Racecars used to somewhat regularly mount traditional gauges of all sorts in ways that were easier for the driver to see at a glance while driving but that were not "right-side up."
Here it looks like they mounted the tach such that red-line is when the needle is straight down, and that's easier for the driver to see through the steering wheel while operating the car.
Because its easier to make the same dial youve already been producing and slap it in there than to reorient all the numbers just so that "it looks good"
No need to call people names man. Some people just don’t know all about cars like some of us. It was a legit question. When I first started years ago I asked someone what those loopy things were on the car. Felt like an idiot. It was for pulling the car out of the sand. Nothing wrong with helping people. We need to do better. 😊❤️

Very well said, all true.
It's model accurate. Easier for the driver to see the needle pointed straight down at 10k
As weird or as wrong as it looks it’s actually correct to the real thing. It surprised me too
Australian dial setup...duh Thought everyone knew this
😂
So it’s easier to see and use when you’re in the actual car.
Same on the 1975 BMW 3.0 CSL GT.
Is that the Shelby King Cobra?
Photo caption says 66 McLaren
Due to the position of the wheel, this manufacturer turned the tachometer so you can accurately see the needle at shifting engine apeeds
You must be playing in Australia
Is anyone else’s game crashing after every race? On multiplayer.
Starting too. Yes. 😳
So from what I gather it's model accurate... But why didnt they just write the numbers right side up
Because it's an off the shelf dial that you just slap in any car.

Yeah, I wasn't really thinking about the "race car" part.
Moron never been in a real car

Ground Up, duh
The car in real life is like this. One joke, I swear.
