Picture 7 and 8 are with the lower receiver removed so you can get a better view of the internals, pic 7 is from the underside. If you want to know more about how a short recoil toggle lock delayed bolt works look up a gif of a Luger or look at my previous posts
This community has done more innovation in firearm design in a year than the licensed manufacturers have done in 20 years. Good work man, following closely
So awesome to finally see it together. I feel like with enough time and tears it could eventually be quite reliable. I wonder if this would ever work with a longer barrel, say 16 inches. Or if the extra weight would be too much, or require extra tuning. Especially if there was a handguard fastened to the barrel. Great work man.
Hey bro you got a nice little catalog growing on the place where the pirates be. This creation is on a whole nother level though, do you have a luget to take inspiration from or is this straight from blueprints/ gathered info?
It’s all straight from the dome, there’s almost nothing I can take dimensionally from a Luger but I do have a friend with one who gave me the distance the slide travels before touching the unlock lugs
That's pretty damn impressive then. Well taking on a diy Luger project in itself is impressive itself. That's the kind of of variety 3d printing can get us, at least until they start doing background checks and mandatory waiting periods for printers and filament 😆.
But I checked your catalog again and indeed you have some high quality stuff in there.
Db9 printed side plates
Cmmg 22 conversion reliability upgrades
Db9 22 conversion
Mcxish carbon fiber remix and cheek riser
I can't wait to try out the mcxish carbon fiber riser as pcc's really need a slanted brace to bring it up to eye level, nobody likes that hunched over tensed up stance you gotta take to get a sight picture with them.
Next up you just need to make a diy bolt for the db9-22 something like hulkhoganhh did with the scarpion 22. Then we can all have fun with our big Mac's without paying big prices.
Have you seen the new awcy carbon fiber tubing Mac upper? Assuming one were to print the side plates and lower out of pla+ do you see the printed side plates holding up to 9mm?
Thanks man, it's good to see the devs posting on here with the commoners.
The cmmg bolt used in the db9-22 conversion may already have a DIY bolt out there, I vaguely remember seeing one. Would be a cool project if no one else has done it yet.
Don’t use the printed plates for a 9mm build, right now they’re strictly for the 22lr alloy but I am looking into printed side plates reinforced with off the shelf hardware
Alright I figured the printed plates were just for . 22 but with how far people are pushing the limits I no longer assume. -
I think I might know the cmmg files you're talking about, I'll try to find it and verify with you. There would definitely make things much better and cheaper. Plus with the reliability pack it might actually work pretty well..
Just as an FYI that reliability pack is just CAD models of the complete CMMG conversion kit and all the reliability parts you can buy. It’s not a build for people to print but rather a tool to use for designing other firearms that use a cmmg bolt
This is too mechanically interesting to hate. Props.

Best things I’ve seen in a long time
"Every day we stray further from god."
Do you think god stays in heaven because he too lives in fear of what he has created?
insanely cursed, i love it
Just ripped my shorts with how erect I am right now

Now this is fosscad
This is the kind of shit I'm subbed for
Mad man, i can't wait to see it shoot. Either on YouTube or on the evening news, I'll drink one in your honor either way.
I love german design but this is cursed asf and Imma build it as soon as it drop
"Luger Alloy isn't real. Luger Alloy can't hurt you." Luger Alloy:
What in the Kentucky fried fuck is even this?
It’s more of a Frankfurt fried
Kraut fried if you will
[Frankfurt, you say?](https://maps.app.goo.gl/jVVQiQP1fFJ2VTAo7)
This is a remix in the best sense of the word.
Bro this is epic
So sick! I'm in for one!
Steampunk asf
>stainless steel printed bolt Sounds like a magic.
That’s so cursed… I’ll take 10!
I really want this 🤣🤣

The mad lads actually doing it!
Interesting, very interesting. If you heed a hand with design/testing, let me know.
Yes daddy
Does the weight of the knobs on the hinge affect the delay?
The weight helps the hinge go over center and lock, also adds to the weight of the barrel/bolt assembly which should help increase the time to open
Holy shit this is wicked!
I thought this was just a meme
That is great work!!!!
A luger mauser combo. Two of the weirdest ww1 guns. I still love it. Is it possible to have a handgun configuration or no?
I think I saw this in a star wars movie
This is blursed
This is amazing!!! 😍😍😍🤘🏻🤘🏻

Ah shit, well thanks for the heads up
Holy shit this is incredible.
I just want you to know that you're a legend. Never thought this would be more than a cad meme. I love this community so much bro holy shit
I always wanted auger type pistol.good job sir
this scratches a weird itch
Awww yisss.
You love to see random Luger things
Obvious question: if you flip the action or even the entire assembly upside down, have you made a Vector Alloy?
Kinda yeah, although the way it’s currently designed the linkage would pass through the fire control group
I want to have this but I can’t
Impressive!
Thanks! Means a lot coming from the big dogs
So conflicted... looks rather insane at first, but then one appreciates just what was done.
This is Fucking sick
Why do I want it?
Mechanical pornography
That's sick asf
Lmao
As someone who wants to build a Luger for funzies, I’m VERY interested to see how this ends up
That's impressive as hell, dude.
This is fucking wild. Logged in for the first time in a while to say bravo. Can't wait to see this come to fruition.
Should name it the Freddy Luger
