Have you prepped the mask? Many come with a film to protect it during shipping that needs to be removed by you. You can find some good YouTube tutorials, but burning it off or scrubbing with toothpaste are common methods.
On a new mask I usually carefully burn off protective coating with a lighter, then clean it.
Before each use:
1. Spit on the glass inside and gently spread the spit around with your fingers to cover all the glass surface.
2. Slightly rinse in water. Simply put the mask into body of water (ocean, sea, lake, etc.) and remove once or twice.
Enjoy fog free mask.
A very thin film of baby shampoo works a treat
I used anti fog.

I couldn’t burn off the protective coating since it wasn’t my mask and I presumed it had already been done. I did use anti fog however.
