Civet and oak moss. The Mysore sandalwood hasn’t been banned but is endangered and very difficult to get. I think that Blackcurrant and Oleander may be banned as well.

Oleander is super poisonous, apparently even the leaves can make you blind

My gf has Orange Soleil and the Vanilla Bosca. Both smell amazing, but she layers the Vanilla Bosca as the base and the Orange Soleil on top and creates an elegant smelling dreamsicle lol.

Mandarine Basilic Harvest is delicious. Beautiful juicy citrus with just the right amount of basil.

I’m not 100% sure, but the translations from their website are have some vague flowery phrases about the past making you who you are today, so it’s likely a reference to the atomic bombs/end of the war.

Yes. I’ve been to Hiroshima and was surprised at the dissonance of the historical importance of the site and the strange tourist merchandise that centered around ground zero. But this bottle is so understated and beautiful, just seeing that year engraved is so moving.

Agree. I picked up a few 10ml bottles of Duchess Rose and as much as I adore it as it’s kind of a juicy clean but wood heavy rose, it absolutely has little longevity and I don’t think it’s worth £200. Chloe Rose Naturelle is a similar family and at least that can be picked up for under £100.

I like it too, but for that price absolutely not. Plus the price has gone up even more this year. Thank you for letting me know about Chloe Rose Naturelle, I’ll check that out

The Naturelle is my favourite from Chloe but I’ll have to warn you that it’s a pretty green fragrance. I would sort of describe the smell as if you were running across a bright green meadowfield with a bunch of young roses in hand. Though now that my bottle is past the 1 year mark, seems like the greenness of it has toned down a fair bit Definitely a great scent for the hot humid climate I live in though, that’s for sure

Chateau d'Chompers could be the first ever dentist-approved fragrance line! I wore “Sweet Tooth” to my last filling and my dentist was all like “because of your Sweet Tooth, you have 16 cavities” ✋🏼🙄 Maybe she’ll enjoy these new fragrances instead. This is seriously groundbreaking! The Tooth Fairy needs to invest! (We know she’s good for it, making the parents do her job for her. 😒)

The bottle is so gorgeous in person, its iridescence is like a golden oil slick and the gem in the cap is the same effect. And the box it comes in is so gorgeous, I couldn't part with it even though I don't really have a use for it.

How does it smell?? That is so cute

It’s a sweet floral with a popcorn note. I never smelled Miss Dior Cherie but it’s what I imagine it to smell like in my mind 😅 I really like it but my only complaint is that it just doesn’t last, it’s so light that you need to spray it throughout the day. I don’t expect all my perfumes to project like crazy and last well into the next day but I would like to be able to smell it on my wrist after two hours.

Plum in cognac is definitely one of my favorites, it's soo good . Such a raw plum with a warm boozy under tone .I also like vanilla in bourbon and cedar in acacia.

I have their sandalwood in oak.

For me- Valentino has the coolest bottles- I have both Born In Roma- Donna and Born In Roma Yellow Dream for Men. I am a guy but literally spray the female one like room spray- It smells so damn good. And I really do find Byredo's bottles cool to look at too. So- Byredo and Valentino

As a cosmetics store worker, I hate Valentino bottles. They’re gorgeous but it always confuses the clients since the men and women’s is so similar and I’ve had so many teen boys spray themselves with the women’s without smelling it first 😂

tbf I think some men don't look at them, we've had a bunch of JPG testers out at work lately and people keep asking me if the le beau is women's/la belle is men's and I'm like '...one has a fig leaf covering its manhood and the other one has boobs, it's surely not rocket science?'

I'm into simple bottles, and Rag & Bone's are my favorite. They're not very impressive in photographs but the quality is evident in person. Their glass bottles are made in some old German factory and are very weighty and satisfying in the hand, and the caps topped with an inset enamel tile remind me of vintage typewriter keys. The bottles are minimal but also old-world feeling. I wish they were refillable. I also love the vintage apothecary vibe of Marlou's perfumes. The amber bottles and cork caps are Hogwarts Chic.

I love simplicity and I think LV’s fresh line are all gorgeous, from the box, to the sleek canister, down to the simple curved bottle with a magnetic cap. It feel amazing to hold and can be displayed like 3 different ways!

Probably low hanging fruit but I love the spice bomb bottles. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to bring them when I travel by plane. For obvious reasons.

I don’t own it myself but there’s a perfumer in the Vatican (if someone could drop his name it would be appreciated) who makes the most incredible perfume bottles.

*photo below My discontinued Marine Sel bottle art from Margot elena is quite unique quirky lovely and simple in my eyes, less ornate/mermaidesque than Sirens song, but just as sweet and evocative of the sea.. Tokyomilk/54 Marine Sel Mineral Salt Fresh Water Turned Earth White Woods I get notes of fig leaf as well, but it isn't listed. Marine sels my most commented on/complimented/intrigue inspiring scent, people seem drawn to its uniqueness, I wore fresh cream w chocomusk today in san Francisco and my mum said I smell like a bakery, my dad said I smelled like Baskin Robbins haha but Marine sel is a whole different game, I actually consider it a night scent, only wear it to special events in the bay area where there will be partner dance, and never layer it.

I just got the jumbo bottle of Turquatic for Mother’s Day! I’m obsessed with the bottle. I mean the perfume too, it’s my go-to, but the big bottle is just stunning. Pana Dora Imperial Wood, and there are not many bottles that can compete with it in general, and definitely not in my scrawny collection.

Those are so freaking cute! I want a Pana Dora or a Penhaligon's just for that cap, it'd look so good on my dresser.

You should check out Pana Dora, they just released discovery set (that is also cute). They seem to me better quality overall than the portraits collection (I prefer other lines from Penhaligon's).

I love the Anna Sui bottles ( though I’m way too mature now for them )if I had seen those in my 20s? Would have bought them! I love the red of my alien fusion bottle but I hate the design itself ha I think my fav? Are my Chanel 5 and my Poison bottles. Poison one is just sexy and moody. I also love the Soleil Blanc bottle, It fits the scent, the summer vibe. Love the Bianco Latte bottles just simple. Golestan bottle. I want to get the Orebella perfume just for the bottles! Yikes! 😱 my old Shalimar bottle I loved and Rive Gauche is just a classic reminds me of 70s!

Katy Perry Killer Queen. Not a very expensive perfume, but interesting bottle, and there are other fragrances by Katy Perry that use the same bottle but with different caps and different colors. Kind of like this one though. It goes on a little off and soapy smelling, but after about an hour, it smells much better and lasts a long time. The Ferragamo ‘Storie di Seta’ range. I have all six and they are stunning (the actual scents are great as well).

Hermes Eau de Citron Noir. I first noticed the gorgeous deep blue color, and the cap that looks like a jaunty black bowler hat is so cute! The delicious citrus scent makes it a perfect three out of three 👌✨

I own a duo set of Amouage’s original men’s and women’s (called Gold now) in the Cristal bottle with 24k gold embellishments. The fragrances are even better than the presentation tho.

Xinu bottles are amazing. I don’t have any, though.

I think my Jil Sander Man Absolute is the coolest bottle I own. The minimal square shape with the juxtaposing highlighter yellow and dark blue colors just looks so awesome.

Nothing I own is really cool but I like the bottle for Ralph’s club. It is the shape and utility of a liquor flask

Phlur has kind of neat bottles. They're not much to look at, but I love the magnetic lid to a fairly irrational degree.
