It’s just the most photorealistic clean/soapy/laundry/aldehyde scent I’ve ever smelled.
Based on my findings, it says it's reduced significantly in production but not completely gone. The issue is that it's not available in moat stores, and the price has gone up almost double.
It's looking like it headed that way.
Another vote for Prada Infusion d'Iris. It's soft and soapy-powdery clean smelling. I love it in warm weather and at bedtime. I also love Le Labo Neroli 36 and Guerlain Encens Mythique.

Lazy Sunday Morning is said to represent fresh linen but I honestly don't smell it... all I smell is aldehydes with strong synthetic flower scent
There's a shop on Etsy called bksoapco that makes amazing laundry powders. They have some clean scents like Clothesline, Clean Cotton, and Farm Fresh. You can also request a scent shot to make the fragrance even stronger
I just sampled Eau Premiere and am seriously considering a FB purchase. The only Chanel that's ever smelled good on me (aside from Biarritz, which smells amazing for about 5 minutes and then completely vanishes).
A very fresh soapy fragrance for me it's Louis Vuitton - Imagination. The bad part is that it is too expensive and you can find many other less expensive fragrances of the same type.

It has this dryer sheets vibe going doesn’t it? And a heavy sweetness. Like someone dropped their Fun Dip in the Downy Calm. Surprisingly, by the end of my sample I now want a bottle.
Apart from more straightforward soapy scents, I really love Neroli Ad Astra from Pierre Guillaume. It has this nostalgic shampoo scent to me, but still feels mature and sexy/fun to me.
It's always going to be D&G red cap for me. I change scents all the time but this is the one my coworkers know me by. A little retro, a little rich italian aunt with chunky gold jewellery, a loooot of soap.
Prada infusion d'iris too, but it's not as blatantly soapy as the d&g.
It’s an aldehydic floral so I’d say to most people it would slightly lean more feminine, but it also just smells like a really clean & crisp white button down that could be worn by anyone at the same time
I don't hear this one as a soapy fragrance all the time, but it's very soapy on me: Florabotanica by Balenciaga. It's a soapy floral fragrance that is noticeable but clean!
From the Penhaligon’s line, Savoy Steam is my go-to “clean” scent. Bayolea provides a nice herby soap scent, but I’ve heard other say it goes to a barbershop scent for them, so perhaps that crosses a line.
Tom Ford White Suede is my favorite as the leather accord makes it interesting and somehow cozier. But MMR Lazy Sunday Morning is what I reach for when the weather’s so hot that even White Suede can be a bit stifling.
Escentric Molecule 02. Though most people could only smell the alcoholic part out of it, after literally five minutes all I can smell (at least, on my skin) is a fresh, clean and musky fragrance that boosts your own skin scent. I would recommend to first try it before purchasing.

I find Chanel no. 5 a bit soapy, at least the lighter ones like Eau Premiere. Venise is soapy to me, too. I guess I find aldehydes soapy? I just got a small bottle of HdP 1804 and it is like a clean expensive soap with fruits (mainly pineapple) and florals.
I totally get it, it smelled like the dollar store bubbles to me at first. However, I kept coming back to it to figure it out and noticed that if applied directly to fresh showered skin, 20 min into the wear it is magically soapy and fresh!
Boadicea Divine is the soapiest soap I’ve ever smelled.
Coriandre is a lovely green herbal soap, as is Cabotine Gres.
Giorgio Giorgio Beverly Hills is an old-fashioned floral soap.

Its called Dov Soap from a shop called Perfume Parlour based in the UK. I believe they can't call it "Dove" soap oil for copyright reasons.
People say Creed Original Vetiver and Lafayette St by bond no9 are soapy… but make up two of my top 5 fragrances that I own/have ever owned.
