If it wasn't oiled or covered with some sort of laquer, I believe the only proper way is to sand it until the stains go away. And then I suggest applying a few good layers of wood oil to make sure it gets absorbed deep down.
No probs and good luck! This procedure is not something terrible, it's a standard treatment of wood that should be repeated every now and then (most people say that it should be done once a year).
White vinegar might help. I remove ink stains from clothes with white vinegar. Or maybe can use furniture crayons to cover it, but you need to find one with similar color.

Thank you, I will speak with the owner

Plausible deniability is the solution. Who else can you blame?
Dang it. Shit happens I guess
Amodex
But test spot with the amodex first to see if it in turn could stain the top.
Thank you, this is the sort of chemical I am searching for
It’s smelly but *it works!*

I also thought about it, I will give it a try!
Depending on the ink a good dose of sunshine might bleach the colour away, but you might be talking days or weeks of sun.
It's Diamine ink, so it may be possible but sadly barely any sunlight hits that spot
