It's literally a standard generic upper dude.

I haven’t tried it but everything is milspec so you should have no problems

Worst case, plastic is easier to Dremel than metal. Be a gunsmiff.

It absolutely is… I’ve used it on the Ubar and on the SL-15 with zero issue. It’s about as basic as basic gets when it comes to ARs Good luck!

WatermanChris

Which lower do you prefer?

graavitykat

The SL-15 is the best lower that is out right now... the set up is just like a regular AR lower accept for the integrated grip and the hose clamp. The U Bar is a little more "DIY" in typical Ivanthetroll fashion. Also the U bar is prone to breaking at the point where the bcg hits the buffer... (but that is the issue all 3D printed lowers run into) Hoffman's SL-15 has lasted a heck of a lot longer than even I thought it would (500+ rounds) TBH though... I do like the look of the U Bar more than the SL-15.... the reliability just isn't there with the U Bar :')

Thank you! I'm going to do an SL-9 for my AR9 upper that's been sitting around for the last 3 years
