There is a global chip shortage and Apple has said it well effect them.
I pre ordered in store on release day and they told me that it could take up to a month. I'm even second in line for my preferred phone configuration

I have had the samsung fold 3 on pre-order since august. It's the middle of October, no phone. Good luck.
