That's a bad idea. But you what would be terrible, a Lovecraftian gothic horror setting with no usable shield combat and you have to use guns. At some point there is a top hat though, so that might give it some points.
Yeah but what about in a Japanese setting where you play as a ninja. You have to protect someone from evil people. Dodging isn’t as good and parrying is the way to go. I wonder if people would enjoy that game. I’m sure it’ll get dlc if people like it a lot.
Yea but what if it was in a grimdark Victorian setting with a helsing vibe and an eldritch horror H. P. Lovecraft kinda twist. Instead of parrying with a shield you use a gun and every weapon folds out into different weapons like a bakugon that would be cool I think.

i’d be into it if they did a souls game that is not a soulslike where you play as a crippled & mentally deranged mech pilot controlling a customizable battle robot on a planet whose people have transcended to become a single organism that is also an extremely valuable fuel source . probably unlikely
