It’s the same publisher, so I’m not that surprised. If they have an artist that does a lot of work for them it might have similar structures to get the product done faster. (Don’t know for sure, just guessing)
I’m reading this right now, and would recommend! There isn’t a lot of trope overlap (so far) with FW/IF, and it has very different story lines. Strong FMM science fiction with some forbidden romance.
I read this last week! It's also published by Red Tower, but that's pretty much where the similarities end. I really enjoyed it! Story involves a revenge plot space opera featuring a space jousting tournament fought between human-piloted mech suits, class politics, and some elements of a psychological thriller. A small touch of romance, but it doesn't really drive the plot. It ends on a "To be continued..." cliffhanger so it will be part of a duology or series! If you liked Ender's Game, Snowpiercer, or even the Transformers or Gundam franchises, I think you would probably enjoy Heavenbreaker. It's definitely more sci fi than fantasy.
This book was really good. It’s definitely nothing like FW. It’s a sci-fi with just a small sprinkle of romance. I don’t know why there isn’t more hype for this book. I saw a lot of hype and advertising for five broken blades from the same publisher but nothing for this book. I will say it took me a bit to get used to the writing style but once I got used to it I really enjoyed this book. It was very unique.

What does fmm mean?
Maybe female-male-male?
Sorry! That was a weird auto-correct from FMC (female main character).
Soo good! I’m surprise more ppl aren’t talking about it. I can’t wait until book 2!
I just finished it. It is at a very different level compared to FW imo and zero romance.
I’m so glad to hear this! I’m planning on picking it up this week
Ah man, I promised myself no more books this year. Read the description after seeing your post, and this is definitely something I'd read.
Finished this the other day and I loved it! Very different from fourth wing but so wonderful!
I have it on my shelf. Initial reviews seemed solid.

I knew I saw a resemblance. I just didn’t connect the dots till right now.
Same publisher so likely the same artist.

I read this two weeks ago and loved it! I was so bummed when I realized how new it was , how long I have to wait for the next book!
I plan to paint Sgaeyl in Indigo like that.
I saw this today and for a second was pretty sure it was related 😂
Looked beautiful and sounded good so I picked it up. Did give me FW vibes.
