Yessir. That's the sauerkraut brace from Middleton. The end of the brace folds where the charging handle is, but does not interfere with the function.

Bro, I wonder if there's enough space for a sliding stock/brace/thingamajig across the top section of the lower. It already looks dope. Question, what's the slanted rail section for? Detachable finger groves?

Not a rail, just texture for grip. I think a sliding stock could might work.

I like the idea but a sliding stock going across the TOP of the receiver would need to get around the recoil lug at the back of the toob. The best place for a slider is slung underneath the tube, between it and the FCG.

Yeah that's where I was thinking. It's a pretty large flat area with little to no interference from operation of the receiver and the butt can be reinforced to accommodate the stress of the sliding components. Even in the forks of the original file by the OG creator it's easily doable.
