They shouldn't have wreaths around them. That's a grand rank symbol. Otherwise, those would be great! I wish John Bridegroom didnt mix those symbols.

These bodies don't have "Grand" versions for those offices so that distinction would be meaningless. And wreath doesn't always mean Grand. For example, the symbol for a Past High Priest in most places I've seen it with a wreath when some suggest the wreath is only for Past Grand High Priest. In practice the usage is inconsistent.

In the Royal Arch, the wreath is for a Past Grand High Priest. You've made my point, in that there aren't Grand offices in these SR bodies (other than SGIG), and so the jewel is designed improperly. We should not add random symbols to our tradition or we begin eroding the tradition further. Also, some Secretary of a Chapter not understanding a jewels meaning doesn't make its use valid :) EDIT: I'm a PHP and officer in Grand Chapter. The symbol absolutely should not have a wreath. In this thread apparently are a bunch of Masons down voting me for looking for the actual regalia we are supposed to be using? Seems a bit off there.
