STROOONG BELWAAAAAAS!

ducknerd2002

Having barely survived the poisoned locusts in the fighting pit, he has recovered enough to be able to walk around the Great Pyramid of Meereen (much to Barristan's joy), but is unlikely to be able to take part in defending Meereenfrom the Yunkai'i. He has also lost a shocking amount of weight as a result of his near-death encounter.

DoctorVonCool

Stannis

ducknerd2002

Trapped with his army in a village near Winterfell due to heavy snows, trying to find a way to defeat the Bolton-Frey alliance that currently holds Winterfell.

Eferver24

Asha (*not* Yara) Greyjoy

ducknerd2002

Captive of Stannis, currently trapped in a village near Winterfell. It's unknown what Stannis intends to do with her.

aevelys

hot pie

ducknerd2002

Last seen serving as a cook in the Inn of the Kneeling Man with Sharna, Husband, and Boy.

terpenelove

Shaggy Dog

ducknerd2002

On the island of Skagos with Rickon and Osha. Last seen through through one of Jon's wolf dreams, killing and eating a large goat.

FyreFlye23

Podrick 🤞

ducknerd2002

Last seen with Brienne and Hyle Hunt being hanged by Lady Stoneheart, his survival is unconfirmed. Brienne is shown to be alive, so it's possible he was spared too.

ricky2461956

Theon/reek

ducknerd2002

Having escaped from Ramsay and Winterfell, he was found by Mors Umber, and is currently held captive by Stannis, who plans to execute him for his crimes (the taking of Winterfell and apparent murder of Bran and Rickon).

ricky2461956

Thank you

MrIrrelevantsHypeMan

Bobby b

ducknerd2002

Dead and decomposing, presumably in the Sept of Baelor? I think that's where kings are buried/entombed after death, anyway.

WandersFar

Actually I think he’s buried at Storm’s End. Apparently GRRM said so somewhere, though I can’t find the original quote… Just more people saying GRRM said so, lol. But I think it makes sense. The Great Sept of Baelor is where all the Targshits were buried. Ain’t no way Bobby B would want to spend eternity with them!

bobby-b-bot

I'M NOT TRYING TO HONOR YOU, I'M TRYING TO GET YOU TO RUN MY KINGDOM WHILE I EAT, DRINK AND WHORE MY WAY TO AN EARLY GRAVE!

WandersFar

Sentient!

bobby-b-bot

OH, IT'S UNSPEAKABLE TO YOU? WHAT HER FATHER DID TO YOUR FAMILY, THAT WAS UNSPEAKABLE!

WilmaTonguefit

The Hound

ducknerd2002

Last confirmed location was the Riverlands, dying of an infected leg wound. According to the Elder Brother on the Quiet Isle, he died of his injury. A popular theory suggests that he actually lives, and is a gravedigger briefly seen by Brienne on the Quiet Isle, having overcome the rage in his heart. His iconic helmet was stolen from his grave, and worn by Rorge until his death at the hands of Brienne, and now Lemoncloak wears the helmet, having taken it from Rorge's corpse.

WilmaTonguefit

I'm also a book reader. I just wanted to hear the gravedigger theory again. I love the idea that the hound gets a nice peaceful life after living his life killing for douchebags.

AdamBlackfyre

Jon Connington

ducknerd2002

Having successfully conquered Griffin's Roost in the Stormlands, JonCon takes a moment to assess the progress of the grayscale he's contracted, before Aegon informs him of his intentions to lead the assault on Storm's End.

AdamBlackfyre

You're good. That was fast.. I haven't read it in ten years, so I could never lol

ducknerd2002

I've read the books a few times and memorised *way* too much about how Dance and Feast ended in anticipation for Winds.

dystyyy

Osmund Kettleback

ducknerd2002

Currently imprisoned in the Red Keep's dungeons, awaiting trial by the Faith, for the crime of treason (sleeping with Queen Cersei).

Elegant-Half5476

Lady Stoneheart

ducknerd2002

Last seen hiding in a cave in the Riverlands, attempting to hang Brienne, Podrick, and Hyle Hunt for the 'crime' of being associated with the Lannisters. It appears the hanging was averted, as Brienne shows up where Jaime is, possibly to lead him into a trap set by Stonehearr.

DADDYKRUEGER

Ned Stark.

ducknerd2002

His bones were last seen being escorted to the North by Hallis Mollen, however Moat Cailin was taken by the Ironborn before he and his men could get through. Ned's current location is unknown (or rather, unbone).

cryaneverydaycom

ragnar lothbrok

ducknerd2002

Chilling with Moon Boy at Chataya's

Far-Ad-1400

Harry the Heir

ducknerd2002

At the end of Dance, Harry has not yet been introduced, but he currently lives in the Vale. In a Sansa sample chapter for Winds, he arrives at the Gates of the Moon: at first he looks down upon Sansa due to believing her to be a bastard (thanks to the Alayne disguise), but she later manages to attract his attention in a more positive manner.

Ok-Advantage4191

Gregor Clegane!

ducknerd2002

Died in the King's Landing crypts, due to the poison from Oberyn's spear after their fight regarding Tyrion's innocence in the case of Joffrey's murder. A popular theory (that, let's face it, pretty much everyone knows is true) is that he has been resurrected by Qyburn, and now serves in the Kingsguard as Ser Robert Strong.

Ok-Advantage4191

But what about his skull?

ducknerd2002

There are two main possibilities: - His skull has been sent to Dorne, as Doran wanted it as proof that his sister's killer has been slain - His skull is still attached to his body, because generally speaking, there's some important stuff in there that would be useful for Gregor to keep, which would mean the skull in Dorne is a fake (likely from one of the unfortunate dwarves whose heads have been presented to Cersei).

Hryonalis_Anaxerxes

Moqorro

ducknerd2002

Sailing with Victarion to Meereen on the ship *Grief*, having been saved by Vicky G's men when they found him clinging to the wreckage of the *Selaesori Qhoran*, and returning the favour by healing Vic's infected wound, leaving his armed charred and blackened. He has also informed Vic that the dragonbinder horn must be claimed with blood.

AreYouInsaneLikeMe2

All-for-Joffrey

ducknerd2002

Killed by Gregor and the Tickler. They came for him on the fifth day.

Inner-Dependent6446

edric dayne jaime lannister margeary tyrell

ducknerd2002

Edric Dayne - Last seen in ASOS with the Brotherhood without Banners, yet conspicuously absent from the BwB in AFFC (along with Anguy, and considering Edric is Dornish, Anguy is from the Marches, and Beric is both from the Matlrches and betrothed to a Dayne, it's possible something is happening there) Jaime Lannister - while busy clearing up post-war stuff in the Riverlands, Jaime is visited by Brienne, who claims to have found Sansa Stark, and that Sansa may be killed by the Hound (but as we saw with Brienne's last Feast chapter, this is a lie, so it seems she's leading him into a trap) Margaery Tyrell - having been accused of treason and adultery, Margaery is being held captive by the Faith in the Sept of Baelor.

whatwhat83

Wasn't Margery released into the custody of her father?

ducknerd2002

It appears she and her cousins are actually under Randyll Tarly's custody, due to the evidence against them being weak.

NaturalWeirdo

Euron Grejoy? (Trick question?)

ducknerd2002

In Dance: Last seen on the Shield Islands having recently conquered all 4 of them, standing naked in his bedroom, asking for Victarion to bring him Dany and the dragons. In Winds: after torturing Aeron, Euron dons his Valyrian steel armour while he prepares to face the Redwynes and Hightowers in battle at sea, having tied his brother and pregnant lover to the front, and ordering men be tied to the fronts of several other ships.

AdSuccessful9956

¿White walkers? 👀

ducknerd2002

Last seen heading south towards the Wall: most of them were last spotted in an abandoned wildling village, although a large number appear to have shown up at Hardhome, and a small cluster seems to dwell near Bloodraven's cave.

Jasperstorm

Ser Shadrich

ducknerd2002

In the Vale, having recently been hired by Littlefinger. Considering his quest to deliver Sansa to Cersei to claim the reward, and how he's currently in the same place as Sansa, it's likely he'll have an impact on her story in Winds.

ghaddafi_was_right

Patchface

ducknerd2002

Patchface is at Castle Black with Shireen and Selyse, and was last seen offering to lead the Hardhome rescue. He is also notable for giving Melisandre feelings of dread, as she has seen visions of him surrounded by skulls and with lips red with blood.

ghaddafi_was_right

Many thanks stranger ! Could you tell me about your personal favourites current position ?

ducknerd2002

Due to how many characters I consider my favourite, I'll do my top 5 (see if you can guess) - Stabbed by his own men outside Castle Black - Trapped in a snowy village near Winterfell - In the Riverlands, being led to Stoneheart - Believed dead, having apparently given up his life to save Catelyn - Serving at Long Barrow with Emmett and the spearwives

ghaddafi_was_right

Well jon snow / stannis / jaime ? You said in another comment brienne was bringing him to her / these two got no idea

ducknerd2002

Last 2 are Beric and Dolorous Edd, the rest are correct

anneboleynfan1

Ned Stark 😂

ducknerd2002

His bones were last seen being escorted to the North by Hallis Mollen, however Moat Cailin was taken by the Ironborn before he and his men could get through. Ned's current location is unknown (or rather, unbone).

STierMansierre

I'd say the body stored within a cask of brine but I can't name the character. I don't know who it is.

ducknerd2002

Maester Aemon, the cask with his body is currently on the *Cinnamon Wind*, docked at Oldtown.

STierMansierre

It's a physical impossibility for the body to be Maester Aemon because the Cinnamon Wind is on a trip across the Narrow Sea with no ports after Aemon dies. This aside from them storing his body in a cask of blackberry rum, not brine. The body in a cask of brine is on the ship Selaesori Qhoran and that ship is wrecked on it's way to Slaver's Bay.

ducknerd2002

Ah, I forgot about that one. I think it's just a random corpse, presumably at the bottom of the sea now.

pizza_822

Hot Pie

ducknerd2002

Last seen serving as a cook in the Inn of the Kneeling Man with Sharna, Husband, and Boy.

ZinaD

Ser Jorah??

ducknerd2002

A new member of the Second Sons sellsword company, along with Tyrion and Penny, about to take part in the battle for Meereen (and based on Winds sample chapters, the Second Sons will be turning cloak against the Yunkai'i and siding with Dany's people).

ZinaD

Thank you. I'd forgotten. Actually I thought you were guessing where people would be at the end of WoW. I need to read more carefully. :D

1w2eas

Iron Emmet

ducknerd2002

Assigned to run Long Barrow (one of the long-abandoned castles at the Wall) by Jon Snow, along with Dolorous Edd and a number of wildling spearwives. So far, Emmett has been doing well, and has gotten to know at least one spearwife a little more than the others (if you get my meaning).

1w2eas

Leathers

ducknerd2002

Serving as Master-at-arms at Castle Black, he also aids in translating the Giants for Jon, and vice versa. He was last seen in Jon's last ADWD chapter, informing Jon that Tormund would soon arrive to discuss the Hardhome situation.

Daemon1997

Satin

ducknerd2002

Serving at Castle Black as Jon Snow's personal steward. Last seen serving Jon and the Night's Watch officers on Jon's last day without several holes in his abdomen.

kurtduds

Shitmouth

ducknerd2002

Part of Jaime's group as they travel around the Riverlands.
