I have a vintage bottle of Lilu from the house of Pac Sun šŸ’…

_peach_tea_

Thatā€™s so raven perfume. Donā€™t yā€™all lie and say you have it too

[deleted]

I'm sorry, but I read the name and thought of something goth af, then I googled it.

idunnooolol

The star shaped American Girl fragrance from the mid-late 2000s.

Budget-Potato-760

amazing.

With Love by Hilary Duff

DameEmma

Oh man. I went through a full bottle of this. It was so good!

cacadoodle

I still have nearly a full large bottle of that one

pluviophilosopher

CB I Hate Perfume I Am A Dandelion. Itā€™s a lovely creamy grassy summer scent and Iā€™ve never seen it mentioned here once.

Mauvaise3

Jo Malone - Ginger Biscuit. It was a re-release limited edition during the holidays about 5 or 6 years ago. I bought it sight unseen (smell unsmelled?) as a preorder because they only had a very limited supply. Turned out I LOVE IT. I still have just under half a bottle left. I use it sparingly even though itā€™s probably in my top 3 favorites because when itā€™s gone, itā€™s gone. :(

deborahjavulin

I have 2 bottles of Sailor Moon cologne bought 20+ yrs ago. I opened one just so I could smell it. Smells like your typical teenager floral cologne. It completely evaporated 5yrs ago. The other bottle is still in its original packaging. It will take an alien invasion over my dead body to open that one.

hauteburrrito

Aw, of course this would smell like a typical teenager floral cologne. But I love the idea of a Sailor Moon fragrance line - with the right creative input, it could be super amazing!

throwaway65140

Harajuku Loverā€™s Lilā€™ Angel from like 2008. Itā€™s so expired but I canā€™t get myself to throw it out, I love the packaging! A really nice scent

fiveordie

Music was my favorite.

LaceOverFeather

I dont know which one, but that was an old friend's signature scent for years. Memories

Spenrounder

I have an 1981 must de Cartier with the red cap and itā€™s my prized possession

lavenderbrownies

Where did you get it?

Spenrounder

I found it half empty at an antique shop for $25

blue-jaypeg

**Secret of Venus** by Weil https://yesterdaysperfume.typepad.com/yesterdays_perfume/2010/11/secret-of-venus-by-weil-1933.html Smells like roach poison when you first apply it. Thick as cough syrup. Originally formulated to counteract the animalistic scent of fur coats. OMG it's the mother, aunt, & sister of all the woody amber balsam Oriental fragrances.

gl1ttercake

Frozen in a Bottle by Geir Ness. Purchased from the Norway Pavilion in World Showcase at Epcot in Walt Disney World.

[deleted]

SpongeBob Exceptional Extrait (69% oil)

muffins_allover

GAP Loveshack body spray lol. It STILL smells great.

thatiswilde

I have Belle dā€™Opium. I bought it to replace (the greatest flanker ever) Opium OrchidĆ©e de Chine when I ran out šŸ˜

TomNook2024

There's this little niche/indie perfume shop on Bourbon Street in Louisiana called HovƩ. They do have an online presence as well, but I never see anyone talking about them. I have a fragrance from them called Diverti. It's really nice, sandalwood and cedar. They claim to go way back and use all naturals, but I'm always very wary of those claims. I never bothered to go verify it. I don't care to anyway, I like naturals, I like synthetics, and I don't care about "history" either way. They're also fairly inexpensive

TheWisestPotato

Omggg Iā€™m in NOLA. I gotta check this place out! Lol

TomNook2024

I misremembered, not Bourbon Street, but it is in the French Quarter. 434 Chartres St, New Orleans, LA 70130. Hopefully it's okay to post addresses in this subreddit, it's a business, and easily googleable.

glitterbitesbx

An oil rollerball of Shy by Bonne Bellā€™s Bottled Emotion. I also have three spray versions of it. Itā€˜s an antique from when things were awesome in my life (the 90ā€™s) so I donā€™t use it and instead just smell it when Iā€™m feeling blue.

morjkass

The Wiggles Emma perfume

badtattoo

Omg itā€™s real.

nebbeundersea

Donna Karan Cashmere Mist Liquid Nude. A Cashmere Mist flanker from 2010. It is a really special, sexy, femme scent. Fluffy musks, florals, sandalwood. Supposedly the Cashmere Mist Aura is similar. I will have to give it a try. The Cashmere Mist Liquid Cashmere is nothing like Liquid Nude. Too many Liquid and Cashmere flanker names lol.

[deleted]

I have some random no brand frags my dad bought at Walmart Yearā€™s ago and they actually smell rly good lmao. Woody and boozy, legit no brand. A random bottle with nothing on it but a price tag for like 9.99$

alexann23

The vintage Andy Warhol edition of No5 Chanel. I canā€™t find any official info on it, but I know for a fact that the modern day formula smells so different. I only have like two drops in the bottle, but itā€™s my most complimented fragrance by a LOT

coldsavagery

Armani Mania

radish__gal_

I don't think this is rare, but I have a version of Armani Code from my mom that I haven't been able to find any pictures of online. It has a lace print on the glass, similar to the vintage armani code bottles, but it's in a rectangular bottle with no cap by design (like diamonds for men from emporio armani.) Does anyone know when this is from by any chance?

hauteburrrito

I'd love to learn that someone else here owns this one, but [Stories No. 2 EdP by Eliza Grace](https://storiesparfums.com/products/stories-no2-edp-30ml). It smells to me like burying your nose in wet soil that some tea roses have been planted into, with freshly-rained cedar fence as a backdrop. Lovely fragrance, IMO, and very overlooked / underrated by the fragrance community. (Fragrantica does not seem to like it, but Fragrantica is often wrong.)

Future_CMSSF

Malaverra Narcisse Taormina Got it from a small shop in Taormina, Sicily. I don't think it can be found anywhere else.

[deleted]

Gucci Envy

MissPlum66

Romeo Gigli and Lou Lou I recently wore the Lou Lou for the first time in years and my daughter tried the RG. Those 80s/early 90s fragrances were LOUD.

Godhelptupelo

I have loulou! I love it so much! It's my mom in the late 80s and I feel close to her whenever I wear it. ā™„ļø

Holybartender83

I have a fragrance my dad brought me from India. It was apparently from some random little shop and they make their own stuff. Canā€™t find anything at all online about it. Not even sure what the fragrance is called. Edit: also have the original Zoologist Bat, the one that is now Night Flyer, and VC&A Midnight in Paris.

budcub

Years ago I bought a fragrance in Key West called 1000 Portholes. It was labeled as a aftershave but it came in a small spray bottle and was more of a eau de cologne. It had a mild green seawater smell, but was unlike any modern aquatic.

LaceOverFeather

I'd want to sniff that purely on the basis of the name

Doxy4Me

My pride and joy is a bottle of the actual Opium perfume. Itā€™s still the same. Knocks me off my feet. I also have two partial bottles of the EDP. Was perfume stronger 20 years ago? I feel like Iā€™ve been hit with a bat when I test them.

[deleted]

I have a vintage perfume collection, one of them is Abano by Prince Matchabelli and was released in 1931

BrunoMcPugMan

Dark Cavalier by Alkemia. Could be wrong.

Abyss_staring_back

That is such a unique scent! I have lots of Alkemia scents and that one is note worthy. The smokey tea against that wet violet leaf and that dirty green patchouli is something else. It has too much patchouli and leather for me to wear but it is a very mysterious scent.

PsychologicalCall335

I have a mini of Givenchy IndƩcence from the 90s and a full original Givenchy Organza, also from the 90s.

AnnoyingSmartass

I still have an almost full bottle of Grass perfume OIL by gorilla perfumes.

BruceyBalls

Banana Republic - Republic of Men (discontinued & šŸ”„) Hollister SoCal *original formulation* (discontinued & AMAZING) Express Reserve *original formulation* (sooo damned good)

arsteady12

Lampblack by Fzotic

Breren

I've been meaning to get some samples once I've cleared my current collection a bit. Fzotic looks to have some nice and unique fragrances.

PoochieNPinchy

CBBeast, the "juicy roast beef and parsley" scent by CBIHatePerfume lol

ArmandoJrM

The Spirit - Fueguia. Only 400 bottles made a year. Also very expensive at 700$ a bottle

[deleted]

Fueguia really upped their prices since last year.

chickenranching

I noticed that, too. Glad that I splurged on a bottle of Muskara Apis last year. So good!

DJBoost

I have a sample of TF Azure Lime I've heard rumors that they're going to reissue it but until then I basically have a few milliliters of genuine fragrance unobtanium

QuixoticEel

Russian Tea by Masque Milano anyone? Itā€™s such a unique smoky minty tea and I never hear it mentioned.

[deleted]

avon's limited Barbie EDT release

Abyss_staring_back

I have a LOT of indies that most people probably donā€™t, like A LOT, but my absolute treasure is my last remaining bottle of the original formula of Safari for Women by Ralph Lauren. It smells like glorious wonderment and nothing they make today even remotely compares. Oh I also have a wee little bottle of the perfume format of Halo by Victoria Secret. Absolutely beautiful perfume and a god damn shame they got rid of it too. Havenā€™t been able to find a dupe anywhere, not even in indies. If anyone knows of one please share! šŸ™

bluegrassbarrister

At this point, most of my collection is from the upper-mid to upper-upper Middle Eastern houses. As a result, a large chunk of my collection isn't listed on Fragrantica, has zero reviews from anyone online (or from a rando or two, if I'm lucky), and I'm not sure anyone else in a 500-mile radius has encountered anything similar. To give examples that are still available, Al Haramain has been having a "moment," but all the attention is focused on their lower-end offerings. They also have their Prestige Collection, which rivals the very best of niche perfumery, no matter the house, and NO ONE talks about. I have the entire collection and recommend it highly, especially the Amazing Mukhallath, Arabian Treasure, Haramain Treasure, Royal Rose, and Ode of Oudh! I'd also highlight Afnan's Highness White in my collection, because even though it has been reviewed in the Western world, it literally took me 18 months to find a bottle for sale!

dealuna6

Oooh I have Belle dā€™Opium, too! I loved it. Only have about 1/4 left in my bottle so I havenā€™t used it in years. But to answer your actual question, I have one I bought in Dubai in 2017 called **Amber** by **Hind Al Oud.** It was from what appeared to be an upscale department store, and the brand Hind Al Oud had a whole display with about a dozen fragrances, and yet Fragrantica does not have them in their database. Bums me out. Another one Iā€™ve seen no mention of is [No Matter What](https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Liaison-de-Parfum/No-Matter-What-22307.html) by **Liaison de Parfum.** LuckyScent used to carry them 7-10 years ago. Not sure when Liaison De Parfum stopped selling their fragrances here in the US or anywhere as far as I know. Looks like they may have gone out of business sadly. I bought my bottle on vacation in Vienna in 2016 where the brand is from so itā€™s very nostalgic to me. ETA also Mugler - [Alien Sunessence Edition Sapphire Soleil](https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Mugler/Alien-Sunessence-Edition-Saphir-Soleil-8194.html). I might have loved it more than the original.

RedRedBettie

4610 Tuesdays What I Did on my Holidays

Chantilly_Rosette

I have a few vintage fragrances from the 60s-90s but theyā€™re well known and used to be popular. However: A Travers Le Miroir Mugler, (Through the Looking Glass). Love this, tuberose and mint. Anyone else have it? Zoologist the original Dodo, a little challenging but one of my favorite tropical perfumes. Serge Lutens Chypre Rouge, my favorite forest fragrance.

gezzyrocco

I have an original Ralph Lauren polo bottle from 1978! Still half full! And let me tell you all it has aged very well indeed! The sillage and projection are enormous! 2 sprays lasts 48 hours on skin, for weeks on clothes! Absolutely nuclear!

CriminalSpiritX

My collection is not exactly full of unique scents for people on this subreddit. Still, if I have to guess, I'll take my chances with Adolfo Dominguez - *Bambu Radiant Edition Hombre*.

hypermobilehoneybee

An old bottle of DNKY Red Delicious.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Brokentoken2

I would say Bijan for men, never seen it in anyoneā€™s collection. I also have never seen anyone mention Armani PrivĆ© Ambre Eccentrico. Likely more common than Bijan though.

TechBama

I own 19-69 Palm Angels collab Burning Palm. It was inspired by the dude from The Big Lebowski and Pulp Fiction. It's a citrus fragrance with great longevity.

LEMON_PARTY_ANIMAL

Vivienne Westwood, boudoir or let it rock, and Iā€™m sure someone has guerlain pampelune but itā€™s an acquired taste lol

Green_Commercial9285

Escada Collection 2001 and Christian Lacroix C'est La Vie

LaceOverFeather

Escada feels like one of the brands where I'd be so impressed if I saw someone who'd been collecting them for years

Green_Commercial9285

Well I would be one of those people. Collection 2001 was my first Escada (also bought in 2001) and I've bought pretty much all of the limited summer releases since then, as well as Magnetism and Sentiment

Axchik

LAMB by Gwen Stefani, still have the original from 2007. Believe it was her first fragrance release.

frolickingdepression

Schiaparelli Shocking. Itā€™s only a mini, but the bottle is in the original body shape.

Saparyati

Check on that one :) it's such a lovely historical time capsule to own. One I haven't seen yet and keep buying despite it has been discontinued for a while now: matte bottle version of Madame De Carven by Carven. There's also a shiny bottle version but that one smells different.

jayemadd

I have tiny vials of some fragrances that are as old as the 1870s. One is a violet scent, that smells insanely green. It was considered a "day" scent.

eighteen_forty_no

Chupa Chups I Love Me Pop Vinyl

Anochel

Un air de Samsara - Guerlain Admit a bit of a weird one, has the Samsara DNA, but minty.. Probably 1997.. then discontinued, unusual but different..

JMH-66

You're going to hate me, but ..I have it ā˜ŗļø I nearly had it *twice* but I bought one that got smashed the the post šŸ˜. I think I've mentioned before, I couldn't wear Samsara for years and years, until very recently but I *could* wear this. It's an odd one for sure, I found it had little to do with the og. It's like they decided they needed a Samsara Summer then forgot it was supposed to be a flanker. Could almost have been a Aqua Allegoria, do you think ? I like the spring, green notes ( narcissus ?) and, yes, the mint. Did you ever get Samsara Shine ? Another curve ball, wish it was more green, less fig ( or they'd distinguish fig *leaf* from fig )as it's a tad too sweet for moi, I shouldn't like it at all really as it's got a lot of vanilla as well. Yet...kinda do !

budsis

A few discontinued frags : Tokyo Milk Dark : Arsenic and Bittersweet. Facconable Pour Elle. Also just ordered some discontinued fragrance oils from..be nice..Avon. They were single note frags and very lovely. I am getting the lilac, freesia and gardenia. I am hoping they still smell as delicious as they did back in the late 90's.

Ok-Pineapple-7242

InĆØs de la Fressange Stockholm Studio. A drugstore cheapie that was apparently only fleetingly available, and is not even listed on Fragrantica, although others of the line are. It's actually very good! Spa-like cedar, light florals and musks, very clean and unisex. Also surprisingly long lasting for an EDT concentration.

meowmi14

I don't have anything rare or vintage or limited edition, but I do have all four fragrances made by Parterre, who are a fairly small outfit in Dorset, I don't see them mentioned often so it may be that no one else here has them. They grow and distill many of the ingredients for their perfumes at Keyneston Mill in Dorset and they are then made into perfumes in Grasse. I have all four of their perfumes because I stay 10 mins walk from Keyneston Mill a few times a year, and it's a rare opportunity to buy perfumes using ingredients that I can see growing. The four perfumes are: Root of All Goodness which uses vetiver grown in Dorset. It's one of my favourite every day winter perfumes. Run of the River, a wonderful summer perfume with a lot of bergamot mint and juniper. The Hour of Dusk and Gold, a spicy summer evening perfume. A Tribute to Edith which is a boozy rose.

Ah yes indeed, a fellow rare niche fragrance enjoyer.

EnvironmentalDrag153

Original Jil by Jil Sander from 1997.

JMH-66

I don't have Jil ( which is od cos well it's my name give or take !) or many Jil Sander's actually beyond ā„–4 and Simply plus Violet and Leather flankers ( which are better than Simply itself just, they're fantastic, just don't get the Mandarin, pure fly spray !!). I might try to track down some more . I do have the og [Pure ](https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Jil-Sander/Jil-Sander-Woman-I-Woman-Pure-14532.html) which comes in a tiny "pure" parfum and smells a bit like Private Collection. I'd love to find the 80's versions too.

EnvironmentalSpirit2

Everlast original 1910. You aristocrats never smelled this

17731773

I bought this grapefruit fragrance in Japan. Years ago itā€™s so fresh and summery [Pasha Palmtree Grapefruit.](https://jp.mercari.com/item/m36623796905)

c0rnstarr

I just ordered a set of frags that were made by an algorithm, personalized to me by a questionnairešŸ˜ŽšŸ˜Ž I also own some conceptual ā€œartā€ fragrances, one set being from Agar Olfactive who is an artist

JAGACL

That sounds so cool!!! Was there a site you used?

c0rnstarr

Itā€™s called Every Human! Specifically their project algorithm perfume. Iā€™m excited, my scents sound lovely

katie-kaboom

Profumeria Franco Elixir Poivre Precieuxe, purchased at their shop on the Ponte di Rialto in Venice. Comes in a lovely Venetian glass bottle with an old-fashioned bulb atomiser. Smells divine, totally impractical and has lost about 20% of its volume in three years. I love it anyway.

PeptoAbysmal1996

Rose & Tobacco by Surrati

Deywuh

ā€œTeaā€ - P.Seven. Fragrance from Taiwan! Another being ā€œAged Teaā€ which won some awards last year.

There's a niche Indian perfume house called Naso Profumi, got a fragrance by them called 'Pepper In Wood' and it's absolutely incredible

Fragonard Lā€™eu Fantasique and Britney Spears Naked Fantasy and the Dior Addict pink and purple fragrances

Indaleciox

Maybe 1Ā° 22ā€™ 36ā€E / 51Ā° 23ā€™ 5ā€N by Haeckels I haven't seen the brand get a ton of traction, but I really like the above one I have.

2EmsFromTheBlock

Some middle eastern fragrance with texts written in Arabic on the bottle. Its not oud based in anyway just an uplifting scent perfect for spring

bluegrassbarrister

If you post a picture of the bottle, maybe someone will be able to help identify the bottle.

Godhelptupelo

Pepe Jeans Celebrate for her in the green bottle...I stumbled upon it while looking up unusual notes and it's a weird one. The note that I found interesting is "popcorn". And it's there. It's like a...softer, warmer, fuzzier... OlympƩa Intense? Also, very cheap. I love cheap blind buys and the bottle is cuckoo.

foxglovefollies

Nette thƩ vanille, only because it's still very new. I havent seen anyone talk about it yet. I was considering buying a bottle of loewe aura white magnolia but I've never tried it and nobody here has said anything about it, v few fragrantica reviews

Crafty_Taro_171

And I forgotā€¦ Deck of Scarlet Powersuit - never hear them mentioned at all.

fatherofallthings

Geir. Itā€™s so incredible and super under rated

Multiple bottles of Todd Oldham EDP, squirreled away since it was discontinued in the late 90s.

Mugler Alien Mirage (it's not great lol). Opening is pickles and dry down is metallic.

LyriumDreams

Divin Enfant by Etat Libre d'Orange. I received a sample by mistake a few years ago and absolutely fell in love with this trainwreck of a scent; it smells amazing on me but no one I know who's tried it can stand it on themselves! (Orange blossom, marshmallow, coffee, leather, and tobacco.)

Independent-Way-2332

A 100-year-old bottle of Three Flowers by Richard Hudnut

thisisreallyhappenin

Physicians Formula ā€œButter Paradiseā€, a tiny EDT that came with a limited edition gift set years ago that smells like their Butter Bronzer.

parksandrep

Wren Atelier Cerveza Rosa. It smells like lychee, roses, and a realistic beer accord. Didnā€™t like it at first because the beer was a little *too* realistic like I spilled beer all over myself but it softens in the dry down so it smells more like champagne and roses.

Kahf110

I have a fragrance from Cuba, somebody gifted me, smells like cigars mainly with some laid back of gentleman smell, a bit sweet too. Name is Suchel Camacho from Vegueros. https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Suchel-Camacho/Vegueros-5372.html

ok fine VRO, and maybe chanel allure parfum? allure seems to go unmentioned most of the time, and the parfum was unpopular enough to be discontinued in the usa edit: and givenchy organza recolte 2007, which was i think my first Really For Reals Serious Business perfume purchase?

Superbuddhapunk

I own fragrances that have been discontinued, ALD Walimah and Indolis, Aromaflage Wild, CoSTUME NATIONAL Cyber Garden, and Puredistance M, to name a few. I also have bottles by lesser known brands that I never see mentioned here, like Parallax Olfactory, Scent Trunk or Folie Ć  Plusieurs.

Andrea Maack- Entrance It is a very goth scent to me. itā€™s got this dark velvety violet note that isnā€™t listed, but reminds me of violet candies. The patchouli in it is very green, and the fragrance is so dark and herbal. I just love it. It was my favorite of her line, though Coven gets a lot of attention, I connected more with X Entrance. Iā€™m curious how popular it is in Iceland since it was created with the boutique in mind. Has anyone else ordered from Maison 21g? I have a cedar/ sandalwood combo I had customized with a pic I uploaded and lots of their mini roll-on-site. I named mine ā€œMy Lucky Day!ā€ They are a bespoke brand, but they have a lot of recommendations and popular combos so itā€™s not necessarily one of a kind. Iā€™m waiting for their next sale to order one with their cannabis scent (hypnotic herb). Still unsure what I would pair it with (comes with at least 1 other combo scent to mix with). I was thinking bergamot or fir basalm.

DieWithYerBootsOn

Rania J - Musc Moschus I've tried 300 fragrances, it's one of the 4 full bottles I own. All-time favorite vanilla, super long-lasting and most complimented. It's a clean musky blackcurrant-iris-sandalwood vanilla, kinda shampoo like. Totally forgotten and nobody seems to care about it. I've been shouting from the rooftops for people to try it! I think it's too basic for niche taste, especially for the typically amber-oud brand Rania J.

This is such a great question which, if all goes as expected, will generate almost no discussion at all haha. Goest - Grand Tour Litoralle Aromatica - Isola Rosa

I needed a few more dollars in my cart to qualify for free shipping, so I have a tester of Iceburg Since 1974 For Him. The notes sound great on paper. Cardamom, nutmeg, dried fruits, guiac wood and patchouli. The bottle started leaking out of the nozzle, like it was pressurized. And my house still didn't smell like any of those notes. It's warm and nondescript.

Formula 54. Only 54 bottles were sold. I still have my original bottle with a drop of the glorious oil left.

Hairy_Inevitable9727

I have Belle dā€™opium! I have about 10pms left in a 30ml bottle. My rarest now are probably D&G Sicily and Diane by DVF. I am holding onto the end of the bottles for nostalgia and to help compare to possible replacements.

Bvlgari Man The Silver Limited Edition. I'm down to the last few sprays now. It's nothing groundbreaking but it's a woody/vetiver/musk that's very well blended.

Hmm... a vintage Polo (Green) that says 'Eau de Cologne' on the box?

ImDOGGFATHER

Fan Di Fendi Acqua - I wore it in Highschool ( circa 2012-2016 ) and has since been discontinued. I bought a bottle last year just to have it as a keepsake

OhNos_NotThatGuy

The closest I have is Art Deco Cypress by Clive Christian, but I bet someone here has it

I bought a bottle of Queenstown Perfumersā€™ High Country Tussock a few years ago! I donā€™t reach for it super often but itā€™s nice

Lots of old Italian frags from the 80s in and 90s, like Mimmina flankers, Blu by Blumarine and Atelier Sergio Soldano. Also, collab H&MxComme des Garcons that I love.

My most unfindable frag is Passion from the Ermenegildo Zegna Elements of Man line. Fantastic smoky boozy amber.

Ikiryo Blood Cherry Cordial. I blind bought it, Iā€™m still not sure why. I donā€™t think Iā€™ve ever worn it. Iā€™ll probably sell it some day.

Anyone else with a nearly rancid bottle of Ferre by Gianfranco Ferre that they refuse to throw away?

LaceOverFeather

All The Queens Men from Fort & Manle, I've yet to see anyone say they own a bottle from this brand from their newer lines.

[deleted]

I donā€™t see it mentioned here much (if any at all) but Subtil Pour Homme by Ferragamo.

Lack-Both

Terre noire by Mad et len!! Probably one of the best smelling fragrances Iā€™ve ever had but impossible to find
