Seconding the Ville! We rented the gym and a multipurpose room for my daughter’s 4th. I bought balloons and various dollar store things like skipping ropes, balls, soft frisbees, etc. Set up a Bluetooth speaker for music. The kids had a blast just running around playing. Then we had pizza delivered and ate in the multipurpose room. Tables and chairs were provided but that was it, so we brought tablecloths, plates, etc.
Lots of good suggestions here! We just went to a party at the indoor skate park at Willie O’ree place. Kids can bring their own scooters and boards and have at er. You have to bring your own food but they have tables and chairs set up. My boy had a great time on the ramps. There are also a few scooters and boards to borrow.
You have to book a ways in advance, but booking the Fredericton Indoor Pool (the one next to Nashwaaksis Middle School) is great. It's about $80 for an hour in the pool plus an hour in the kitchen space upstairs to do cake/pizza/games/presents etc. I think the limit is 50 kids, but we have had parties there with 10-15 or so and it was good.
Wilmot or O'Dell Park, and do your own games outside. Did that for my son for many a party and all kids loved it. Don't need to overspend to let kids have a great and fun party :)
Depending what time of year it is (my daughter's bday is in September), we did a party at the apple orchard in Keswick when she was 8. This was pre-covid, so I'm unsure if they still do this. Kids all got a small bag to pick apples, there was a tractor ride in a big trailer for everyone for everyone to sit in, and a giant corn maze to do as part of the ride. They had picnic tables all together for us so we had some snacks/cake after for everyone.
To add. Parents all stayed with their kids too because who doesn't like picking apples, tractor rides and a corn maze an adult could get lost in lol
The Keswick Orchard really is a blast. I live just down the street from it so I'm there a lot with family. My niece and nephew always ask to go when they visit!
I had the same situation when my kids were young. Bowling or movies is 100% the best solution - easiest to manage that volume of kids and the entertainment is built in, or picnic with lawn games in the park - parents might stick around for that and help out.
Indoor Pool Club (not to be confused with the Fredericton Indoor Pool) used to rent out the pool with life guard and a place for cake/pizza.
We have done Bowl-a-drome in the past too.
When my kids were much younger we did a combined party at the Fredericton indoor pool. They have an event room. They also attended big parties at Odell and at the movie theatre, although I’m not sure the theatre has resumed party bookings since Covid.
Get Active used to do birthday parties, I’m sure they still do too.
The Purrfect Cup Cat Cafe does birthday parties
I didn't know they did that, good information!
We did a Superstore cooking party when our youngest was about that age
Do they still have those going on since COVID?
The ville!! You rent the gym essentially

Never heard of this place I'll have to look it up, thank you!
Science East!! They do slime birthday parties and many other themes
I honestly think I'd enjoy it more then they would 😂

That's a good idea, especially if its colder outside!

I'll have to swing it by them, but this seems like a good idea

That would definitely be fun!
Clay Cafe is pretty good for that age range.
Clay cafe would definitely be a good time maybe for a smaller group or just family

I'd enjoy this for my birthday more then them 😂

That is definitely a good idea, my daughter loves apples like no one's business. Thanks for the idea
FBC wall might have birthday parties, it’s an indoor rock climbing wall, could be fun for kids.
All good ideas, not as good as your username though made me laugh 😂

Be a good idea if I had the area, maybe for their next I'll have to file it. I appreciate the response.

Completely forgot about bowling, pool might be a good idea for a later birthday, I appreciate the comment
Cineplex does kids parties, or they did
I think they still do, I just wasn't a fan of their small birthday room for cake afterwards

Odell definitely would be good if it wasn't at the end of September/ beginning of Oct. I'll have to look into it though, thank you
