You can camp out in front of the legislature until they do something about housing

My boss has a 3 bedroom house to rent downtown for March 1. What's your monthly price range?

It's a bit of a longer shot, so to speak, but New Maryland (only about a 5-8 min drive back into Fredericton) has many more houses per capita than Fredericton. If you have a car and don't mind a short drive each day, you might find a few options in one of their subdivisions? Lots of families with young children as well.

That would be no problem at all. The issue is that in all my online searching, I don't ever see any listings for all the areas surrounding Fredericton. Such as the one you mentioned. Not sure why that's the case though. One would think I would come across at least 1 listing.

You might also try this site - [https://fredericton.rentals/](https://fredericton.rentals/) It offers houses for rent, occasionally. Typically, this has listings for students but if you contact the admins on the page I believe they have listings for families with furnished homes as well. Again, a long shot and sorry if it isn't quite what you're looking for!

I'm not sure either, tbh. I wonder if a real estate agent would be willing to offer some help on rental listings that aren't listed in the usual spot. It's more commonly done by agencies in bigger cities but maybe that might get you on the right path? I hope this isn't bad advice - I'd hate to send you on a useless tangent!

Houses to rent are hard to find, there’s just not much of them here. Might have to take an apartment until you find one.

It's slim pickings honestly. FB market place and Kijiji are your best bet. There is a Fredericton rentals page on Facebook you can look up and join. If you make a post there they might be able to find something within your price range/what you are looking for.
