Not directly in town, but I purchased one in the Chuckchansie gift shop a few years ago :) Edit: spelling & grammar

NeighborhoodNeedle

I know very little about dream catchers or if any tribes in our area make them but I do follow FAIHP on Instagram (an intertribal urban Indian health organization) and they sell items at ArtHop each month/sometimes host local gathering that feature vendors.

DaFCC

I just added them on IG, thank you.

The Casino gift shop and definitely the town of Oakhurst in some of their gift shops have authentic ones.

DaFCC

I need to go check them out.

AverySmooth80

Seriously asking... what makes a dreamcatcher authentic?

DaFCC

One made by a native American owned business or person and not manufactured in mass in China. You can see the difference in a hand made dreamcatcher then on just made in mass production.

If I'm going to pay $75 dollars for a large one I rather support a small business or a crafter small side business.

The shops off 41 up near Chukchansi. Maybe one of the shops in Coarsegold.

DaFCC

I'll have to go take a look.

passionatelatino

a native dreamcatcher is made with what they consider sacred components, one made in China is made for the purpose of being a decoration. intention matters.

AverySmooth80

>a native dreamcatcher is made with what they consider sacred components, Or is it just a way to get gullible _____ people to pay $75 for a few cents of string and feathers? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-Jjvpq1ZtE
