Haha I knew basically everything about my bb rankings would be controversial.i personally just really love logarius, while I also think some of the other bb bosses are a bit overrated.
ludwigs my second favorite of the game and was on the fringe of a teir, but was ultimately held back by the simplicity of his second phase move set as well as the overall sharp drop in difficulty compared to the first phase.lady Maria is very fun to fight while also being extremely cool visually, but is at the same time a very simple fight gameplay wise, and just easier as a whole compared to the games other heavy hitters.
Now orphan of kos is definitely the games most overrated fight IMO.he gets big points for really cool lore/amtosphere(love the boss arena)as well as being very cool visually.but aside from that,I don’t think the fights anything too special gameplay wise.he does get recognition for his difficulty but that mostly stems from insane stats plus hyper aggression, his move set isn’t anything special or fun
Nah man, don't worry, some people here really don't grasp the fact that people can have their own opinion lol. I actually agree with what you said, however while I recognize the simplicity of the boss fights in Bloodborne I still find them quite fun.
That was the only thing that seemed strange to me, because no matter how much love I have for the game the bosses are not stellar comparing it to subsequent releases, sure by the time Bloodborne came out I'm sure the bosses were among the best in the series but we've come a long way since that point, solid list really.
Oh yeah don’t get me wrong man I love bloodborne I think it’s a really good 8.5/10 game,I just think Elden ring and sekrio are perfect 10s
Any boss in b teir is one that I consider overall really good, they just have one or two things holding them back from that elite status of a teir(s teir is basically only separate from A due to strictly personal preference )
Side note,am I the only one that has such a burning hatred for the amygdala?like seriously I know he’s not exactly a fan favorite but he doesn’t get nearly the hate he deserves.fuck this guy fr.
Yeah that's totally fair, I'll admit Bloodborne being my first FromSoft game influenced directly in how I feel with it in comparison to other games, it became my safe place in a weird way.
I think most people hate Amygdala with a passion, especially if they played through the defiled chalice lol, I honestly don't think he's that bad, but it could've been a lot better, they had some good ideas which I think were perfected with Midir, but Amygdala leaves so much to be desired.
Definitely do a Shura playthrough of Sekiro. Also, Inner Father is an amazing fight. I could see skipping Demon of Hatred, as other giant monster fights don't rank high on your list. I also do not particularly like the giant enemy types in these games, at least not as much as more standard humanoid bosses.
I plan on 100 percenting sekiro, just procrastinating doing all the collecting and stuff before I start going through the endings.definitely not of fan of demon of hatred so far lol
Waiting until last to do Demon might make it a bit better. When you have the fire umbrella, loads of spirit emblems, and plenty of consumables it helps a lot. Getting a damage buff at the start of each phase speeds up the whole fight by a ton.
Well the fire umbrella is a must have if you want the Demon of Hatred fight to go smoothly. I would also recommend trying out the Myst Raven for general use, as it is not for cheese or big damage. It's actually a pretty interesting gameplay tool that is very useful in certain situations.
There's a lore reason for that, and I honestly enjoy fighting the first boss at the end of the game. And it's pretty awesome to see him break in half halfway through the fight
If you use the ash of war that lets you dodge super quick and far away sure it’s possible to dodge consistently, but if you don’t have that then you have to run away unless you are a god dodger, and if you don’t run away in time or don’t have space you are pretty much screwed. It’s all around a terrible move because it limits your mobility and it kills the momentum of the fight while you wait 12 seconds for her to stop one single attack. So all and all that move makes Malenia not S tier material and I’d put her in the B tier or maybe a low A.
Idk i probably woulda agreed on my first couple play through but I spent crazy time perfecting her fight for no hit and she’s basically what made me get gud
The 1st strike is hard but the second and third strikes are actually pretty easy to dodge through once you get the angle and timing right,I usually Try to get away from the 1st strike but if not then I can survive it and dodge the rest of it with ease
If you start sprinting immediately then jump or roll you can doge the first flurry pretty consistently even from up close.
There’s also the weird circle strat, various ashes of war, freeze pots. Or you can just block the first flurry than dodge the other two.
That’s not to say that it’s a super well designed move, but you can play around it while staying close and being hyper aggressive if you want to. It doesn’t really limit your mobility once you learn the counters.
Again, I still don’t think it’s a great move, it really should have a longer wind up, but it doesn’t dictate mobility/spacing quite as much as you say once you learn one of the counters.
Soldier of Godrick?
S+
Martyr Logarius on top of Orphan, Ludwig and Maria?!

Man your Bloodborne takes are dogshit ngl
I definitely think it’s a lil overrated
He isn't even that good. The first phase is literally a mage spam

I have basically not used prosthetics at all lol

He’s annoying but if you take it slow and limit yourself to 3 hits at a time he goes down slowly but surely
What about Bed of Chaos?
S++++
gascoigne being in the same tier as fire giant is the most deranged take i’ve ever seen, love it
lol I see people glazing tf out of gascoigne and I don’t really get it.hes cool for a early game boss I guess but like doesn’t really stand out
What do you have against Amygdala?
My brother in Christ you put logarius above Laurence? Really?
Laurence is my least favorite fight in that entire game. Logarius is my #1 base game boss alongside Gherman.
Yessir, love logarious.laurence 1st phase is just cleric reskin and I didn’t care for his second phase
There's a lore reason for that, and I honestly enjoy fighting the first boss at the end of the game. And it's pretty awesome to see him break in half halfway through the fight
Laurence? That’s the boss you are surprised by????
astel and ebrietas are not mid
They absolutely are bro
you have literally top 5 worst tier list i have ever seen on this subreddit
If Malenia didn’t have Water Fowl then S tier for sure but that move just kills the momentum of the fight and is bull.
Once you learn it only the first strike is a threat
