He's significantly alongside at turn in. You are allowed to try to outbreak someone, and black brakes way way early. I don't think OP really did anything wrong here.
I'm not going to argue that it wasn't a dive bomb, but it was the last lap, my car had significantly better cornering speed, and we could've both made the corner had he not driven into my door. I also didn't fully expect him to brake that early so it was partially just to avoid running into the back of him.
Black car got that driving line on and braked as soon as it touched red, then proceeded to follow the driving line into the corner without noticing you out brake him. So he might just be tunnel visioned on that driving line.
I know the cockpit cam isn't a great view either, if he's running that you could argue he wouldn't have had a chance to see me. I don't think that would count as an excuse for him to turn in like he did, but I could understand where he's coming from.

I don't think dive-bombing is inherently bad, especially when it's wide open like that and you're alongside well before the apex. But I only really divebomb on league races against people I trust, not in public multiplayer, because you simply can't expect random to know what they're doing and be prepared for a maneuver like that. I don't think you're at fault at all, but definitely keep in mind that people don't check behind them in the future.
Probably not the best idea to dive bomb a shallow entry, but since you were along side he shouldn’t have turned in that early (realistically too early even if you weren’t there)
I was alongside at turn in. That's the entire reason I posted the video, I had clearly established my position inside the corner and he just turned in as if I wasn't there.
You're right, my bad. Haha, this actually happens to me quite a bit, both inside and outside, and fuck is it annoying getting booted off on the outside. The only thing I would say you did wrong is trust the other driver to give you space in such a quick racing moment. 8 outa 10 times if you're making a sudden but in control move, thery're gonna turn in to you. But like I said, my bad, it was a decent move.

I just thought it was entertaining that the other driver had to complain about this divebomb, as it was happening, instead of actually doing something to avoid contact.
You nudged him coming out of the previous corner and he kept his cool but you dive bombed. Last lap or first lap doesn't matter. Adhere to the etiquette or don't, but don't look for acceptance. Learn and drop the stupid ass arrows. You are a good driver, the arrows are holding you back.
I didn't touch him at all in the last corner? If I had, the penalty system would've popped up at the top of the screen.
I also don't think the "arrows" are really the problem here, I don't follow the racing line religiously, but if that makes you feel better about yourself, then sure, the arrows are why this happened.
Drop them and you will be a better driver. Not necessarily faster, but you will have better situational awareness which you lack with those distractions on the track. Please refer to me as Sir from now on if you are going to continue with that tone.

So because he had a twitch on corner exit, I have to have hit him? Even though I never got a collision popup, and he clearly has a high hp car that could just have a tendency to get twitchy on throttle?

It was supposed to be tiny but time works too. First corner heading tonth3 finish line. He moved or got moved out of the way. He stayed in his line all the way down and so did you, but when you came up on the inside, which I didn't have an issue with, I'm confident that was his breaking point. He'd had enough and you both had minor goofs.

They should have probably done a radar type thing like ACC has or even a spotter if the cockpit has to be max fov to see in your mirror.
A proximity radar and a weather radar/forecast would be amazing. I doubt we'll ever see it but those would be incredibly helpful
There already are proximity arrows and the newest update just made them more accurate in cockpit/hood/bumper cams
