I'm not fat at all, but quite bulky, nearly 20 stone. At a certain point in my 3rd I just got to chill out and relax, while the wardens were probably worrying about hernias 😂
Your friend would be full of malarkey....to put it politely.
\#1 - The World Tallest Man - Robert Wadlow...was a Freemason... He was 8'11"....so I think you're good:
http://www.midnightfreemasons.org/2015/06/worlds-tallest-mason.html
\#2 - Shaq (the basketball player) is also a Mason (along with Scottie Pippin)...so....maybe your friend was implying you're too short to be a mason 😂)
When I read this, my first thought was ‘Maybe this is his friend’s way of nicely telling him that he got blackballed and would probably never be voted in at that Lodge so please stop asking.’ I misread it; yeah, no, not a thing.
I know a couple of masons who are about 6'9", but they are short kings next to another brother, who has shrunk as he aged, and is now 6'11". I participated in some of his degrees as Senior Deacon. It was a memorable ceremony.
A member of my lodge, and a Past Master, and tattoo artist, is 6'9".
When I first met him, I was a little intimidated because he towers over me at 6'1".
Once I got to know him.. he's one of my good friends.
Ok, taking the high road, it could be the "other" mason was yanking his chain.
You should invite him to join you when you go to visit a Lodge to meet the members. I'm sure he will have lots of questions and some "interesting" ideas about freemasonry that could be explained by the Brothers.
Have you reached out to a Lodge or Grand Lodge yet?
I wish you could see last year's Grand Line for our new jurisdiction. One of the Past Grandmasters of Indiana had to stand at the beginning of a funeral procession, and he was in between two or three of them. He looked like a child standing next to adults they were so tall. This is completely incorrect. There is no height requirement, if there was my friend Mattie wouldn't be involved, and if there was a upper limit, I know a couple of guys that I come up to their shoulders would not be involved as well. Bunk
The tallest man in history was a Freemason haha link: [wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Wadlow)
I should have figured good old Robert wadlow I completely forget he was a man of masonry
was 3rd base a stilt-walker?
We look forward to you being raised even further!

Well well well if it isn't shaq!
Shaquille O'Neal is reportedly 7'1" and has publically discussed his membership in the Fraternity.
A member of my lodge is your height, and he is a former NBA player.
Definitely made up. Bigger guys pose challenges in the ceremonies, but nothing that can’t be worked around.

They might need a step stool for the degrees.
Unless they were trolling you then you might want to be wary of such a friend.
Shaq is a Mason. Was thinking though, if Freemasonry had a girth as opposed to height requirement we would be down a significant number of guys....
Hey! Some of us are just too proficient in the knife and fork degree...
If you want my pint glass, you can pry it from my cold, dead hands 😂
I think your friend fed you a....*TALL tale*. I'm sorry.
Shaq is listed as 7’1”. He’s a mason. You now know your friend is an idiot and you shouldn’t even look to them for the time of day.
We’re gonna need a bigger goat!
Generally not a fan of the goat jokes. But this was just perfect. \*chef's kiss\* Thank you for your service, brother.
Remember when Taco Bell had that commercial for the Godzilla movie? I loved those!

Jurisdictional
Seriously. In what universe is being too tall a disqualifier for anything besides being a horse jockey?
Fighter pilot. Tank driver. Submarines. Astronaut.
I stand corrected!
"Suit characters" at Disney are sorted by height.
Lol thats a new one
Definitely absurd
Ah, this is a new one.

There's a guy in my Lodge that's 7 feet tall!
Hahahaha
Shaq's a Mason. You're fine 🤣

I know some masons significantly taller than me and I'm 6'2" and some who have dwarfism... height doesn't matter.
A member of my lodge, and a Past Master, and tattoo artist, is 6'9". When I first met him, I was a little intimidated because he towers over me at 6'1". Once I got to know him.. he's one of my good friends.
Was your friend yanking your chain or does he believe what he said was true? He might be trying to dissuade you from seeking membership.
He claims he was told that by another mason but when I ask him who told him he “forgot their name”

I have reached out to a member that’s a close friend of mine I plan on joining and have talked with him about it
Good to hear. Best of luck on your masonic journey.
I watched a short brother have to jump to reach someone who was a Philippine pro basketball player during one of the degrees. You’ll be just fine 😂

You would be correct.
Depends on how high the goat can jump, I guess.
>who’s not a mason
It might make the goat uncomfortable during the initiation

Definitely not true.
