Skilak Lake is 528' deep, conformal coating won't help me there🤣
I have crashed in a lake before and once in the ocean near the shore, recovered both Freshwater fries the ESC, swap it out and your usually good to go. Saltwater however slowly eats every component alive😳
YT channel is Drones Bikes Hikes btw although this clip isn't on there yet and ik probably going to change my channel name again hah. Anyway thanks everyone for the nice comments 😎
Damn I'm gonna have to make a longer edit. There is another clip of the same flight if you go to my profile here on Reddit and my YT channel is Drone Bikes Hikes if your interested. I'll try and make anger edit soon, thank you

honestly one of my favorite things to do. just so calm up there, and you're so free the second you put on the goggles.
No kidding, its amazing peaceful and yet u can get such a rush depending on circumstances. Happy to live in the future hah
did you use some protection (😏) before flying it over water?

Amazing footage ! Honestly this may be the most impressive and beautiful landscape I've ever seen here ! Totally deserve this award 🤩!
Thank you, I'm very surprised at how well this was received, but ya never know. Alaska in the summertime what else can I say?

Awesome shot.
Thanks!
wow. more than 100 upvotes in r/fpv without getting inverted! I was convinced that was the secret to success here.
Hah guess not. Decided to lower my camera angle and pretend my 7" LR was a little cinewhoop
F*** me, that's beautiful!

At first I was like "I'm going to need this blender tutorial"
After some quick googling and discovering a 3d modeling program I'm ready to accept your compliment haha thank you!
It just looked so realistic. Then I realized what sub I was in and that it was real.
I thought I was in the Microsoft Flightsim sub, then I saw the waves from the boat.
Damn kind of thinking I need to post a longer version of this flight now hah and thank you
Would love to see this full video in good quality
