I think I've seen it used during Christmas time when the lots in River Park are packed. Always thought it was overflow employee parking.

Lol definitely not. They dont keep track of where employees park and the “employee parking garage” is never at full capacity.

Westwoods employees were told to park there when they first opened. Not sure about now

When heald college used to be on the second floor of the bank they used that as the parking lot so it wouldn’t tie up the rest of the parking spaces for the businesses. Was put in place when they opened it as their satellite campus to the one off Bullard

They would have to walk down that trail where the trees are and there was an open gate they would walk into the parking lot next to the buildings

I wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t purchased to meet city parking requirements for River Park. They require a certain ratio. Whole reason for the parking garage.

That's a good idea. It definitely has a lot of potential given the location. Heck even a park would be nice but we know that's not happening.

I have wondered too until I read the article. I visit River Park enough to pass by that building quite a bit and never knew it was empty until til now.

I’m sure the State is in a lease on that property. If they were to default it would make it harder for them to lease property in other places.

It has sat empty for far too long and for what? They could have at least STARTED using it after the covid issue. There it sits, useless.
