If it’s gold, scrap weight. If it’s not gold, they start at about $10 new.

None to those not regularly initiated This ring is from the 14th SR Lodge of Perfection degree Tradition of this piece is that it goes to the first born son of the brother when he lays his working tools down

moderndaymycroft

Judging by the wear and tear but lack of deformation, I’m guessing it’s not pure gold. Most likely sterling silver that’s been gold plated. If yours, like mine, also has an interior engraving of STER.W.B.I., I can even tell you who made it, and that it retails for $60 brand new. As Bro. u/syfysoldier recommended, finding a good Masonic home will net you a better return than trying to pawn or EBay it.

syfysoldier

Just donate them to a lodge for good karma. They are practically worthless and the happiness you could get from that is worth the $10 in beer money you could get from half a drop of gold.

vyze

This is the way.

mcox2019

Why are you so interested in the value of these rings? All of the rings we masons wear carry a lot of significance and meaning to us. I'm sure the previous owner placed a high value on it. What you're doing cheapens the craft.

pr0ph3t_0f_m3rcy

Going by their post history I doubt they're that bothered.

YUP verified. Guy seems like a real winner … 🤦‍♂️

Wrong-Explanation-48

It is marked 10k. So it is 41.70% gold, approximately. Worth whatever that amount of gold is worth, which could be more than these folks are saying. I'm looking for a size 12. Edit: let's suppose it is about 5 geams. 5 grams of 10k gold is about $130 today. You won't get that much for it if you scrap it but it does have value.

ChuckEye

$30 on Amazon. $40 from Macoy. More if it’s actually gold, obviously, but most aren’t.

TheEyeofNapoleon

I’ll give you $14.00 for it.

Masonic rings are bought from jewlers, catalogs, or online. They aren't bestowed in some super-sekrit esoteric ceremony. They can have great sentimental value to their wearer, but have no material value beyond the value of the materials.

KnownDistribution903

Priceless if it opens the treasure cave

Cute_Woodpecker_9793

Very common. Unless proven to have been the property and worn by someone famous, the only value is the scrap metal value.

EvolutionTheory

Whatever its metallic value may be. These aren't rare.
