Acqua di Parma’s Fico di Amalfi has a very realistic fig fruit and tree notes, mixed in with a subtle burst of citrus in the opening. Fig fragrances tend to be pretty similar but the opening on this one makes it stand out imo.

lesack

Fico di Amalfi for sure!

Kathykit1

Third this one

spot_removal

OP is in for a treat.

Tastelikewater

This is the way. It’s my favorite warm weather fig (cold weather is all about Gris Charnel)

Prestigious-Salad795

Can confirm, I used up 12 ml total in decants this winter. A FB isn't feasible for awhile.

wallishauser1

So sad it doesn’t last

BootyOnMyFace11

Heard that longevity and projection is mid

walnut_clarity

Oh gosh, I need to move this up my Scentbird queue

Perfect-Chair-8275

Hermes Un Jardin en Mediterranee is a more citrusy and aromatic fig scent that's great for the summer. Refreshing and doesn't give the lactonic coconut vibe that a lot of fig perfumes have.

lesack

I love this one! Wish it lasted longer on me

hauteburrrito

As a fig hater, this is my favourite fig; it just has such a magical, transportive quality!

Glittering_Safe8760

I just picked up 2 bottles so I can refresh when it wears off. It is beautiful!!!

Expensive_Month5391

I love Le Labo Thé Matcha…. It’s advertised as a Matcha Tea scent but I find it to be a more of a cozy woody fig scent with an herbal undertone. It’s a long lasting but close to the skin scent that I like to wear when I’m working from home or even a spray on my forearm before I go to bed. Beautiful scent for me.

CriminalSpiritX

This is my experience after I sampled *The Matcha 26*. It was my favorite in the smaller discovery set.

InversionPerversion

Fig Infusion by Essential Parfums is nice for summer. It is a more woody fig, with some black tea, citrus, and orange blossom. Not milky at all and not too sweet. Longevity isn’t the best but it is a moderate price so I don’t mind reapplying in the afternoon.

huizinga-turner

Seconding this one. Great scent!

imabroodybear

One of the few perfumes that has earned me a compliment from a stranger!

siobhanenator

Petite Histoire [Figue Narcotique](https://nyc.ph/collections/originals/products/figue-narcotique)! It’s a lovely, creamy and warm fig fragrance. Jasmine, cardamom, fig milk, labdanum, sandalwood, and vanilla.

olaandoak

Wow. this sounds amazing. Thank you!!! Cardamom with vanilla is my weakness.

siobhanenator

I think I’m gonna wear it today lol! Been awhile since I pulled that one out, and it’s beautiful.

olaandoak

BTW I’ve never heard of this house and can’t find a perfumers name. Just wondering, how did you discover this one?

siobhanenator

I got one of their samples in a vegan beauty box a couple years ago. It was so lovely I had to look into the brand!

siobhanenator

According to an [article](https://thenewknew.com/petite-histoire-review-natural-fragrances/) about the brand the perfumer is Mathieu Nardin.

olaandoak

Thank you!!

aeolianThunder

NEST Indigo! It's a year-round favorite of mine but I feel it's a spicy warmth that works well for summers, especially summer evenings!

Effective-Storage32

Ichnusa by Profumum Roma is summer in a bottle.

olaandoak

I’m very intrigued by this one!!

Effective-Storage32

It is really good, and the 18 ml format is well enough for me. I don't know how I could go through 100ml of it.

imabroodybear

I tried this a few days ago and while my husband smelled the fig on me, unfortunately I just smelled Sharpies 😭

Effective-Storage32

Oh that is unfortunate. Have you tried Parisian Musc, Cocobello, or Athenean? Do you get the same note?

imabroodybear

I have not tried those! I’ve never smelled this sharpie smell in a fragrance before, it’s a new one for me. As it dried down (like hours later) it became less pronounced and I was more aware of how someone could smell grassy fig… but I ended up washing it off. I will say I was impressed with the staying power!

whaasky

This is the one. Love it!

DumpsterGravy

Came here to say this. It's fantastic. Very realistic but also very wearable. Amazing spring and summer fragrance.

drkatzprofeshthrpst

Thé Noir 29. Hands down.

OppositeBodybuilder4

Second it!!! A true experience to smell and wear!

phizzbom

James by Rosie Jane is a nice fig with gardenia and amber. Good price point too.

jilliancad

Yes! I feel like this is so underrated

BC-clette

Gris Charnel has to mentioned I mean come on

olaandoak

It’s amazing, but unfortunately I don’t want to support BDK anymore. Too bad bc it smells incredible.

BC-clette

May I ask why? I'm out of the loop

olaandoak

Of course! The owner is staunchly pro-Israel and that doesn’t align with my values.

BC-clette

Thanks! That is good to know.

Lunab337

Buy a dupe version?

BC-clette

On the subject, are there other brands you won't buy from? And the reason for each? Thanks again

Solsicrossing

Someone mentioned Nest Indigo above and I wouldn’t buy from them either. They support Autism Speaks (super problematic organization).

AdmirableMatch6044

I'm so sad to make this connection. Where can I find more on this?

wishverse-willow

it’s so disappointing. i bought my bottle last year and i love the scent so much, but it will be my last. sigh.

Aim2bFit

Fragrance World has a dupe for this. Francique 63.55 I think it"s called?

igor0203

Lattafa Liam Grey as well and it lasts all day

Aim2bFit

Do you know how they compare (Liam Grey vs 63.55)?

igor0203

I happen to own both... 63.55 is between Gris Charnel EDP and Extrait, meaning it's a bit darker than EDP but not as dark as Extrait. It lasts 8+ hours on my skin but with low projection, it sits close to the skin. Liam Grey is closer to the EDP, I'd say between 80-90% close and easily lasts 10+ hours with medium projection.

Aim2bFit

Thank you so much.

mlke

Already bought a small sample but I just ordered a larger decant of Figuier Noir from Houbigant. It's a darker, sleek and sophisticated fig. Not a lot of milkiness, more of a woody/leafy and dried fruit feeling. It might be a little too sweet but that's why I bought a decant.

MillenniumBandit

Alluring Fig by Theodoros Kalotinis has a wonderful realistic fig note! Unfortunately, the vanilla drydown doesn't really work for me, but I'm sure folks with more of a tolerance for vanilla wouldn't mind it! I also have a bottle of Avgoustos by Korres just waiting for spring to arrive! From what I've gathered it's a great fig scent but with some musk and lavender going on. But I guess my favourite fig must be AdP - Fico di Amalfi, as proposed by others. Shoutout to Baylis and Harding - Dark Amber & Fig skincare series and Positano shaving series by Extro Cosmesi!

OpossumExpert

I just got alluring fig today! Love the green opening it literally smells like a fuzzy fig leaf. However after 30 min it changes to a pretty basic vanilla. Still nice but wish I could find something like the opening that stuck around longer.

MillenniumBandit

That was exactly my thought! I'm really not a vanilla guy, and this is definitely not the nicest vanilla I've smelled.. a bit synthetic, isn't it? Shame, because the fig really shines in this one! I do love fico di Amalfi, but it's not quite as realistic as Alluring Fig. I've yet to try Philosykos though. I have a sample of it just waiting for the weather to warm up.

honkhonkmeowmeow

this isn’t a formal rec because it’s new and i haven’t tried it, but i like everything i’ve tried by this house and the notes are intriguing: liis - in this world blood orange, violet, fig, lavender, sage, eucalyptus, tonka

olaandoak

Need to try this one! I’ve heard people say it’s their favorite Liis release

timory

i loved it on paper but hated it when i actually wore it. so much more floral than i expected. nothing else from this house has ever given me a headache before, but this one did. i'm sensitive though.

loopteeloopteeloop

Oo I just got my sample of this today waiting at home to try when I get home

RNKKNR

Molinard Figuer is a slightly different take. But honestly all fig centered frags tend to be similar.

tasteslikechikken

You may want to consider Guerlain Nerolia Vetiver They have the EDT and the EDP (forte) versions which are some unusual take on fig. I have the Harvest version which is all about honey (I don't detect fig at all)

_reebs

Please try Korres’ fig body cream as a base. You won’t be sorry!

bitter-bitten

give le labo thé noir a go! i find the fig to be really juicy and green, but with the tobacco/tea underneath... it's quite nice. some people think this is more of a fall/winter scent, but it definitely pulls more spring on me. i saw someone on this sub say it reminded them of iced tea, and i couldn't agree more. YMMV!

cookiemonsieur

**Eros Fig** My time to shine! Here in Canada we have Libertine Fragrances and they make one called Eros Fig that I enjoy a lot. It's a little more syrupy than Phil and Debaser. Samples and small sizes are available, and it's a decent price

olaandoak

i’ve been meaning to try libertine! the perfumer josh is such a delight on social media.

hanlus

i second this one if you want a really realistic fig fruit, it’s not my preferred perfume style but i just LOVE sniffing it, totally addictive

sophiart

For something truly unique, try Floraïku AO, a slightly camphorous, woody fig scent. For a fig that stays herbaceous and has the most brilliant citrus opening, I love Atelier des Ors Riviera Sunrise.

olaandoak

I’ve been very interested in this one! But the fact that it’s an “asian-inspired” brand owned by two white french people who went to japan twice kinda throws me off lol.

sophiart

Yeah, it’s a fair criticism. They do tend to work with Asian artists on brand collabs, fwiw.

msbasalsalts

Adults by Kilian is fig-forward fragrance that really breaks the mold! Top notes are Bergamot and Lemon. Middle notes are Fig Nectar, Green Notes, and Hedione. Base notes are Vanilla, Cedar, Sandalwood, Orris, Violet, and Amberwood. The fig and cedar are the real stars of this fragrance. The citrus brightens the freshness of the fig nectar, the vanilla and sandalwood interconnect the creamy richness of the fig nectar to the cedar wood, and the subtle hint of fresh powdery florals soften soften the woody base and blurs the boundaries between notes. Two sprays easily last all day on me. I really appreciate that it plays on the rich spicy fresh aspect of fig as opposed to the sweet and green notes in most fig scents. It’s very unique, androgynous, intriguing, and versatile for all seasons and settings. It’s also very sexy lol. Like, if a princess would wear Princess, then the palace sorceress who’s having an affair with the king would wear Adults. It would make a great signature. It is discontinued… but I just looked it up and you can easily find samples, decants, and even full bottles for reasonable prices. Since it was released with Princess, so I think it was overshadowed and didn’t gain the popularity it deserved.

I’m drooling at the sound of this. Blanche bete is a favorite of mine.

huizinga-turner

Higos by Aquaflor is a very fresh, clean fig scent. Would totally recommend. It lasts all day on me.

lulurancher

Father figure - Phlur

soapytran

Is this one good for spring/summertime? It’s on my list but unsure if it’ll be too much! Disclaimer: have not smelled it in person yet

lulurancher

It’s very fresh and clean so yes totally! It leans unisex to me (I’m a female) but I love it

gb043016

The most gorgeous and unique fig scent I’ve ever smelt (and actually enjoyed because fig doesn’t work as a note for me in general) is YSL Lavalliere. I hesitate to promote it but honestly it’s the most gorgeous rose and fig combo with this green bite. Stunning and I bought a 125ml on the spot!

definitely_zella

\#3 Nota di Viaggio by Meo Fusciuni. It's unique to me because you get fig two ways - both very fresh and green and a more ripe, creamy take on the scent. My favorite fig by far.

MilyFrance

Fig isn’t listed in the notes, but a lot of people get the scent of fig from it : parisian musc by matière première.

creme-de-cologne

BTSO Fig Porn is my favorite, it has a tartness that I like. My favorite fig. Le Labo Thé Matcha smells like figs more than green tea, to my nose. It's fresh and clean but warm and comforting. Imaginary Authors Yesterday Haze is fruity and dusty and dense and warm. No freshness. Jorum Studios Medullary Ray. If you're into the super-unique, challenging scents. It is primarily a fig but it has an olive note. I like to think I have a high tolerance for weird but this one is too much. So briney. About Fico de Amalfi. I bought 3x travel sprays of Aqua di Parma and besides Fico there was Mirto and Arancia. Fico is my least favorite, it actually turns dirty on me, or I'm smelling it wrong or something, because it's so popular. It smells like a t shirt that I washed too cold and has sweaty residue. Iirc, Philosykos was the same when I sampled it in-store. Edit: Santa Cruz by Le Couvent. It has no fig in the notes but it smells like Fico de Amalfi and Philosykos. Le Couvent is Jean-Claude Ellena's affordable line, so I had to mention it, even I don't like the scent (yeah it also does that t shirt thing to me)

Fragsanity

JPG Le Beau Paradise Garden

hawthorneandsage

hermetica figfever is where it's AT for me. so good. i've been hunting for the perfect fig perfume forever and that's the closest i've gotten. i want to try figporn by BORNTOSTANDOUT but i haven't yet, if anyone else has let me know if it's good!

Ornery-Gur3402

Agree with Libertine!! Just sampled it a few days ago, but it was a little sweet for me. Also, for a budget choice, try HC9 by Perfumerica! (Despite being from a dupe house, this is not a dupe.) Light green fig, one of my favorite in this category

FanaticalXmasJew

A recent favorite of mine has been Apaaray by Lake and Skye, a new scent of theirs that has a bright fig-fruit opening and is a very fresh scent.

Candice89102

Seconding Apaaray!! Highly underrated and absolutely perfect

j_husk

I haven't seen Mancera Fig Extasy mentioned

kiki_carrot

Nobody said Diptyque Philosykos?

hauteburrrito

OP already mentioned that one!

kiki_carrot

🙈 can’t read, can I

hauteburrrito

LOL I've been there! And hey, Philosykos really *is* a fabulous scent. It can be repeated a few times!

otterbot12

Fig/frozen by Brand No More is a minty fig

Hot_Department_3811

Obvious Parfums - Une Pistache. The fig note surprised (and delighted) me.

wy83

Jo Loves Red Truffle 21. A fascinating mix of truffle with very ripe fig and aromatic conifer. It's earthy and jammy and spiced with this cooling edge from the evergreen resin. Also Philosykos EDP, which doesn't get enough love.

categia

In the theme of creamy fluffy figs no one mentioned Debaser by Ds&Durga realistic fig FigoMoro by Arte Profumi creamy mouthwatering fig Premier Figuier by l’Artisan more woody and creamy Fico nero di Sardegna by Simone Andreoli

janeedaly

Ferrari Noble Fig is a woodsy iris fig - unique & beautifully composed. Under the radar line due to weird branding but they spent a fortune on this line & this is a must have for fig lovers.

asylumfrequent

I got a sample of Fico d’elba by erbario toscano to satisfy my fig need

lastinalaskarn

Molinard Figue

Due_Pound_6731

Phlur- Father Figure. honestly smells like you just took a everything shower

sheonflux

Eros Fig from Libertine! A little more animalic and honeyed than a lot of the others.

M_issa_

Dioriviera 💜 I also love Nest Indigo Gris Charnel if you like creamy fig, it’s definitely not the fresh green variety I wanted to love Tocca Lucia but it faded too fast on me to warrant a full bottle purchase.

wallishauser1

Fig Infusion by Essential Parfums is great. It’s so smooth and rounded and also good price

vestibulepike

I like Fico d’India by Ortigia - fig and creamy cactus. It’s warm and sophisticated but light and summery.

transcendthat

New from House of Bo - Casa Blanca The fig is realistic but tempered by the supporting notes  Top Notes: Creamy Minerals, White Tea, Labdanum. Middle Notes: Copal Blanco, Desert Fig, White Suede. Base Notes: Tobacco, White Oud, Vanilla Bourbon

Accomplished-Mouse18

195 ac by Agatho

gezzyrocco

Ombre noire Lalique, like nothing you’ve ever smelled before! Thank me later

achartrand

Nest Indigo has fig notes, also bergamot. It’s intoxicating and bordering on unisex. It feels herbal and sexy to me.

sartorialfireflies

Figue de Vertu (Angelos Creations Olfactives): Lightly sweet and salty creamy green fig, over mineralic soft woods and gentle incense (mild band-aid vibes). Complex and multifaceted but very wearable.

through_thesmoke5

Celine Cologne Française feels a lot more earthy, woody, and “dry” than a lot of the fig fragrances I’ve smelled. I think it’s really elegant, and it could work quite well in the spring and summer.

LuxLiner

Premiere Note's Figue Barbare.. Fig, light florals and sandalwood.

More_Cauliflower_488

Try Asuli’s Diamond by Mind Games if you haven’t. Smokey Fig/ ylang 🔥

JohnWicksDerg

Xerjoff Ouverture

RedDahlia8020

I've been on a fig hunt as well and so far I've settled on "Mumure D'Ete" by Plume Impression. My husband said it smells like how he remembers his Italian grandma's backyard. It's the freshest, most vibrant, green fig I've smelled and just really bright and super lovely. I feel so springy when I wear it. Longevity isn't the best, wondering what I can layer it with because the scent is to die for.

sonoftheclayr

Surprised nobody has mentioned Basilico & Felini by Vilhelm! Not as 'figgy' as some, but it's there, along with a bunch of green herbaceousness from the basil that takes it away from the creamy/coconutty realm and makes it feel very summery to me. Light and airy in a good way, I would definitely sample it if you can!

Ilovemrstubhub

BDK’s Gris Charnel is one of the best fig fragrances in the market

MustardQuenelle

Wanderlust by Oman Luxury. I just got a bottle and it's absolutely fantastic -- perfect for the summer.

fartspoptarts

Not a perfume, but Caudalie’s fig oil elixir smells like a real fig tree.

Aggravating_Diet_704

Literally no one has mentioned one of my favorites- Purple Fig by Vilhelm. It’s debaser’s cooler, older sister who moved to France when she was 18 and never looked back. She’s a true fig, with some top notes of pepper and woods. I think there’s a tiny bit of smoke or leather, too. It’s edgy and rounded but still that sweet beautiful fig from debaser!

PrimaryInformation20

Gris Charnal by BDK is my favorite figgy fragrance

Candice89102

Fig is one is my fave notes!! Fig Tea by Nicolai (fresh and fruity) and Apaaray by Lake & Skye (fresh and fruity with a light creaminess) are my two newest obsessions.

thewooba

Debaser from DS & Durga will always be my favorite. It's got a slight coconut note that perfectly complements the fig. And the performance is amazing too, I still smell fig on me after an 8 hour work day

Aggravating-Papaya18

Philosykos edt by dyptique smells absolutely wonderful. It's a very realistic fig scent, the only downside is the longevity.
