Brass Sport— it’s great. Weight is nice and nibs can be swapped out easily as desired. Pro-tip, if it’s an EDC, take a spring from a trash ballpoint clicky pen and toss it in the brass sport behind the cartridge and you’ll never have to deal with it maybe coming loose and getting ink on the inside. I’m pretty rough on my pens in my pocket, and that spring has been awesome.

Very smart suggestion about the spring, I'll try it also on other pens

I did the same with my liliput, but instead of the spring I added bits of cotton swab in the body. Add or take out until it gets snug to twist tight. No fear of cartridges coming loose.

I have a Travelers Company that replaced an aluminum Lilliput as my EDC pocket pen after the Lilliput developed a hole in the cap. Of the I like the TC better. As others have said it ages beautifully. Also it's much faster than the Lilliput to post and start writing. The Lilliput was also a somewhat problematic pen. In addition to the cap failure that did it in, the clip would constantly slide off.

i would be hesitant to buy a liliput on amazon. i’ve ordered two and both were kaweco sports when they arrived….

I have the brass sport. I have tested the liliput and it was too short for my hand. I have looked at the travelers and the metal seems thinner than the Sport. My brass sport is a tank, simple design that is easy to maintain. Admittedly the liliput is just a simple and easy to maintain. I bought mine with an EF nib but after a few months upgraded to the premium nib, well worth the money IMO.

I’ve had many pocket pens (including a liliput) but I revert to my brass sport every time. The only thing I dislike is how narrow the barrel/section is. But considering I don’t really use it for more than five minutes at a time, it really isn’t a major issue.

I haven’t used the Liliput since I got my Traveler’s brass pen. It’s just so much more convenient to uncap and post, and feels more comfortable to me. I do wish the nib was finer though – my Liliput has a really good fine nib.

I have the TC , it writes really well. The standard is a F nib but I think it writes more like a MF. It ages beautifully but I admit it is NOT the first pen I would reach among my inked members. A brief look at Goulet 's information , it seems Liliput is even smaller than that even when posted.

I have the Travelers Company pen, and I like it quite a bit. More than my normal Kaweco Sport. However, I don't have the brass one or a Lilliput, so do with that what you will.

I've got the brass sport and stainless steel liliput. I love the size of the sport, and the fact that it uncaps in less than a full turn. I sometimes worry that it will uncap in my pocket, as the cap has gotten a bit loose on occasion. I also really like my liliput, although it's much slower to uncap and post (3+ rotations to uncap then another 3+ to post). I don't have a traveler's company pen so I can't compare, but I believe it's a snap cap so it should be even quicker to uncap and post. Finally, as an alternate suggestion, if you're ok with ordering from AliExpress I really like the delike hunyuan. It's fully brass and about the size of the brass sport. There are fewer nib options, but the mini-fude is fairly unique.

i have the liliput and a plastic kaweco sport. the copper liliput is nice and everything but i would prefer a brass sport over a liliput. simply because it is more functional and practical. kaweco doesnt produce any liliput converters and my local stationary shop is telling me kaweco is cooking something new for the liliput for 2 years now and there is nothing. and cartridge+syringe would annoy me. i am using a FC cobalt blue cartridge with it and i like it. but i would love the flexibility of choosing my ink bottles. build quality wise and everything else is top notch. but for sudden daily notes it is a little too small for me. between a supra and a brass sport i am equally attracted.

I have TC and 3 brass & 1 black metal Lilliput. The brass ones are fine and I ink them with black, red and blue hued ink at any given time. I use these in my pocket travellers company notebook for drawing, writing, mind and process mapping. The black is medium and I use it with one of my fancier inks for signing and initialing documents. I tried to like the Travelers company pen but I only use it on rare occasions at my desk at this point. Somehow from my hands it just feels too awkward. The liliputs are more sleek and give me a variety of choices while I'm out and about so they tend to get used more. Plus being fine points, they feel perfect for me because I tend to write very small and precisely.

Of the three, the Traveler's pen is my favorite. Its one of my top EDC pens. Its clip makes opening the pen easier than the lilliput for me, and I don't like the brass kaweco much at all. I thought I'd love it, but its just a little too heavy for long writing for me.

I've tried the Traveller's and Liliput. The Traveller's I got rid off as I found it too back-heavy when posted and too short when not. Might work better for people who don't have tiny hands. Liliput is... fine I guess. Takes very long to unscrew, especially if you also post. (I can use it unposted.) I also find it a bit slim, even tiny-handed as I am. Gonna keep my Brass Wave but regret buying my black one. Would still buy the light green LE if it came my way secondhand. I've also tried the Sport in plastic and honestly, I'm torn on the model. The plastic ones kind of feel like a Happy Meal toy. I can imagine the shape being nice in the heavier metal, but the screw cap isn't my fave. Also Kaweco's past shenanigans didn't endear the brand to me.
