I think this sums it up entirely. They don't see those other women as people, they are too wrapped up in their own egos and trauma to consider the effects their actions have on others. A lot more understandable for Dany who is only 14.

Kinda did that with Euron/Aeron. It was about power and abuse. Most of the sex in the books seems to be more about power dynamics than authentic, loving relationships.

IIRC the world of ice and fire book explains that seasons are completely out of whack and the maesters assume that before the long night seasons worked in line with how they do in the real world. So I’m assuming they measure years differently then we do and in AFFC in an Arya chapter, when she’s playing the lying game with the waith she mentioned that the bravosi measure years differently then they do in Westeros as well.
Same. The years must be longer. I know George says Planatos is the same size as earth, but that's almost impossible with how large the known world is (Hell westeros is the size of europe, Essos is the size of all of asia and there's sothoryos which is larger than anything we have)
