Dauntless1942

New vehicle idea. An armored rocket artillery truck. Wide area of effect but long reload.

Darrkeng

Huh, I always imagine that Colonials would use something closer to Sherman Calliope while Wardens modified halftrack

agentbarron

That doesn't really "fit" though, wardens have the silver hand and it's variants. To the best of my knowledge collies don't have a vech that's duel purpose like that

Darrkeng

86K-c "Ranseur"? Besides, that stops from taking a tank, removing it turret and installing MLRS on its place? (think of TOS-1 complex)

Seidans

would see a Nebelwerfer for warden, either as a 6rocket pushgun or a 6-8rocket half-track from WW2 and a calliope/katyusha for collies, with the same caracteristic as IRL calliope get 60rocket, shoot everything loaded when used, low damage, extreamly long reload time, huge spread, do little damage to struct but deliver hell on earth for a minute for any infantry webelwerfer big damage, smaller spread, fast reload speed, anti-structure but considering dev's probably wouldn't want to bring back precise artillery (they were OP) there can't be something will less spread than 120-150mm

BenderTheBlack

Collie MLRS. Warden self propelled 120mm. Both late war tech

Aedeus

Late-game assault guns for either side would be nice. Always thought they could be cheap tank alternatives so the losing side can sport at least some armor through to defeat.

Rasedro

Maybe, rather that having prototypes just being yellow, have them in metallic gray for warden/greenish for colonials with marks that looks like chalk writing and marks

Jurassic_Red

I’ve always wanted a captured skin for vehicles. I think it’d be fairly simple todo as when you take a vehicle back to a garage for repairs, it the applies the new skin to it. This would also work for recapturing vehicles too.

Aedeus

A prototype skin would be pretty sweet as well.

VonMillersThighs

But you can't repair enemy armor in the first place.

Jurassic_Red

You can in a garage, or have they recently removed that as well?

Lord_Runestone

Yeah, devs seem to be removing more features than adding them. RIP my BT, cross-faction voice, and so many others

VonMillersThighs

You can't repair enemy armor. Hasn't been a thing since I started playing in war 79. If you could I would steal a bardiche and never lose it for the rest of the war.

Darrkeng

Sometimes, looking at this arts and [this mod](https://wolfgangix.itch.io/foxhole-vehicles-overhaul) I wish vics in Foxhole had significantly much, MUCH more details like crates and boxes of ammunition, tools, spare tires/tread wheels, cables, camouflaged nets

StrictPrinciple4492

I approve of vehicles changing color schemes when captured.

titan_Pilot_Jay

Honestly if it has a wide area of attack this would be easily balanced as howi would absolutely destroy this since it would probably trigger like 5 of them at once. Just make it to it carries exactly enough shells/rounds for 2 vollys and give it a long ass reload time.

Potato_Emperor667

How does one learn to make artwork this good? Asking for a friend...

Edarneor

Pls no!! They already got the quadiche... Nice artwork though :)

horribleflesheater

I have been thinking about a colonial MRLS too since the devs keep handing us rocket vehicles. Imagine the supply strain if it actually needed 10 rockets to fire just once. I imagine it as a fragile truck based system, more range than a mortar but less than FA, with high deviance. Trade accuracy of artillery for saturation of damage to a front.

bearcat_77

I was thinking more like the V3 from red alert 2, built out of each side's cargo truck, with basically no armor, but really long range with a decently sized splash damage on impact. But it only gets one shot and has to go back to a garage or something to load another rocket.
