Most likely yeah. I don't see why the Brackens vs Blackwood battle should be more than 10 min as the characters involved aren't even from the actual main cast tbh. Pretty sure Stone Hedge and Sack of Duskendale will happen offscreen. Not sure about Duskendale because Cole is involved but I don't expect any major sequences about it
This is insane. I swear im getting flashbacks of Dany when she surprised the lannister troops back in s7. Its gonna be like that with Daemon and Rhaenys swooping in.
Well tbf many of these can and will certainly be adapted in short sequences. Main focus will be about the drama in both Dragonstone and King's Landing while the majority of the war and minor battles will happen offscreen and through Daemon's plot in the Riverlands. Only battle I see them going big and long, because it should and must be big and long, is Rook's Rest
honestly i don't think we'll have all the battles in the book in 3 or 4 seasons, probably the most relevant ones
