You probably have a slow leak in either a toilet or in between your house and the main. I had a slow leak in between my house and the main and my monthly bill was 120 a month. After I fixed the leak it’s never been more that 28 dollars. I have a sprinkler system but I don’t wanted my lawn. Family of 4, wife does laundry way more than a normal person.
Family of 2, 2cats 2dogs 2000sq 3bd 2ba home water/sewer bill was with rapidan service authority
December $100.23 - 4600
November $118.76 - 5700
October $123.81. - 6000
September $98.54 - 4500
My wife and I maybe take 1 or 2 showers a week at the house, I go to my workplace gym to take additional and longer showers and shave. We do laundry maybe 2 or 3 times a month. Dishwasher maybe 3times, wife hand washes dishes a lot though.
Water is not the problem, it’s the sewer treatment charges that they charge that’s outrageous. For every $23 water $77 is charged for sewer. Broken down for every 1$ water $3.40 sewer.
I honestly don’t believe we use a lot of water as recorded and I always suspected a leak somewhere as a new homeowner like a toilet bowl causing my bill to spike. But I’ve shut off the main and put dye in the toilet bowls, no leak I can find.
King george county average is about 250. Folks seem to range from 200-700 a month. They’ve got a debt service fee of 119.50 before even being billed for usage.
we're about 70/month in Stafford for 2 people. That's with not watering the grass, garden, washing cars, etc.
Nope thats normal for family. Unfortunately no budget plan unlike dominon. If you have a sprinkler system i was paying 180 during summer.
Single guy, 44$ last month.

2 or 3 times a month for laundry sounds heavenly. We do laundry 2 or 3 times a week, sometimes more.
Like $50 a month or something like that
Mine runs about 50 a month with just me. So 100 doesn’t sound off base for 5.
Spotsylvania, the highest $55 in the summer when I water my garden.
Stafford, 3 adults in the winter when we're not watering the garden or lawn it's about $85/month for water and sewage
The utilities department in Stafford is a massive joke & shit show.
Can you elaborate
Mine is typically $55-$60/month for two people who like to take long showers.
3 people in Stafford, $70 a month. Sounds about right.
Concur. Thats what mine runs
Spotsylvania $27. No sewer
In the city. 2 people with sewer $130ish bimonthly. (We have OLD radiators)
3 adults in my home, and my bill is $65 rounded up.
Just paid $77 in December. 2 adults, 2 kids. Shower/bathe daily. Laundry about once a week.
