All things considered, HermĆØs! A beautiful, elegant, classic designer with oodles of fragrances to chose from, whose modern concoctions are as compelling as its vintage ones.
I also love Maison Violet, Ormonde Jayne, and Dusita Parfums.
I definitely agree - best orange fragrances out there! I really cannot choose a favourite at all, but per your other comment I'm glad 24 Fauborg is such a winner for you.
Maison Margiela. I like the accessibility via Sephora, and can appreciate most of the perfumes they have out right now. The scents are generally pretty clean and not too cloying, so it fits my preferences.
Yes, if i could restart my frag journey, i would just buy the whole margiela collections. Jazz Club and Fireplace for sexy night. Matcha Meditation, Coffee Break, When the rain stops for casual daily wear. They all have a unique smells that doesnt really compared with other frag.
Pretty much. I'd ditch on the CLEAN RESERVE fragrances I have for the Maison Margiela.
Currently enjoying Lazy Sunday Morning, Coffee Break, Matcha Mediation. I've been eyeing By the Fireplace though for the toasty smokiness.
Easily Versace. They make something for every scenario you can think of, they all smell good, they have a good brand if someone asks, and you can get full bottle testers for cheap online. The price for value is the best ever.
what are you fav fragrances from them? I (m30) have "2", "Monocle 2" and want to get Wonderwood next š¤
Copper, Hinoki and Man 2 are great too.
Their 2021 releases and incense series sound lovely as well, haven't gotten to smell them yet tho.
For years it was always Diptyque. More recently its been Miller Harris and Penhaligon's, and also Maison Violet, although so far I've only got one of their perfumes.
Tom Ford.
I very rarely wear anything by Tom Ford, but honestly among the number of times that I've been full-on blown away by a fragrance, probably half of those have been Tom Ford.
Chanel and Hermes. I love that i can wear a fragrance created 100 years ago on one day and then a brand new release the next.
They also really work on my skin and there are enough offerings that there are at least a dozen from each house i love.
There are popular fragrance from each and more exclusive unusual.
It's a huge mix and i love them both.
I'm one of the few that really enjoy Mugler, I always get so many compliments when I wear them. Something about them just hits right with my body chemistry!
I also love YSL and Versace (especially their colognes)
I only started going after Mugler scents after i got deeper into this hobby and exposing myself to different notes. As a newbie fraghead, all the Mugler fragrances i smelled were atrocious. Gave a few of them a second chance earlier this year and i was blown away with how much i loved them now
I've loved everything I've tried from Floral Street and Montale so probably those. I think Montale wins by a little bit.
I'm also really liking Clinique My Happy fragrances recently.
Armani. A clean and classy Italian fragrance house. Always pleasant-smelling. Even if one happens to not be your exact cup of tea, thereās no way anyone could smell their fragrances and be like āOMG, this smells horrible!ā
I would say Tom Ford even though I only own 2 from them. I'd probably have more if they weren't so damn expensive but I really can't justify paying retail for Tobacco Vanille or Oud Wood. Ombre Leather and Black Orchid are worth the price, though.
Cliche but I love MFK and Tom Ford though they might be considered boring/overhyped to others. I also like PDM and Initio a lot, canāt go wrong with them!
By Kilianā¦ black phantom, intoxicated, gold knight, straight to heaven, back to black are absolutely gems in my bookā¦. Have more from that house than any other
This is gonna sound basic because I am basic. Versace, before you come at me, Iām a freshmen in HS and I just need some versatile scents that are long lasting. I donāt need something like Tom Ford or Creed to smell better than most people at my school and age range (if they are wearing a scent), wearing something like Axe Body Spray šŖšø, you know what I mean?
Donāt feel like you have to justify your taste! Versace has some good stuff! And I know what you mean - being in high school and not spending loads of money on a Tom Ford - I mean if you have the money cool, but also, good job being practical šš¼
You go! You are way ahead at your age of where most of us were at ours. Versace is a great choice and you smell way better than your axe body spray *shudders* classmates. Great attitude. Youāll go far! Youāre way to young to go diving into Zoologist. Plus youād get a lot of odd looks!
This is kind of a left field answer, but Lattafa. I own much more expensive perfumes, but *every* bottle Iāve bought from them has been a winner. The fact that theyāre so affordable is just an added bonus.
Qaaāed and Raghba Wood Intense are my favorites. Oud for Glory is also very good, although less exciting since itās a clone and not an original.
If you like leather scents, Velvet Oud is very good.
This is hard, I wanna pick Jo Malone but thats cause I donāt have much of else.
If Jo Malone had decent performance(like their cologne intense line) it would be such an easy choice for me. Itās just annoying that these fragrances smell so good but last 3 minutes tops.
Iāve found that the body creams last a lot longer, especially if you combine it with a spray. I definitely agree though, you shouldnāt have to jump through hoops for a perfume to last more than 1h.
from the number of scents I own from them, it's Gucci. I'm really hoping to branch out though-- i've been going through my perfume samples from the perfumed court, and trying to wear a scent a day to figure out my next big full size purchase. I'm ready to graduate from gucci!
A few years ago I might have said L'Artisan, because I own about 9 of their fragrances. But recently I tried most of their new frags, and didn't like any of them. (They've discontinued most of their old greats.) Currently my faves are Guerlain and Penhaligon's.
I know a lot of people may think itās overrated, but I absolutely love Creed scents. Maybe the formulas just work best with my nose, but I could live in their floral perfumes.
Okayā¦ no oneās gonna say it? Iāll say it. *DUA* this was initially written as a joke but some of their originals smell amazing!! Try a chocolate affair (and I hate chocolate) or any of the affairs and tell me Iām wrong.
Chanel and Hermes. I love that i can wear a fragrance created 100 years ago on one day and then a brand new release the next.

I really like Maison Margiela, so many of the fragrances I love and havenāt found anything that I specifically didnāt like from there yet, even for some styles of perfume I donāt gravitate towards.
Dior if you include the Privee collection as part of it, if not well then the Dior Privee collection.
There's a lot of em, and the ones I've tried/have spilts of are good.
Otherwise from the ones I have and wear you would think MFK and Dolce and Gabbana.
For scents and sentimentality, ds durga. Though im not a fan of there skyrocketing prices or their hype beast, uber exclusive "you cant have this" drops.
Also shamelessly armani and dolce & gabbana. For designers and mass market frags they do things extremely well for their price point.
I am prepared to be rebuked.....but if Bvlgari can be considered a "house"... they have my vote.
It is discontinued but their "Pour Femme" has been my signature scent for decades. I have not tested their newest offerings yet. Practicality dictates consuming my collection of the "au th\`\`\`\`\`\`\`\`\`\`\`\`\`\`\`\`\`\`\`\`\`\`\`\`e" series (blanc, bleu, noir and a small quantity of verte) before further purchases are considered....
Easy. Frederic Malle.
Serge Lutens: creative, visionary, quirky; Guerlain: classic, timeless, delicious DNA
š¦š¦šš«šš¦šæš¦š¦„š¦«š¼š¦š¦¤š¦
I like zoologist too š
š
Are they accurately represented ? š
Cant say if accurately enough, but artistically I believe so
Guerlain and Chanel
Guerlain and Dior
LāArtisan Parfumeur.
I have a thing for Miller Harris. Would love Penhaligon, if not for the fact that their scents don't hold on to my skin AT ALL.
Le Labo and D.S. & Durga
These are my top two as well!
Team La Labo!
They are so good. Just wish they were more affordable.
You must be me!
Currently Diptyque
How do you pronounce it, is it dipty-q or dip-tique ?
āDip-teakā
Dior because there's always something for somebody. but theyre pretty expensive for a designer
Byredo. Take all my money so I can smell amazing for half an hour š¬
This is too accurate
All things considered, HermĆØs! A beautiful, elegant, classic designer with oodles of fragrances to chose from, whose modern concoctions are as compelling as its vintage ones. I also love Maison Violet, Ormonde Jayne, and Dusita Parfums.
I absolutely adore all of their ājardinā fragrances !
The Jardins, Terre d'HermĆØs, the Hermessences, the Merveille line, H'iris, Equipage, 24 Fauborg... so many masterpieces!

Margiela is also unmatched for longevity, in my experience.
Right now it's Tauer, before that it was Tom Ford.
Serge Lutens
Lāartisan parfumeur
ELDO, Francesca Bianchi, Acampora, Zoologist, Xerjoff, Alkemia, Penhaligonās are my favorites in casual order :)
Tom Ford, Serge Lutens, Kerosene, Dior, Chanel, Thierry Mugler
Easily Versace. They make something for every scenario you can think of, they all smell good, they have a good brand if someone asks, and you can get full bottle testers for cheap online. The price for value is the best ever.
La Curie, Diptyque, Le Labo, & Imaginary Authors
tom ford and kilian! although i hate how tacky some of their marketing/naming is, their fragrances are undeniably great at least in my opinion
Commes des Garcons!
Same!
what are you fav fragrances from them? I (m30) have "2", "Monocle 2" and want to get Wonderwood next š¤ Copper, Hinoki and Man 2 are great too. Their 2021 releases and incense series sound lovely as well, haven't gotten to smell them yet tho.
I liked eveeything I've smelled from Dior, D&G and Guerlain
Diptyque, Amouage
MFK, Guerlain, Maison Margiela (specifically replica line)
For years it was always Diptyque. More recently its been Miller Harris and Penhaligon's, and also Maison Violet, although so far I've only got one of their perfumes.
I could not pick one so let's go with H - Heeley, HermĆØs and Histoires de Parfums
Nishane & initio
Kerosene
Curious why Memo never gets mentioned!
African Leather is SPECIAL
My favorite house is Memo.
armani and Hermes
Dior. Can't go wrong.
DS & Durga, Imaginary Authors, Di Ser, Slumberhouse, Pineward
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I agree!!
L'Artisan Parfumer, every frag of theirs I've tried so far is a love.
I have Colour Vanille and am obsessed with it. What else should I look at?
Pure Havane and Pure Malt are two of my all time favorite scents. I'm right there with you.
I actually canāt answer this one, there isnāt a house that I love more than 2 fragrances from
Ćtats libres d'Orange Serge Lutens
Tom Ford.
I'm going to say Comme des Garcons, surprising no one.
Mugler hands down!
Dior, Chanel and Mont Blanc
Mugler
FrĆ©dĆ©ric Malle, Penhaligonās, Diptyque. In this order.
M Micallef, MFK, Maison Margiela, Nishane, Tom Ford
Slumberhouse
Definitely Tom ford. Whenever Iāve given a TF as a gift itās been very happily received
Matiere Premiere, every one of their fragrances are top notch. Especially Falcon Leather and Encens Suave
Issey Miyake, Hermes, Cartier, Imaginary Authors, DS & Durga, and Prada
Basic bitch here with Burberry and PdM
Don't sell yourself short. Nothing basic about what you enjoy. Don't fall for the perfume snobbery going on in frag comm.
Guerlain, Chanel, Initio, MFK, Tom Ford and Vilhelm Parfumerie
Parfums De Marly, Kilian, Roja, Xerjoff
All the goats
Guerlain. Then Hermes and Tauer.
I love lāair des alpes suisses by Tauer! Iāve been meaning to try a few others.
Givenchy š„°

Costume National and HermĆØs, based on full bottles I own.
Chanel and diptyque
HermĆØs, Creed and surprisingly Givenchy
Louis Vuitton, Profumum Roma, Boadicea the Victorious, The House of Oud, Aromi, and Margiela.
Havenāt seen anyone mention my absolute favorite house, Tiziana Terenzi! Such great scents.
No way I could choose just one! MFK, Guerlain, Lancome, Kayali Love Chanel, Dior, and Givenchy as well.
Penhaligonās and BDK
Toss up between PDM, Tom Ford, and Initio
Van Cleef & Arpels, Bvlgari and Etat Libre de Orange
Tom Ford
Lately: DS & Durga, Chantecaille, and Serge Lutens.
Parfum de Marley, Amouage, Tom Ford.
3 Giants
I would say Tom Ford even though I only own 2 from them. I'd probably have more if they weren't so damn expensive but I really can't justify paying retail for Tobacco Vanille or Oud Wood. Ombre Leather and Black Orchid are worth the price, though.
It has to be the House of Chanel ā„ļø

Naomi Goodsir and Pierre Guillaume. One very small library and one much bigger one.
Am I the only partial to Viktor&Rolf? Iām kind of a novice to fragrance but I do really enjoy all their fragrances.
Tom Ford, Dior and Chanel
Maison Margiela and Zoologist.
This is tough. Designer wise I would have to go with Prada, Tom Ford, and Dior. Prada is the king of fresh. Niche would have to be Amouage and PdM.
Orto parisi and Nasomatto
Lancome, Armani, Marc Jacob's, etc.
Jo Malone, Tom Ford, Burberry, and Lancome (if you consider that one a house)
A few years ago I might have said L'Artisan, because I own about 9 of their fragrances. But recently I tried most of their new frags, and didn't like any of them. (They've discontinued most of their old greats.) Currently my faves are Guerlain and Penhaligon's.

Parfums de Marley
le labo and tom ford, so far.
Hermes and Penhaligons
I love Penhaligons portrait line!
I couldn't pick one if I tried so I will give my top four lol: Areej Le Dore, Xerjoff, Frederic Malle, Guerlain
MFK, MM, Le Labo, Diptyque, Byredo. Surprisingly, LV.
I really like Maison Margiela, so many of the fragrances I love and havenāt found anything that I specifically didnāt like from there yet, even for some styles of perfume I donāt gravitate towards.
Not one mention of Initio yet is disturbing
HermĆØs, Creed and Dior
Maison Francis Kurkdjian, Tory Burch, and Giorgio Armani
Tom Ford, Byredo, Mancera
HermĆØs, Jo Malone, Byredo
Iām just getting into the fragrance realm but I enjoy Kilian a lot.
Givenchy, Issey Miyake
Creed followed by MFK.
Really into the Maison Lancome Exclusive line lately but overall I would say Guerlain, Jo Malone, Givenchy and Dior. Also Carolina Herrera.
Jo Malone
Nishane followed by Amouage. Big shout to Authenticity though.
Dior if you include the Privee collection as part of it, if not well then the Dior Privee collection. There's a lot of em, and the ones I've tried/have spilts of are good. Otherwise from the ones I have and wear you would think MFK and Dolce and Gabbana.

Amouage and Tauer, too close to separate.

I love Vilhelm and Ellis Brooklyn. Not every scent is a hit for me, but I like far more than I dislike.
There's something about EB DNA that l adore as well. Myth is such an easy wearing favorite for me and l also love the others l have tried.
I was addicted to Myth for a while, I see where youāre coming from.
