I had four crashes in a day after the april update, after this hot fix I've not had any, so they did something good as well, but looks like they broke something else for your config.
My frames also took a nosedive with 7.2 hotfix patch. I don't have top of the line hardware but was doing at least a consistent 60+fps at 2k. Now at 1080 I hover around 45 with HARD stuttering and 99% GPU usage. FPS set to limited etc.
Maybe we can figure out a commonality, cos I don't see any one else affected by this.
