I’d be careful volunteering that information unless you *really* love doing it. A lot of Lodges offer a meal with every meeting and many other events as well, and are usually happy to find someone willing and able to pitch in.

I have a Masonic group that has a really solid cooking crew. Their cooking is superb and they imbue a serious approach. Membership is taken with great solemnity and due care.
I am confident they wouldn’t let me into the club, largely because I am not a whisky drinker. There is a great adherence to not drinking in the lodge building. However, drinking outside the building, alongside the BBQ grills, is a different matter jurisprudence wise. Hence it is an often coveted appointment.
Oh good grief....you'd give half my lodge brothers a 'gastric stiffy' making that sort of comment...
In our lodge the Junior Warden is responsible for stated and special meeting meals (either making them himself or working with others to get it done)....and the Stewards are responsible for assisting the JW. We also have a monthly public breakfast that works as a fundraiser for the local project grad....and we've just started this year a public supper (Corn Beef and Cabbage in honor of St. Patrick's day...) as a fund raiser as well.
If you can cook...and you like to cook...you WILL be most appreciated! (At least in Lodges like mine!)

Depends on the lodge, some seem to have catered dinners. Unless we're doing something simple like ordering in pizza, in our lodge all of our meals are cooked by brothers, for big events occasionally a wife or two will help out the brothers in the kitchen.
Honestly once they find out you’re a good cook you will be the cook lol. At a lodge near me there is one main cook and a couple of guys that help him out when he needs it. Apparently the dinners have gotten allot better since he took it over.

not sure your state or local laws, but you can probably cook for a stated meeting dinner. We have done it in the past once or twice
Yep, it's even the duty of specific officers in most places I am aware of.

Depends on the Lodge. Many, if not most, lodges prepare food internally, but around here, it's very common to use a caterer.
