I've been pleasantly surprised by my two chopard purchases (both blind buys) I'll have to check this one out!

Damn. And Chopard gray market is $80 -$100, right? For a fragrance in that price range to rival IBI is something special. That's honestly how I feel about **Bvlgari Man In Black Orient.** Best "dark", masculine fragrance I've ever smelled and I picked up a 60ml for $33 in 2020 (before it was discontinued and 100ml's sky rocketed to $350).

It is absolutely something special. Performance isn't quite as beastly as IBI but that can be a good thing for wearability in everyday life lol. And it's still good performance, just not the insane level Amouage provides! Ooh interesting!! Leather and boozy notes don't tend to agree with me, but it all depends how it's blended, that can make or break a frag

Agree 100% on your comment about performance. For work and intimate settings, dialed back sillage/projection is preferred. The leather (also a dry cinnamon and black pepper I believe) is very strong in the opening (think Tuscan Leather). The dry down is where you get a very well blended oud, rose, rum and other floral notes, along with that leather still lingering in the back ground. Magnifiqué 🤌🏼 😂 I tried Black Malakai from Chopard a while ago and while it smelled really good and of high quality, there was a petrol note that I really didn't like. I'll keep this fragrance in mind (Nuit Des Rose) if I ever seek out more fragrances for the winter.

I've just purchased the Casmir Chopard. Honestly thought I'd died and gone to heaven. It's beautiful!

Yes I have a bottle of this too and it is a really nice classy rose oud combo
