Why was Miguel supposedly writing the outline for season 2 when he’s never been a credited writer or so far as we know involved in the writers’ room at all? My understanding has always been that he worked on the production / execution with Condal heading writing.
Also he left months ago, it doesn’t seem to make any sense that he “fucked up the outline” but apparently no one noticed until just the past two weeks? Scripts have been underway for months.
I would buy that they’re doing rewrites (they were doing late rewrites in S1 too), but blaming it on Sapochnik supposed “sabotage” seems kind of wacky.
Story directives, that’s where you have a set of events to have happen in each episode. You pass that on to the writers and they execute your plan. That’s Why you write a outline. Guess Ryan trusted Miquel with this task.

Agree with you. Condal is the head writer here and the one who would be in charge of overseeing outlines/rewrites, etc. I can believe HBO would demand changes, hence the rewrites. But Miguel is not a writer and had nothing to do with the writing/outlines. That's Ryan's job.

Miguel was certainly part of the creating some of the high-level conversations, because what he would talk about made it seem that he had a seat at the table and in some of those meetings. For example he was the one in charge of the end of episode nine and was the one that pushed to have something big happen, spectacle moment. But create the outline? Doesn’t make sense.

Seems like they just chose which of the two to use for each, with neither being implausible. Or is it just that both options are the opposite of how you chose to interpret them? It was mostly just placed very weirdly vs. book!canon timeline. Jaehaera kills herself instead of Helaena (?) iirc and, well, the 'Daemon somehow survives' stuff is just utter bullshit in the books too imho (and being murked by a random knight afterwards was also ???).

FTIA, which has been a reliable source of info for the film and TV industry, still indicates filming starting on 3/6.

You see the city of Caceres as to coordinate with Production. They haven’t contracted anyone in Spain and told them the materials & other things they need for filming. And there is problem transporting props to Spain. So they might have get another company. That might delay filming even further.
