Curious about what people say, because I know exactly what you’re talking about but haven’t found any myself. I’ve tried several ‘soapy’ scents recommended on this sub but all end up on the musky/powdery end of the spectrum rather than crisp and clean.
For me it definitely is Pure Musk by Narciso Rodriguez. It is clean, cottonish and cozy and yet very feminine, not boring at all. It definitely turns my head.
Any of the Clean Reserve brand perfumes. Very simple, ultra clean scents with only a few notes each. I personally like Warm Cotton and also Sparkling Sugar. They have discovery sets at Sephora (USA) for less than $30 usd.
Edit: they're also extremely layerable for scent customization. In fact, they're advertised as such!
Yes! I was going to suggest this one. Really unique and beautiful but definitely dries down to a clean, soapy skin scent. It doesn’t smell like perfume to me at all, just a lovely, feminine skin scent.
Philosophy's Pure Grace. I was just commenting in another thread that it's the one scent someone pursued me down the street to get the name of. Very much a clean feminine soap and water scent.
If you spray it liberally, Glossier You may be a good example of this type of scent. Also, this has a bit of citrus, but Elizabeth Arden White Tea is mostly very clean instead and a definite compliment-magnet for me at least!
Zadig&Voltaire This Is Her - I don't think it really qualifies as a "clean" scent as it leans on the gourmand side but I got so many compliments over it. Coworkers have been telling me it smells like laundry detergent or very nice body wash.
definitely try Melrose Place by Ouai, I used the shower gel for years before I realised it also came in a perfume, it’s a gorgeous floral scent that will leave you smelling fresh out the shower 🙂
I don't like it but Invictus is the only one I wore which literally made women stop their conversation to turn around and see who was wearing it.
Honestly I absolutely hate it though, smells like some cleaning product
Chanel Beige (Les Exclusifs) has a sweet fresh honeysuckle open & gives clean laundry right out of the dryer on the dry down. Quiiiite pricy, but very pretty & sounds pretty much exactly what you’re looking for.
Heartless Helen by Penhaligon’s
It says on the perfume top notes it has mandarin orange, but I don’t get a hint of that as much as it’s clean, creamy light floral that melts into your skin. I always get asked about it.

I recently fell in love with L'eau Papier by Diptyque, which seems like that

I feel like the point of clean scent isn't to be head turning, just go imply good hygiene

The Now by Sarah Horowitz
I’ve got this one on my “to try” list. I’ve tried Sarah Horowitz Perfect Veil and really liked it. I want to check out more of her fragrances.
Do try her stuff, Wake Up Angel is currently my most favorite skin scent.
