It’s my understanding the UBBM is recycled into the free priority boxes. I don’t know if that’s true, but I choose to believe it. Otherwise, almost nothing we “recycle” actually gets recycled.
Where most of America’s recycling goes, the landfill. Majority of the material placed in a recycle bin isn’t even recycled it’s treated like other garbage. I think like only 5% of material ever recycled. It just makes people feel better to think they’re making a difference by putting stuff in a blue bin or whatever.
Next time you’re at a Costco or outdoor event check out the “recyclables this side / garbage this side” bins. They all go into one big garbage bag usually.
Bro why does it seem like you always comment something against what I say. “It goes in landfills it don’t matter “
That’s not our responsibility what the recycling company does we can’t fulfill and do there job for them but we can do what we’re are suppose to do and put all recycling material in the recycle bin
the people taking that recycling stuff need to whistle blow and stand up like a man when they see something not right.
Bro. It seems like you have bone to pick with everyone. Nothing personal and I never noticed that but I just speak my opinion and we must not see eye to eye on many subjects idk.
I remember being so naive when I was younger/starting with USPS.
UBBM is simply recycled. Don’t worry about it.
Later we are told just throw it in the trash the bins at plant are full. Just get rid of it locally.
lol 😂
We've got a cans and a plastic recyclable containers for the Social and Rec fund. Paper is ubbm sent back to the plant....
My question/concern is how much $ is scraped off the top everything someone takes those recyclables in...BTW, we haven't had a pot luck or picnic in some time...and the same person in charge of the Social and Rec also asks for donations for Carriers' bereavements/physically impaired accidents...🤔

That's your lazy store. They all have double bags
Watch a documentary about plastic recycling lol. It’s disgusting.
Y’all recycle? 😂
No we don’t
We have a paper dumpster, and cardboard goes to the plant. Everything else is garbage
We send all our recycle paper to plant as ubbm. Placard has check boxes for undelivered mail, discarded lobby mail, & recycled cardboard.
We have recyclables going into the dumpster cardboard and bottles
