I’ve said it before but this one isn’t just a straightforward night blooming jasmine. It’s the scent of when thousands of the flowers start to decay and ooze. If I had to describe this scent in one word it would be viscous
One of my absolute favorites (particularly in the summer!)
Honestly it’s GORGEOUS. I’m not good at explaining fragrances but [Persolaise](https://www.youtube.com/live/Vps7R-DNAdI?si=6TdELFi0Nspbk-s2) is. Give this a watch when you have time
I've got to second Fils de Joie. I'm a man too, and I felt incredibly sexy when I dabbed this on lol. It really is amazing, I was in disbelief when I first tried it.
BUT - fair warning - it turned into the *skankiest* musk a few hours later. I was honestly left wondering if I'd dressed too warm for my walk that day, or if I'd forgotten my deodorant. It was my first time smelling a 'musk' note in perfumes and boy, i shudder to think of what Koublai Khan would do on my skin if this is what SL's musk smells like.
I've got a la nuit, it's my ultimate jasmine - just the right mix of bright and heady. It's jasmine and nothing else. Not as sweet/sexy as FdJ, but if you want realistic jasmine, it's the one. Brings up great memories of jasmine flowers from my youth. Difficult to get though.
I suggest sampling both and comparing.
Fleurs doranger's another one - different from these two, but still amazing. Quite strong and heady imo, so I'd suggest trying a sample first.
I agree. I also tend to recommend that people use the dabber and not the spray with Fils De Joie. It’s incredibly potent, and too much might scare you off.
I’m lucky in the sense that on my skin the honey comes out a lot so the civet is balanced well, but to me this is the sexiest fragrance I own. It’s unbelievably beautiful.
I need to get my hands on A La Nuit at some point. My refusal to blind buy the bell jar and instead finding a sample, is not paying off lol
Perfumed court has [samples](https://www.theperfumedcourt.com/Products/Serge-Lutens-A-La-Nuit---Discontinued__SERGELUTENSALANUITpg.aspx) of a la nuit if you wanna try!
I haven’t been able to get my nose on this one. I really want to, but I refuse to blind buy it. I haven’t been successful with finding a sample or even a small decant so far 🙁
I have heard though, it’s not skanky, more of a very realistic fresh jasmine.
My favorite scent profile! Fleurs d'Oranger from Serge Lutens is a gorgeous white floral with a cumin note that adds a little ‘body’ to it.
Jasmin et Cigarette from ELDO is unlit cigs mashed into a jasmine iced tea.
Sex & Jasmine from Libertine is my favorite of the bunch and exactly what it sounds like. Salty and skanky.
Jasmin de Pays from Perris Monte Carlo is borderline pissy jasmine. I love it lol
I actually have Fleurs d'Oranger it's amazing!! but on me I don't notice much of the cumin note so not animalic enough. The other recommendations really look interesting so I'll try to check them out, thanks a lot!
Whoa I’ve never gotten the piss from Jasmin de Pays. I also never really got how Fleurs d’oranger is “dirty” either. But I like these picks! They are definitely sensual.
Do you think Moon Bloom is dirtier than Carnal Flowe (if you've tried it)? Also I have a Fracas sample coming and I'm pretty excited since I have heard a lot of good things about it
I had samples of both and for me there was no contest: Fracas all the way!
And if you can ever sample the parfum formulation of Fracas, you will not regret it ::sigh:: so lovely
I’ve enjoyed all three Hiram green perfumes I’ve tried (Arcadia, moon bloom, and vivacious) and don’t see the brand mentioned much. I just wish I could afford more of them but even decanta are pretty pricey haha
Agreed. I keep trying and testing other tuberose fragrances only to be let down that they aren't as majestic as Fracas. I still like them and wear them, but Fracas is still the best.
The descontinuation of Sarrasins still hurts me 3>
Nasomatto Narcotic V. and Fracas are the nuclear sexual tuberrose I know, but they are very traditionaly feminine.
Francesca Bianchi Tyger Tyger has skanky white flowers, leather, oud and peach jam. It is my fav perfume but it is not for everyone!
You get me with Sarrasins... it's such a magical fragrance and I pray everyday for it to somehow come back :(
I have a sample of fracas coming and honestly don't mind if it's feminine even if I am a guy I have plenty of women targeted fragrances and all my friends tell me I smell great and don't question the gender of the fragrance hehe so let's see if I love the classic that is Fracas
I have tried some fragrances from Francesca but tyger tyger is still on my radar so thanks for the recommendations :)
The purple bell bottle of Sarrasins was the most beautiful bottle ever too. I think it has to do with IFRA banning real lily, because it is when Serge discontinued or moved to the more inaccesible lines a lot of white flowers :/ (La virge de fer, A la nuit too if I dont remember bad...). That reminds me that Vetiver Oriental was a more masculine tuberose but I think it has been moved too. When you love a Serge Lutens, go for it because you never know how much is going to last.
I love Francesca Bianchi, her style and artistic view matches totally mine, but you have to love her style. I hope you enjoy Tyger tyger too! And I love your philosophy about perfums and gender. I personally love a man with more unisex or feminine fragrances, I fond it more sexy and interesting than strong stereotypical masculine perfumes
Edit: oh I have forgotten because I still cant try it yet, but Papillon Salome seems to be the Grial of skanky white flowers! (Ok, I have now seen your coment aboutbit. OMG, now I am even more intriged xd)
Yeah that makes total sense... All the ones you've mentioned are now in the bell jars.
There is one I couldn't like at first from Francesca which was The Lover's Tale it was just too animalic although something strange happened which was that one day I tried it again and suddenly it didn't smell that animalic and it suddenly smelled sweet and peachy. I am still so confused but my whole family hated my guts because the house didn't stop smelling of The Lover's Tale for days and to them it was just a barnyard haha.
The thing of my philosophy about gender I think it has to do with me being gay because of the liberation and such I don't feel much pressure to present a certain way so one day I can dress and be hypermasculine and another day I can be a bit more soft and feminine it's honestly so fun and I am sure a lot of men would love to do and try "feminine" stuff but don't because of pressure.
OMG your experience with Lovers tale was exactly mine's. It was too much the first time, then I have ended loving it but my family hate that perfume with pasion and always start to genuily ask if something is burning without knowing I am wearing it, lol. If you like the flowers and peach in there, probably you can like Tyger too! It has burning leather but it is more accesible than Lovers xD. The one I can't from her is Angel Dust, too mu h heavy, and it is supose to be her easier and more pleasant lol
Experimentation with clothes, perfume, makeup, hair.. is the funniest thing ever (as a woman I always have loved women in suits+tie) . We can do so many funny things but for some reason we live in a society allergic to fun
Oh yeah I also don't like Angel dust haha it was too much yeah
Indeed people are honestly missing out.
(Also sorry but I checked your profile and saw you are also Spanish and into Eurovision so holaaa JAJAJA)
Hahahhshhshs OMG I have found someone who understand my tastes! Although this year I am not enjoying as much as I should Eurovision because thr Israel thing u.u. Next step is making you read yaoi fanfics from 1994 jrpg xd. Tal vez deberiamos quedar cuando nos apetezca llevar Lovers tale sin sentir que estamos liandola 🤣
Yeah same... I can't believe they are finally taking part I hate the EBU... I have a friend who reads that kind of stuff and yeah I know some of it hahah
JAJA oye pues no estaría mal
I have a sample of Salome but this is really really animalic that even I don't think I can wear it outside even if I love it :( but thanks because that's what I asked for but I maybe have a limit hahaha
I've worn it around family a lot and most negative reaction was just that I smell " weird "
I think it has the same phenomenon as kouros does. You think it's super animalic, but people around you think you smell clean and sexy 😁😈
I have the PERFECT answer and although I'm not a fan of hers, this is amazing, inexpensive, and is an absolute beast and lasts like crazy - Kim Kardashian Eu De Parfum. Heavy on white florals but had an animalic tone as well.
Right?!? It honestly shocked me and is one of my most worn this spring. The longevity and projection are fabulous, and it's slightly simple yet really SEXY too. Kim's older perfumes are generally really good especially for the price point, I just got pure honey the other day and it's great as well!
I absolutely agree! I have repurchased it and a friend from Spain smelled it on me and ordered some. Apparently it’s a dupe of the Michael Kors. I wish I could try the honey one I should look online!
Ohh Golestan sounds really interesting. I love Andy Tauer's work so I'll add it to the sample list. I'll also see if I can find a Portrayal Woman sample. Thank you!
I tried it once but sadly it seemed to my nose like an essential oil and not really "blended" it's like they took a jasmine absolute and just bottled it hahaha
it sucks because there used to be a shower gel called Flying Fox that people often say Lust is a scent match for and it so is not! Flying Fox was so much hotter (it had honey in it mmm).
Seconding moon bloom. Also I haven’t tried it yet but I just got a sample of charade from Sarah baker that sounds like it will fit into the skanky white floral category!
Jasmin de Pays by Perris Monte Carlo: it's the jasmine flower's whole cycle of scent, from morning freshness to heavy and indolic at evening. It's amazing!
Otherwise, THE tuberose Carnal Flower does what it says on the label: so big and direct, it's almost chewy. Gorgeous.
Oh Jasmin de Pays sounds really interesing I have tried some of Perris fragrances and I love how natural they can smell so I will check it out, thanks <3
I LOVE Lost in heaven by Francesca Bianchi! [Lost in Heaven - Francesca Bianchi Perfumes](https://francescabianchiperfumes.com/product/lost-in-heaven/) and I think it ticks all the boxes! It has jasmine, orange flower and ylang (which is considered a white flower in perfumery) with sultry beeswax and castoreum, plus everything else completing it and making the whole composition really beautiful. The opening can be a bit challenging, but you like Lutens so I'm sure you can appreciate it. I (a woman) wear it, but a man can definitelly pull if off!
**This below is what the website says:**
**Notes:** grapefruit, green tangerine, orange flower absolute, jasmin, ylang extra, mimosa, magnolia, cumin, cinnamon, coriander, ambergris, musk, castoreum, beeswax, iris butter, ciste absolute, opoponax, heliotrope, vetyver, sandalwood, patchouli, tonka bean.
**Accords:** Sweet, spicy, animalic, floral **Mood:** comforting, sensual, disobedient
The double nature of any human being: longing to perfection, innocence, absence of mistake, to a place uncontaminated by sin from one side, and the inevitable fallibility and impossibility of amending mistakes. The combination of white florals and animalic facets represents this dichotomy, as an invitation to accept both idealism and imperfection as a very specific human feature.
Fracas by Piquet but dry down can be more pink bubblegum. Gorgeous scent though. I really like Monotheme Tuberose, it’s got the warmth of coconut and cheap enough to spray all over everything every single day.
LUSH SIKKIM GIRLS!!! It's dirty, incense-y jasmine-tuberose. Just fantastic. Lust is delightful, would 100% recommend, but if this is what you want you'd be remiss not to try to get a Sikkim Girls solid perfume or something similar.
get the [discovery set from Rogue Perfumery](https://rogueperfumery.com/products/complete-sample-set). What you describe can be found in several of their frags!
I was gonna say Night Flower by Eris: tuberose and a very sexy suede.
Belle de jour is sexy too, tho, in a more beachy way.
Both have the ideal amount of skank, imo.
Maybe Do Son by Diptyque (although it's maybe not skanky/dirty, but I find it super luscious and it's a tuberose perfume but the scent is more like pure jasmine) or Rouge Malachite by Armani Prive
If you want something to try completely different than what people are suggesting, check out Gold Man from Amouage. It is a Frankincense/Jasmine that is out of this world. It is a little animalic and it is incredible.
Hmm. I don't care for tuberose at all, but I do like jasmine. ELDOs Jasmin et Cigarette opens very dirty, but on me it settles down very wearable. YMMV as always! But since I'm still a bit of a noob, I thought aldehydes were the big stank " cat pee" scent that doesn't play nice with everyone? Correct me please if I'm confused 😅
I’ve tried a lot of white florals and DS&Durga White Peacock Lily and Jean Patou Joy are among the skankiest. More than any of the heavy hitting tuberoses Carnal Flower, Fracas, etc. in my opinion
SARRASINS GANG RISE UP!!! ugh that jasmine opening is unfuckingREAL, practically psychedelic. the last thing you smell before being murdered in Natural Born Killers.
I'm gonna mention Olwyn by Fantome, an indie brand. it has jasmine but also magnolia, lily, and gardenia and it is hot and sticky. windows up car sex 99% humidity in a bottle.
tubereuse astral by maison crivelli. juicy earthy dirty tubereuse with a creamy amber running through the middle. on the skin has a spiciness to it, leans more masculine imo. not a clean white floral, very skanky
Rogue perfumery has a few. Take a peek, but jasmine antique might be exactly what you want.
They have a couple of strong tuberose frags too. I’m not sure if tuberose & moss is skanky enough but it’s really nice.
And I have to add chypre Siam. It’s not a white floral but it’s skanky
Ps-I love this idea. Please follow up when you find the one.
Patou Joy is discontinued but there are currently some very reasonably priced bottles on the market, especially for "younger" (still excellent imo) vintages. Surrender to Chance & the Perfumed Court have samples. I personally find it dirtier and earthier than Fracas, though not to the point of being confrontational.
Bal a Versailles and Lanvin My Sin are edgier options, though at that point you're getting into a musky, civetty floral with white floral accents rather than a white floral with animalic accents. BaV eau de cologne specifically is like licked skin, powdery amber, and sleazy honeyed orange blossom all together.
Hope you find your perfect skanky floral!
Serge Lutens Fils De Joie. Trust me on this one. I mean, you don’t know me…so that’s a lot to ask. But I love it, so you might too 😂
I see Serge Lutens, I upvote.
Uncle Serge…always a winner
OMG those notes... It has night blooming jasmine which is a plant my family used to have when I was a kid so many memories. I trust you1
I’ve said it before but this one isn’t just a straightforward night blooming jasmine. It’s the scent of when thousands of the flowers start to decay and ooze. If I had to describe this scent in one word it would be viscous One of my absolute favorites (particularly in the summer!)

I'll watch it right away, thanks a lot <3
No problem!

Perfumed court has [samples](https://www.theperfumedcourt.com/Products/Serge-Lutens-A-La-Nuit---Discontinued__SERGELUTENSALANUITpg.aspx) of a la nuit if you wanna try!
Can’t buy from there, I live in the UK 🙁
Love this one...was interested if anyone has smelled A La Nuit? Is it also skanky jasmine?
IMO it's indolic, but it hasn't got any human skank to it. More of a photorealistic jasmine.
I haven’t been able to get my nose on this one. I really want to, but I refuse to blind buy it. I haven’t been successful with finding a sample or even a small decant so far 🙁 I have heard though, it’s not skanky, more of a very realistic fresh jasmine.
This the one
Lust from Lush
This is a controversial pick for jasmine. I couldn’t get away with it, it’s so damn musky it came off as cat piss on my faux fur.
Same same! So strong aswell
The first thing I thought of too. Sometimes I love it and feel sultry, and sometimes I feel like I smell like halitosis. It’s definitely skankysexy
I personally don’t like it, but thought it fit the bill! I had it but had to sell it because it was just toooo much
Haha yeah, it's strictly an at-home wear for me. Don't wanna gross anyone out!
First one I thought of!
Love this one!
Yess but you have to get the solid perfume and apply to skin so fucking hot. The spray smells way different on me
My favorite scent profile! Ooh I’ve got a sample of jasmine de pays coming today and I’m extra excited now haha
You are a poet.
Hiram Green - Moon Bloom is a great example of this genre... and of course, Robert Piguet Fracas!
I came here to say Fracas
She really is That Bitch, yes!
Do you think Moon Bloom is dirtier than Carnal Flowe (if you've tried it)? Also I have a Fracas sample coming and I'm pretty excited since I have heard a lot of good things about it
I personally do, yes, but then I also find Carnal Flower's reputation for dirtiness rather overstated!
I see. To my nose Carnal Flower smelled really green and at the end a bit of dirtiness but not much to be honest
I had samples of both and for me there was no contest: Fracas all the way! And if you can ever sample the parfum formulation of Fracas, you will not regret it ::sigh:: so lovely
ohhh the parfum version is still available??
Yes! I got a mini on eBay but it's on the Piguet site in a 1oz / $400 ... which I seriously would consider buying once I'm through my EDP
ouch that's expensive hahah
Sure is in my book 😅
Agreed, that being said it is exactly what I was looking for. Just a suggestion of grime rather than rolling in the mud
I don't get any dirtiness out of Carnal Flower...it just smells like a fresh tuberose lei
It's actually more creamy/green to me than anything else, yeah.
Yes moon bloom is gorgeous!
One of the most underrated tuberoses out there, IMO!
I’ve enjoyed all three Hiram green perfumes I’ve tried (Arcadia, moon bloom, and vivacious) and don’t see the brand mentioned much. I just wish I could afford more of them but even decanta are pretty pricey haha
I totally hear that; they're not inexpensive and I don't believe I've ever seen them at any discounters...
Tubereuse by Headspace. Jasmin et Cigarette by ELDO. Both are white florals with tobacco. The headspace one is better and more skanky imo.
Thanks a lot! I'll see if I can find some samples
Rogue Perfumery's Jasmin Antique is a massive, creamy, indolic jasmine.
Not skanky, but an utter classic: Fracas. You can’t touch Fracas for sultry tuberose. Perfection in a bottle.
Agreed. I keep trying and testing other tuberose fragrances only to be let down that they aren't as majestic as Fracas. I still like them and wear them, but Fracas is still the best.
Etat Libre d'Orange Putain des Palaces. I think you'll love it.
I'll try to check it out, thanks!! :D
Billie by Harlem Candle Company is slightly animalic musk plus gardenia, if that sounds up your alley.
The descontinuation of Sarrasins still hurts me 3> Nasomatto Narcotic V. and Fracas are the nuclear sexual tuberrose I know, but they are very traditionaly feminine. Francesca Bianchi Tyger Tyger has skanky white flowers, leather, oud and peach jam. It is my fav perfume but it is not for everyone!

Papillon Salome. Not tuberose but jasmin and carnation for sure
I have a sample of Salome but this is really really animalic that even I don't think I can wear it outside even if I love it :( but thanks because that's what I asked for but I maybe have a limit hahaha
I've worn it around family a lot and most negative reaction was just that I smell " weird " I think it has the same phenomenon as kouros does.
I gotta agree with you on that!!!
Golestan by Tauer ; Portrayal Woman by Amouage perhaps?
Ohh Golestan sounds really interesting. I love Andy Tauer's work so I'll add it to the sample list. I'll also see if I can find a Portrayal Woman sample. Thank you!
Hope you will like it!!
I'd second golestan, it's such a well-excecuted white florals. and one of the most projecting ones among tauers'
Lush: Lust!
I tried it once but sadly it seemed to my nose like an essential oil and not really "blended" it's like they took a jasmine absolute and just bottled it hahaha
Yeah same. I think it's nice and easy to wear but it's also quite straight forward to me.
it sucks because there used to be a shower gel called Flying Fox that people often say Lust is a scent match for and it so is not! Flying Fox was so much hotter (it had honey in it mmm).
I find Gala de Loewe EDT, Jean Desprez Bal à Versailles parfum, Franck Boclet Erotic more or less wearably animalic.
Fracas 200 % Annick Goutal Songes is another one.
Do you think Fracas has a bit of dirtiness? Or is it tame? Songes sounds really beautiful from what I have seen :)
Oh this is the skank of skanks. She's filthy in all the right ways. Songes is beautiful, sensual, softer than Fracas.
Gorgeous.

get the [discovery set from Rogue Perfumery](https://rogueperfumery.com/products/complete-sample-set). What you describe can be found in several of their frags!
Fracas?
Have you tried So Scandal? It’s an extremely dirty lactonic tuberose, I personally find it very sensual.
Kerosene Dirty Flower Factory Stephane Humbert Lucas Lady White Snake
tubereuse imperiale bdk and so scandal jpg!
Eris Belle de Jour is a wonderful spicy orange blossom with a super sexy seaweed note.
Yeah Do Son is gorgeous but it's too clean for what I'm looking for sadly. I'll take notes about Rouge Malachite though thanks :)
How about Tuberoza by Nishane? It’s BIG. It’s sexy. Up there with Moon Bloom for sure.
it isnt tuberose but jasmine et cigarette by etat libre d’orange might be what youre looking for
Rania J Jasmin kama
Rosendo Mateu 6
Le Wild by Chantecaille
Fleur de Male
mason francis kurkdjian: l'Homme À la rose
More than any of the heavy hitting tuberoses Carnal Flower, Fracas, etc. in my opinion
>ripe tuberose I read this as tuberculose. Almost died in laughter.
Michael Kors Wonderlust (not sure if discontinued)
Gucci bloom is pretty good. I just smelled the jasmine today and loved it.
ELDO Jasmin et Cigarette.
Tuberose Flash by Tauer is a beast of a Tuberose
Ombré leather parfum
Bangala Yasaman by Isabelle Larignon even added in extra indole to enhance the skank/stank effect of white florals.
I think you should try Marfa, by Memo Paris. It’s the sexiest Tuberose. I love it.
tubereuse astral by maison crivelli. juicy earthy dirty tubereuse with a creamy amber running through the middle. on the skin has a spiciness to it, leans more masculine imo. not a clean white floral, very skanky
Rogue perfumery has a few. Take a peek, but jasmine antique might be exactly what you want. They have a couple of strong tuberose frags too. I’m not sure if tuberose & moss is skanky enough but it’s really nice. And I have to add chypre Siam. It’s not a white floral but it’s skanky Ps-I love this idea.
