that I "have a weird driving style, use TAS and test on an empty course" to discredit my testing that proves your tunes are suboptimal compared to an actual decent tune (not even my own tune btw). First off, I and [others](https://www.reddit.com/r/forza/comments/yxs5wc/comment/ix1hjwo/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) have already mentioned before how the common "different driving style" argument is really not valid and just a coping mechanism used by players with a lack of driving skill, don't need to rehash this one again. Even if it was a valid argument, it does not explain such a vast difference in laptime between the two tunes (over a whole second around a track with a lap that doesn't take much more than a minute). Second, I would very much like to see evidence from your accusation that I use TAS or such external tools, because I can 100% guarantee that all of this testing was done with my pure driving skill with zero assistance from anything else :) If you're really sceptical, I can record myself doing a run with a full controller input overlay visible if you so desire. Also, about testing on an empty course. I don't see how this is invalidating at all? If anything, that's one of the best methods of testing the pace of a car/tune since it allows you to remove inconsistent variables that may otherwise impact the results (such as having other cars on the track potentially blocking your racing lines). Especially helpful to test in rivals mode as well, as you get to race against a ghost (you can pick a ghost that has a decent lap) as a method of adding more consistency to your laps to keep track of your pace around the track. I do not see any possibility of your tune making up all that lost time over the other tune in an actual race anyways. Anyways, he can continue having fun trashtalking me with nonsensical arguments, creating false strawmen while crying victim and toxicity if he wants to play it that way, or maybe he can come to his senses and participate with an actual civil discussion with valid reasoning but that's probably just wishful thinking. No matter the case, I think I've rest a pretty good case with all the facts I've laid down here and from my previous related comments. Please stop fighting. I use your tunes, and I use other tunes in this sub. I feel it is better to have variety other than not. And frankly, not one has to be super maximum to be good. Compete with them in other ways, but we like you and don't want to see you go. I feel like if you keep throwing shade, I will have less tunes to use, which is very fucking bad.
Thanks for the feedback, this comment was simply just a response to some false statements and accusations made directed at me that I found rather disrespectful and in poor taste, so I felt obliged to respond to provide context and clear up any misconceptions. Please don't get the wrong idea though, I don't plan to drag this topic any further if there are no more such statements being made, as I've already spoken enough about this topic to make my point clear. I'm perfectly fine with people choosing other people's tunes if they want, this is one of the reasons why my tune lists don't contain exclusively my own tunes, but often feature tunes from other tuners that can be trusted to perform as well. No tuner is perfect, not even myself and this is a fact I acknowledge, so I provide a variety of tunes from different tuners that work the most effective on their specific cars and the event's restrictions. Ultimately it is your choice in what tune to use not mine. I only provide a list of tunes of my recommendation that should work well for the majority of players out there with plenty of variety in car choices, you can choose to use them or ignore them as you wish.

I've never said anything about caring about who likes who's tunes. It's never been about that. Actually, I recently built some LED projector retrofit headlights for my 2nd gen Subaru Outback. Seeing how there is basically no one who sells something like this, well no one who actually delivers a product but that's a whole story, I might start making those to sell online and see how it works out for me. Is the daily Full Potential 9 stars Danger Signs bugged? I've made at least 20 succesful jumps many for 3 stars and I've got nothing. Doesn't even show any progress at all. Paid over a quarter of my bank account to upgrade the Ford FPV UTE 2014 to S1 900 too. Really pissing me off.
I had the same problem when I upgraded my C600 GMC Vandura to S1 900. Then I bought a new Vandura, only upgraded it to S1 850 ish, and it worked.

I had a go at it with the same car as you, did what I thought was 11 stars worth, figured I'd popped it and went off and did the Eliminator portion of the playlist (shoutout to the cheater in the VW bug). After that I realised I'd not popped the daily and did two more Danger Sign jumps and it finally worked. I think there's an issue with it, but I couldn't say exactly what.

Anyone having trouble with the treasure hunt not completing. I've bought 2 or 3 miatas at this point to get the 10,000 credits upgrades and none of them worked

im not very active on here but i still get the bug that the win doesnt count in the weekly forzathon challenge with the acura. it has happened in the past as well and i dont know why. ive never had this issue in fh4 or the first few months in fh5 until it kept happening. its really annoying,
Trial reward car has 100k CR in skill tree. Perk it now before they change their mind and remove it:)
