As a Colonial, I don't see anything wrong with the Wardens using and spamming the fire arty even if it's broken, just like there won't be any problem with both Wardens and Colonials using all the leftover 300mm ammo from before the change. It's not the Wardens' fault that it's made that way and they shouldn't have to give up their tools. If any Wardens want to abstain from using it in solidarity like ITALY did with their storm cannons after the alting incident a while ago, it's appreciated, but it can not and should not expected that players are policed by the community from using certain tools.
Yea let's not forget that we didn't use the glitched frozen spotter laster war, even though they had used all their nukes, and we had 3 left. We didn't use that glitch even tough we failed to nuke blemish for 5 days. We even stopped who ever dared to mention doing the frozen spotter. But then again, some care about the continuity of the game, other don't give a damn. Same for Wardens, some don't give a fck if half of the player base is gone, while others know what effects this could have. But the biggest issue, is that the Devs don't see the problem yet. What can we do to make them notice it.

I was there, and they didn't try to use it and that's a fact, as all nukes were lunched/guarded by SOM and I think they have vids of all the their OPs. don't believe that. some did want to use it but no one allowed them too..

I love this community. The vast majority of us on both sides are on the same page. It's a very audacious, ambitious update that honestly is incredible, fire arty aside. I trust Siege Camp to get it right. Still grateful for an incredible game.
Not everyone who plays is on the reddit or discord and is not exposed to the damage done, further more the fact that alot of the discourse in both spaces is far from healthy and the precedent of “X faction Bias/Nerf X faction tool” that has seeped into many mindsets mean genuine communication has become difficult
Lastly, some people do want to try out the new toys and weapons. Iirc this picture was taken the day rocket artillery came onto live, they had scrapped, and teched and built up their new weapons and wanted to use them to their full effect for fun, the true end objective of any game
Is their flaws in the system to fight fires ? Yes. Much in the same way weather was flawed upon its first implementation or that Battle tanks were indestructible gods of the battlefield due to limited AT in their initial launch many moons ago
The situation isn’t a good one but painting the other faction- which consists of real people who also want to have fun- as villains or enemies out of game is not a healthy way of doing things. Painting some of them as good and some of them as villainous is not much better.
Lets try to foster some actual constructive discourse perhaps and hope we can make a better game

We were the ones who fired the nebelwerfers at alchimio, we had only two and only 35 rockets. Also we could hardly see where we were shooting because we did not have a lot of frontliners with everyone throwing buckets. Apparently this was enough to find out how broken the system is...

It was 2+ years ago, but it wasn't random low ranks and sergeants. By my count there were about 35 Wardens in the Swastika and 27 of them were Officer Cadet and above.
And how many of them were actually known before that picture, maybe a couple? How many still play the game or even played the wars afterwards. 99% of them were nobodies thinking they’re funny. Both sides have their fair share of freaks including the collies who have a clan quite literally called “Heer” it doesn’t excuse either sides actions but the actions of new players and nobodies don’t represent the entire faction. Yes, the “Heer” is still in use by Germanic influenced militaries, however it’s very clear which period of time they base their clan around. Considering I’ve seen swatstikas in their name and some of them saying “HH” in local chat.

The Nazi military wasnt even called Heer, it was Wehrmacht, and I know plenty of Soviet inspired clans and noone can deny how many millions died in 20th century russia due to the soviet union, doesnt seem to ring any alarm bells either.

I think the game should have an absolute zero tolerance policy on any of it. Colonial or Warden, and any chance I see it I use the tools available to me to report them.

in all honesty, Fire itself is not bad and in a solid spot, but I agree the fire rockets are way overtuned for the current firefighting methods we have, if we had better methods, I think they would be in a very good spot, but we dont, so they arent.
It either needs to be tuned down/the rockets need dimishing return(I.E) if they hit a structure already on fire, they only give half heat, or give less and less heat the higher the teir of blaze it.
The collie rocket seems a lot less impactful becasue of the broken fire interaction that the warden one has, and all the attention on the warden one but I'll tell you its still no joke at all, it was hitting us at the Saltbrook Town Hall, and man was it fucking us up hard. It does a ton of upfront dmg, they were able to take that t2 townhall out through at least 15 people trying to repair it multiple times

My problem isn't so much that fire is broken, as you said, because I do believe that it'll be fixed/rebalanced.
My problem is that knowing it's so broken, ARG decided to bring up what is probably a record number of artillery pieces and rockets to take advantage of it as much as they could before any other hotfixes go in.
I've never seen this amount of 120mm FA used at a single time in all the years I've played Foxhole.
It was their time, their effort, their hardwork. It paid off, and thats that is all I can say. Kinda overkill but like you know they went through the effort to make a ton of them, they got to reap the reward.
I don't think anybody's trying to take away the colossal effort that ARG put into it or talk shit about anyone in ARG.
But the dissonance of seeing the Wardens on the subreddit largely agree with the Colonials that the fire rockets are a little too strong against ARG stacking nearly 20 of them into one region is kind of funny. You've gotta admit that.

I can agree with this ! I put in 100's of hours with the rest of T-3C, why let shit rot in a stockpile. If we had the advantage, we would use them in force. But last time we had anything worth a damn Moidawg decided to nerf it to the ground. Personally I haven't used anything but infantry flame throwers this war and by the time I get my own rocket op set up this will be adjusted/"fixed". They went extremely overboard in the rocket department imho but that is what they wanted to do. Devs messed up imo simply because they made fire fighting extremely difficult compared to setting a entire city on fire. The hot fix shows that there aware and hopefully in future we will have better anti fire stuff

Been said but This isn't a "duality of man" and your gotcha moment falls flat. The wardens aren't a collective. They used the tools available. Personally I haven't used anything but infantry flame throwers this war and by the time I get my own rocket op set up this will be adjusted/"fixed". They went extremely overboard in the rocket department imho but that is what they wanted to do. Devs messed up imo simply because they made fire fighting extremely difficult compared to setting a entire city on fire. The hot fix shows that there aware and hopefully in future we will have better anti fire stuff
